I sighed and patted the spot next to me. "Lila princess I don't like the way things are with you two, Jake told me he said something mean to you about Wade. I'm sorry, but can you um forgive him?" I said watching her look confused.

"umm yeah sure I'm not mad with him, if I was then I wouldn't have offered him dinner.." I felt terrible and almost confessed the truth then and there, brushing my hand against his cheek I placed my lips against his cheek "how are you feeling, do you need to rest?"

I smiled. "No I'm good a lot better that your here, just wish I could remember more." No sighed. "It sucks like really sucks I feel I'm missing something that is so important."

"Im going to take a shower, it's been a long couple days." I managed, standing back him. "I won't be long, you just eat up." I placed a.swift kiss against his mouth and rushed to the bathroom. The shower water on, door locked, I stood in the small shower and broke down sobbing for the loss of our child.

I sat there for a while, she said she wouldn't be long but it sure seemed like it. I got up and groaned due to my shoulder and back. I knocked on the bathroom door. "Lila princess you okay in there?" I figured she was upset with me mentioning Wade.

I immediately stood up when I heard his voice, taking a deep breath before I answered "yes, I'm good. I won't be long.." I managed hoping I sounded normal as I turned the water off, wrapping a towel around my waist and opening the door to see him standing there. "are you ok?"

I smiled and leaned my good side onto the door frame. "I'm good a little worried about you though. I can tell my bringing up Wade hurt and I'm sorry. But princess please don't go behind doors to cry, let me hold you and comfort you."

I wish he didn't say this. "No.." I shook my head, unable to make eye contact. "It's not Wade. It's nothing, i'm just being emotional and crazy." I looked up finally, and the smile began to fall. I lost our baby. More tears fell, and I bit my lower lip to hold it in. "I could have lost you.." I burst out crying, my arms wrapping around him as I cried for what I almost lost, and what I had lost.

I kissed her head and rubbed circles on her back with my good hand. "But sweetheart I'm still here and I'm not going anywhere, you didn't lose anything." I heard her break more and thought that was odd. I knew something else was wrong I just knew it.

A few weeks pass and still no memory has came back. Lila was back at work and I was home still in medical leave. I decided to clean up a little because I was bored and was only aloud to do a limit amount of lifting. I went to her bedside table to put some of her things inside when I saw a little paper what was upside down. When I flipped it over and saw it was a sonogram or at least I think that's what they are. I sat on the bed and smiled. She was pregnant, we were pregnant. Then I thought why didn't she tell me. I had to have knocked her up befor the accident. That's why she has been so emotional.

I came back after a busy week, looking forward to putting my feet up and eating something other than pizza. I stopped off and picked us up some Chinese, grabbing him a 6 pack of beer and me a bottle of wine. We hadn't has sex since the accident and I needed him badly. I understood he was unable to but damn if I didn't miss it. "hey I'm home.." I called out entering our small apartment.

I smiled and walked out of our room. I noticed she had stuff in her hands. "Here let me take that you sit and relax." I wanted to help her out as much as I can with what I now know. "How was work are you tired do you need anything?"

I eyed him cautiously "well no, I'd love a glass of wine though. Work was insane, so busy and I had to take a few clients around to some houses as the agents were busy." I slipped off my shoes rubbing my feet. "how are you, are you feeling alright?" he seemed different, more helpful

I smiled. "I'm percent and wine? Are you even suppose to-". I had to stop I didn't want to tell her I knew this way. "Umm how about some juice I would like juice!" I say as I walk to the kitchen . Why would she ask for wine was she not happy about the baby. Then my flashes of baby made more sense.

"umm no, how about a cup of tea? I might take a bath later, I feel just bloated and all gross." I knew it was from my period coming soon. "what are you acting weird for? You're up to something, did you use my body wash again?"

I laughed. "No I didn't use your body wash." Man I wish she would just tell me. I got her down tea and me some juice taking it over to were she sat. "Let's just say I think I know why your so emotional and tired lately." I said with a smile. "I found something in your chore today. I couldn't be happier Lila!"

I frowned, but my frown and confusion soon turned into dread. Shit. "No.." I whispered, shaking my head. He looked so excited, that all I could do was hold myself together, trying not to let the tears spill out as they filled my eyes. "Baby no.. I'm not pregnant.. I mean.." Christ this was so hard. "I was pregnant," I said taking his hands. "We were pregnant, but you had your accident, and then at the hospital, I lost the baby that day.. I wanted to tell you but you didn't remember, and your brother, that's why he's been so werid, he knew about our baby, and was there when I lost it." I broke down crying "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I'm still not over it myself."

I stared at her. "Are you serious?" Was all I could ask. I was devastated not only that both my brother and the girl I love lied to me. Kept something like this from me. "So all my visions of this baby I kept having was one we lost?" I asked not really expecting a answer. "Fuck!" I got up and paced. "He knew and you knew? But didn't think I should know?" I was so upset. I heard her cries and felt like shit. "Shit, as pissed as I am I'm so sorry Lila." I fell to my knees in front of her. "I'm so sorry."

"no.. Please dont say your sorry, you didn't do anything wrong and your brother hates me." I sobbed "youre right, I should have told you but I didn't know how." I couldn't look at him, he must hate me. "do you want me to leave?" maybe he wanted me to get out of his apartment

I snapped my gaze to her. "No I don't want you to leave I just want no secrets ever!" I said and pulled her to me. "Don't ever leave." I may be upset but I can get over it. I held her tight. "Can we try for another baby? Not now or anytime soon but in the future?" I asked concerned she wouldn't want too.

"I want to still have a baby," I didn't know how relieved I would feel knowing he still waited that with me. I sobbed into his chest "I'm sorry, I should have told you.." I felt terrible. Hopefully one day he could forgive me.

I sighed. "Yes you should have but I get it." I pulled her back to me. "I love you, and we will get through this all and one day we will be so happy again!"

Maybe I thought to myself. "we will." I smiled leaning back "umm so am I allowed to have my wine now, or are we a sober household?" I grinned

I sighed sadly. "You can have whatever you want." I wanted to call and bitch my brother out I was so pissed at him. I moved out of her way and waited till she went to the kitchen. I pulled out there black and white sonogram I found and starred at it.

I poured out a large glass, definitely needing it when I turned and spotted him, my heart tightened in my chest as my gaze drifted to his hands and the peice of paper I was too familiar with, I pretended I hadnt seen him "so I hope you're hungry, I picked up Thai." I called out as I turned reaching for plates

I sighed and put the photo back in my pants pocket. I got up and went to the kitchen "sounds good." I said looking at her wine glass. I shook my head. I walked up behind her. "I'm sorry princess." I then kissed her shoulder to her neck pulling her back against me.
