She went to her first party, expecting a fun time. What happened, would leave her with a permanent reminder of that night forever.

He was young, stupid and out for a good time. His friends tell him a girls hot for him in the bedroom upstairs who likes it rough.. Drunk and horny, he fucks her.. Not realising she's drugged, half passed out and mumbling no. He didn't realise what he'd done until it was too late.. So he left, thinking he'd never see her again.

Years later, in a grocery store.. He's back in town and they bump into each other. He doesn't recognise her at first. When he goes to leave, he notices that the little girl beside her has his eyes and it all comes crashing back to him. He wants her.. He wants to be there for his daughter.. The only problem, she has no idea he's the one who done to her all those years ago that left her with a child.

Will the guilt eat him up, making him finally confess?

"it's ok, she'll get to have a bubble bath afterwards!" I grinned as she gave a toothy smile back. "dinner is amazing, and you're right, they are the best meatballs ever."

I smiled. "My grams would really like you two." I took a big bite making sure I got messy like Emma making her laugh.

"is she around here still?" I asked scrunching my face in mock disgust as Emma giggled "hes funny mummy! Can we keep him?" I smiled, "I think we just might sweetheart." I definitely couldn't say goodbye to him now

I smirked. And then wiped my mouth. "Sadly no my grams died my senior year of high school right before graduation." I said looking off I missed her and I was grieving bad that night my so called buddies dragged me out.

I felt bad. "I'm sorry.." he seemed to care for her alot. "my Nana would adore you.." I started to say when I was cut of by Emma squealing "grandma!!" speak of the devil, she walked into the dining room "oh I didn't realise you had company." she smiled, "and you're right, a handsome young chap indeed."

I smiled and stood. "Ma'am would you like to join us Emma and I made plenty." I spoke politely. I didn't want to make a bad impression at all.

"oh no, I won't interrupt any further, I just came to drop off some freshly made jam, seeing as though Emma loves to have it on her toast each morning." she smiled,.giving Maddy a wink.

"well thankyou Nana, I'm sure you couldn't have dropped it over in the morning. I'll bring Emma over around 8." I got up, walking her back to the door as she not so quietly whispered "hes a keeper, I have a good feeling about this boy. Polite and handsome, oh I told you that good things come to those who wait."

I sighed when I heard her nana, it was good news but also hurt because if she knew who I was in the first place she wouldn't like me at all. The longer I wait to tell her could be worse. I'm going to loose them both so I have to wait.

I came back to see him still sitting there, and smiled "sorry about that. She likes to help out alot.. I wouldn't know what to do without her."

I laughed. "No need to apologize she loves you two and that's awesome." I liked knowing she had a little help when I had no clue. "So I was thinking maybe we could take Emma to get some ice cream after dinner." I whispered so Emma wouldn't hear.

"that sounds nice.. Just a small one, she won't sleep otherwise." I could never really got afford to take her out for icecream.so it would be a nice treat after. dinner. Not that I expected him to pay, Id bring my own bag.

After I cleaned up my mess and dinner plates we walked outside. "Does she have a special seat?" I had no clue bit of she did when I left her tonight I was going to get one so we didn't have to transfer the one out of Maddys car.

"yeah there's one in the car,.we can take mine own though like?" I suggested, holding up the keys.

I smiled. "No way! I asked you to Clem along so I will drive." I snatched the keys from her and picked Emma up. I opted the door and looked at the seat. "Umm how does this work?"

I couldn't help but laugh at how clueless he seemed "here, I'll help you." I showed him what to do afyer I played Emma in and clipped her up. "you'll get the hang of it"

I smiled and grabbed her hand bringing her to the passenger side opening the door but before she could get in I kissed her lightly. "I'm sure I will and I can't wait." I said and went around to get in. "Okay we already for ice cream!"

"yes!" Emma and I both exclaimed together. I had a feeling she might have passed out, but didn't tell him that "what's your favourite kind of icecream?" I wanted to know all about him

I laughed. "Rocky road, yours?" I glanced back and noticed Emma was a little droopy "is she okay?" I asked suddenly very worried.

"yeah she's half asleep." I smiled assuring him,  it was sweet that he cared. "and mines coffee bean." I nervously fumbled with my fingers in my lap, still thinking about that kiss.

I glanced at her. "I've never tried coffee bean, sounds to adult like." I laughed trying to make a joke and make her laugh.

"youre a big kid at heart, Emma likes rocky road, but I think she might have to miss out." I glanced over, motioning to her "she's fast asleep." and that meant we were alone. My heart rate picked up, nervous and excited

"Awe you m an we can't wake her for ice cream?" I smiled and reached over and grabbed her hand. So she like my chips and my ice cream mmm I wonder what else she liked that I did as well.

Smiling as I squeezed his hand "I.had a great time tonight, you'll have to cook for me again." I hoped he would

"Anytime sweetie anytime." I brought her hand to my mouth and placed a light kiss. "Let's still get ice team and I'll buy a little tub of rocky for Emma."

"she'll love that." I smiled, swooning over him even more. "what are your plans for tomorrow? Actually I don't think I even know where you work."
