I just smiled, hoping so. We were up early the next morning for our trip to the hospital. I felt sick with nerves as we walked into the room and greeted the doctors. I knew it was my fault we weren't pregnant. He left the room to give his sample and I was taken down to the surgery room. I woke an hour later feeling sore and sleepy but fell back asleep.

"Your wife's procedure went well. In five days she can take a pregnancy test and if all is well it will read positive. If not, then we'll do another round of egg extraction and insemination. Make sure she rests, you may leave when she wakes." He told Derick and left the room.

"Can we go on our holiday now?" I asked softly.

I smiled. "We can yes and we can also take a text in 5 days Bebe!" I kissed her and we went home to pack. I made sure to throw in the test hoping and praying it would come back positive. On my jet she was still sleepy so she slept most the way. Once there we had a great time. Tomorrow marks the 5th day and today we have both been on edge not wanting to do much so we sat around the vila and cuddle most the day. We both haven't ate much. "Hey how you feeling? Any different? Are you hungry?" I needed to know really needed to know.

"Umm I guess I'm a little hungry." I wasn't too sure, mostly anxious. "My boobs are sore, is that a sign?" I had no clue about any symptoms.

I looked at her. "I'm not so sure." I hoped so. "I'm going to make us some dinner. Any cravings?" I asked and she shook her head. So I made a light dinner of sandwiches and chips yeah I'm a real cook tonight.

"I don't think I'm pregnant." I said after eating, my gaze dropped to the floor "if it's ok with you, I'd rather not go through IVF again, it hurt and I miss us and our connection when we make love." I hoped he didn't mind but I just didn't want to keep getting my hopes up any longer only to be left dissapointed. "If it's negative tomorrow then I am ok with it being just us."

I hated hearing the defeat in her voice. "Alex Bebe I'll be happy as long as you're happy." I got up and walked to her. Kneeling and kissing her hand up her arm. "I love you and I love us, we can always adopt a baby."

"I don't want to adopt" I whispered tears falling down my cheeks "I want to be pregnant with your baby." I sadly smiled "you've got two children, I just wish we could have our own together."

I sighed. "I know baby I know." I got up and picked her up with me. "Let's make love right now!" I didn't know if I was doing or saying anything right but I know I could show her by loving in her.

I guess it wouldn't matter, it wasn't going to interfere with the results. Kissing him, I hugged him back "love me all night long." I've missed this so much, just us being us. "I want to love you all night long."

I smiled at her. "Then let's get started baby lol. I wanted to distract her from what tomorrow could or couldn't bring. I kissed her hard and took her right there and then. We made love everywhere in the vila and it was so great to feel like us again. Now I lay here watching her sleep hoping tomorrow brings ha cmgood news but I didn't think it would.

My body ached in an incredible way, last night had been amazing. Today however, I was anxious and nervous as we got up, and I spotted the test on the bathroom sink. "Fingers crossed baby!" I wrapped my arms around him close, my heart racing as I pulled away and went into the bathroom to take the test.

Negative.

Dissapointment flooded through me as I stared at the words on the small screen. I couldn't look at Derrick. He much be relived to be finally over this baby making after he didn't want anymore in the first place. "We should swim with dolphins today. Or go hiking?"

I sighed. She was upset and trying to be strong for me. "Yeah I'm sure whatever you want baby or we can stay here and love each other more." I watched as her face showed a little bit of sadness and then she covered it up. "We can do whatever you want. This is your day."

I couldn't hold back as tear ran down my cheek "what I want to do is lay in bed and cry but after 10 negative pregnancy tests and sterile fucking to a routine, I'd rather we just visit the markets before coming back and fucking until your dick can't get hard again."

I smiled and laughed. "Let's do just that but umm I'd rather keep my dick attatched." We laughed then went on with our day trying to ignore the test results and trying to keep a happy front up. After when we got back to the vila I kissed her hard and gave her what she and I both needed. Each other.

"Maybe tomorrow?" I suggested stroking my fingers over his chest as I propped myself up. "I want to go back to work, I need something to do during the day."

I sighed. "And you want to go back to bartending?" I wasn't happy with that but I can't stop her. "Why not take my spot and run the place?" I hope she takes it! I hated her being out in the floor with drunk guys hitting on her.

"I was thinking maybe I could work in the cafe instead?" I asked hoping he was ok with me doing that. "I'd rather spend our nights together."

I smiled and grabbed her pulling her tight. "That's a lovely idea." I couldn't be happier with that. It eased my mind. "I will be home every night now that I have a trusting mananger."

I laughed "well I think I need a change in scenery, my cooking skills are much better and id never pass up the chance to finish at five and spend the evening with my hot husband."

"I like how you think Bebe!" I kissed her not able to get the smile off my face. "Bebe let's get some Aleppo and maybe get a good breakfast in the morning." I hated that we weren't pregnant but at least she isn't going back to the bar.

We settled back into a routine was going back home. There was no point in moving elsewhere when it was just the two of us, and the apartment was big enough for us both. The cafe was good, but I wouldn't deny my heart was aching everytime a woman with children came in. I'd always want children of my own with him but it just wasn't for us. So we planned a holiday in 8 months instead and I was excited for us to travel Europe with his kids. That was until I felt unwell one day at work and had to come home sick. Noticing a pregnancy test in the cupboard. I sighed what the hell, and took it.

I was so excited to spend time with the kids and Alex that I left work a little early to stop and get Alex a gift. Stopping at the jewelry store buying new bracelet for her. I smiled waking inside our apartment noticing she was already home. "Baby what's going on why are you home so early!" I called out looking for her and finally finding her in the bathroom, "are you okay you look really pale!"

"I'm pregnant." I held up the test in my shaking hand. "I thought I was sick and came home early.. but I'm.. I'm pregnant."
