i gave a small smile. "Nice try. It it's a surprise why don't you take the girls for a swim while I finish up and I'll let you know when it's all done." I saw she really didn't want to but did anyways. I finished cooking and setting the table nicely. I had everything ready. I called out to them. "Come get dressed dinner is just about done!" I just had to poor their drinks.

The girls were definitely going to sleep well tonight after swimming in the pool. I wrapped their towels around their bodies and dried them off, i followed and dressed after them. We came back down to the dining room and i was surprised by what he'd done. I don't remember the last time he'd ever done anything like this. "Ryder.." i was lost for words "this looks, wiat.." i got closer to the dinner table and realised what he'd made "i can't believe you remembered i love this. fuck. "I should have been there to make it for you." I put my head down. "I made the girls the fish fingers they like as well." I was terrible I should have never left but if I did what would have happen she would have really grown to hate me.

"It's ok, I didn't mean anything by it" i said quietly, "this looks really good though. thankyou" i sat down as the girls were goign mmm mmm Harper smiled big "thankyou daddy." Willow was already eating and making a mess with sauce. "You know you're going to have to show me how to make this" i smiled up at him, i missed his cooking.

i smiled. "I could but then what would you need me for?" I joked hoping she took it that way too. I laughed at the girls and willow god she was so enjoyable to watch.

"Well i'd need someone to do the dishes afterwards" i winked, "and clean her up" i laughed, pointing to Willow who gave us both a big grin "cheese."

i smiled. "I could do all of that and more." I said laughing as willow looked so happy. And Harper was smiling and eating. I looked at lily and smiled. Mouthing "thank you!" To her.

"theyre you're daughters. I wouldn't keep them from you." I wasn't that evil of a person. Harper looked up "where do you live daddy. Will you stay here with us?"

i smiled. "I'm staying at pas right now and I would love to stay with my girls but that will be in time I hope." I looked up at lily.

"in time.." I stared down at my plate. I hated that we were apart. But I guess it was the right thing to do. I needed to trust him again.

i smiled I would take the answer over any other ones well besides a right now daddy can move back in. I smiled more. "How about a movie tonight if mummy says it's okay?"

"oh you asked for it." I laughed, knowing not sure exactly what they wanted to watch. "you'll never see the end of this movie." I grinned as the girls got excited about watching tinkerbell

i smiled. "I'm sure I will love it whatever it is will be fine." They looked so excited and lily just laughed. "So as soon as daddy cleans up all the dishes then we will watch whatever you girls want."

"sounds good to me." I smiled. We finished dinner, and as he was choosing a movie with the girls I heard Marco calling out and asking why the doors were locked. "umm I'll be a moment." I said, running to go and speak with him. "it's not a good time right now-" he cut me off with a snort "Ryders in there isn't he. Jesus christ lily are you stupid. He's fucked up how many times and you always take him back." I shook my head, annoyed and hurt "hes their father. He has a right to see them.. And I asked, why would you tell him that I'm dating someone else." he just smirked "because tomorrow night your going on a date with him. I told him you'd finally agreed to dinner and a movie.. You need someone who won't leave you without a word again. Think of the girls."

i was laughing and smiling with the girls when I saw her disappear. I had the girls pick something as I heard Marco. I walked out and said. "Is that what you want lily? If it is just say the word I will understand. I won't like it at all but I get it, Marco is concerned for you but marco you lied about me to her. I never once laid a finger or let another woman lay a finger on me. For that I should clock you but winces your Lily's fronds and my girls are inside I won't." I sighed. "Lily I will see you inside I think we found a movie."

Marco scoffed "yeah I lied because I was sick if seeing her crying and thinking you were coming back for her. You always leave het pregnant."

"Marco that's not fair, and really? You lied to me which made me cry even more picturing him in bed with other women.. And you have no right to push me on dates with men I don't like. I'm not going out tomorrow or ever. So cancel it!"

"if you seriously stay with him then we can't be friends anymore lily. I'm sorry." he shrugged

I gave Ryder a sad look and said "that's fine. Because I don't want to be friends with someone who lies, and then gives me an ultimatum." I stepped inside and looked towards Marco "youre not my friend anymore so please go."

I sighed and stopped Marco. "Don't! Please I know what I did but you don't get it. I don't want her loosing you as a friend and you her because of my fuck up. I left because I had a drinking problem and didn't know how to fix it or let her help fix it. I left to get better so I can be the man she deserves. If she is welling to give me the chance then why not you? Fuck Marco! You of all should understand your dad drank and stayed and things that he started to do to your mum! You think I wanted that for her and Harper? Fuck no I left to get help and now I'm back and better and I didn't know about willow. But that night was bad had a good outcome that little girl is so happy and makes anyone smile just like her sister and mum. I'm going to prove to her and my girls I'm a good man." I shook. My head. "Please don't fuck up like me she needs you."

"Fine. But i warn you, break her heart again and I'll make her get sole custody of those kids and file for divorce." he warned. "I'll go tell Josh that you're not coming tomorrow night, he'll be upset but i think he'll live." he half smiled and looked back to Ryder "it means alot that you stepped up and helped yourself because you have no idea what you missed when you were gone."

i smiled at Marco. "I think I have a idea and I'm just glad I fixed myself no more drinking ever again but right now I'm going to watch a movie with all my girls I would invite you to join us but I think you understand!" I shook Marcos hand and watched lily as I walked back inside to see the girls.

I said goodbye to Marco, and was really surprised by how Ryder was behaving. He was different, like a side I hadn't seen before. I stood watching him with the girls as they got their blankets ready for the movie, it's almost as if he'd been here the entire time, a natural with them and they were taken with him also. Making myself known, I walked in "any room for me up there?" I smiled, as they were all cuddled up on the couch

i smiled. "Always. Willow why don't you sit on mummy's lap and Harper you can sit on my and we can all cuddle!" The girls agreed and I placed my arm around lily and willow as my other was around Harper. I felt home at that moment.

Willow passed out halfway through the movie, I knew she would. I looked over at Harper was who starting to doze off also, her eyes slowly closing as she fell asleep cuddled into his side, I hadn't realised the time, near 11pm and it was dark outside "maybe you should stay the night, it's late.." I suggested quietly, my heart racing as I awaited his response.

k smiled. "As much as I want to, I don't want to make you uncomfortable." I said yawning. I mean fuck I didn't want to leave I wanted to stay here like this forever. But she needed to learn to trust me again and me staying probably wouldn't be the best way to prove it.

I nodded, not trying to show i was dissapointed, but i get it. "It's ok.. i mean I wasn't meaning sharing a bed or anything more, it's just late that's all." i looked away, holding Willow as i stood "i should put them to bed, and get to bed myself.. can you carry Harper to her room?"

i sighed not knowing what I did wrong so I waited till we got both girls to bed once in the hall I pulled her to me. "Lily sugar what did I do or say that was wrong, I feel your upset?" I hop d it wasn't me overstepping by staying late.
