I bit my lip holding back the tears "well that's not what's been going around town.. Im sorry but you can't expect me not to think that." I turned so he wouldn't see me cry as I made him a sandwich, "it was hard not to listen to the rumers and what people would say at times." Marco had told me everytime a new woman claimed to have screwed hin. "do you want mayonnaise on yours?"

I walked up behind her. "I didn't cheat on you with any of them. If you truly don't believe me I'll take a lie detector test. I have been nothing but honest with you. I've done some shit that I'm not proud of like leaving you on our honeymoon, being way too aggressive with you that night and leaving you again without letting you know I needed help, but I did not cheat." I wrapped my arms around her. "No mayonaise."

I nodded, brushing the fallen strand of hair from my face "ok.. I believe you." blinking back the tears as I sliced his sandwich up and plated it. "I'm sorry for believing what Marco told me, I was just really hormonal with being on my own with Harper and then pregnant. I was a mess."

i pulled her to me so her back was to my chest. "I understand why you would believe them and specially Marco. He has been there for you every since my fuck. I know he hates me for hurting you again." I sighed loving her in my arms but I don't want to push her so I let go and took a step back. As we say I decided then I needed to know. "So Marco said you have a boyfriend who works another farm close by and you and the girls really like him..." She went to say something but I stopped her. "I will fight for you and the girls and I don't care to hear any details. I fucked up and I want you happy."

"well I think you need to know the details." I couldn't keep this up any longer "I'm not dating anybody, that's the last thing I need to be doing right now.. You have it all wrong, and Marco lied to you because there's never been another man in my life.." I looked up at him, sighing "I won't lie, Marco did try and get me to date and would tell me about all those other women, he said you moved on so I should to, and I did consider it but I couldn't do it." my voice a mere whisper "My heart still belongs to you."

i sighed. "I think a talk to Marco is in order." I walked over and looked at her. "My heart is yours and always has been since I first saw you that won't ever change. I loved spinning the morning with you and the girls and I'd like to make you all dinner if you'd like."

"dinner would be nice, and I'm sure they'd love to spend more time with you.." I looked around, confused for a moment "why would Marco always tell me you were with other women, and then tell you I had moved on.. Anyway, eat your lunch before you realise my cooking skills haven't changed much."

i laughed. "I always enjoyed your cooking sugar. And as far as Marco goes." I say and took a bite of my sandwich. "I'm not sure but I'm going to find out! Maybe you should help me find out maybe have some fine with him."

I thought about it "yeah I guess your right, that could work." I smiled picking up my sandwich. "my cooking has improved a little, your pa gave me all of ma's recipe books. I've been learning how to bake pies and even those cinnamon rolls, the girls love them."

i groaned. "I miss her you know." I said then ran a hand down my face to stop the tears. "I blamed myself for a long time. I hated myself for not protecting her and you. I hated myself not rob but myself. God I was a mess lily. I really can't wait till you meet my mentor he is a awesome guy."

I couldn't help but feel jealous that this guy helped my husband and not me. He didn't give me the chance to help him. "I look forward to it.." I said with a weak smile. "your ma is burried up by the old willow tree, part of where I.got Willows name from, it just felt like she was with me alot through the pregnancy." I fought back the tears. "you should have been here Ryder," I sobbed "you broke every vow we made.. Again."

i couldn't help it the tears fell. "Lily I'm so sorry, I don't know how to make it up to you but I'm going to try every day." I looked at her. I grabbed her and pulled her to my lap. "I really fucked up really bad. I can tell you over and over how sorry i am but will that help? Probably not. All I can do is not fuck up like this again.."

I held him tightly, not wanting to let him go "I missed you so much.." I cried into his chest. The smell of him, drawing me in "just don't hurt the girls.. You can hurt me but never them.

i held her tighter. "I don't want to hurt any of you. I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you and another pregnancy." I kissed her head. "Was there any complications?"

"no it all went well, I had another caesarean but mum stayed and helped me until I could do things myself." I sat on his lap, resting my head against his shoulder "have you spoken with Rob?" I asked quietly, not wanting to set him off

"no not yet, pa said he seems to be doing better." I sighed. "I just don't know if I'm ready for a talk with him. I mean he shot me." I kissed her head again. "Do you think pa can take the girls for a night soon so we can do just this talk and hold each other?"

"Rob's going well.. he and Amy share custody of their daughter" I smiled, a sligt laugh escapedd. "Actually he usually has them once a week, on thursdays, that my time to go grocery shopping and just a night off being a mum. but they love going for a sleep with grandpa." i turned my head, looking into those eyes and feeling my heart quicken "i'd like to do this though, just talk and feel you holding me."

i smiled. "Okay so we will go grocery shopping then sit and cuddle while we talk maybe go for a horse back ride too." God I missed her I love her so much I don't want to loose her.

"I'd like that.." i smiled back to him. I heard a set of footsteps running down the stairs and grinned "the girls are up."

"Mummy.. is daddy still here!!" Harper called out to him. "Please let him not go away..!"

My heart ached for them missing out on having him around "Uh, i think daddy's going to be staying awhile, he's even making us all dinner tonight." i said as Willow ran to him with her arms up "up.. dadda.. up"

i smiled and lifted her up and kissed her little head. I glanced at lily and saw all the hurt I caused and I had to find a way to erase that. "So what do you girls want for dinner?" I asked and saw Harper really thinking.

"fish fingers with sauce!" she grinned rubbing her tummy "mm I want this many" and she held her fingers up and opened and shut them meaning lots and lots.

I laughed "umm well, that's alot. But daddy was going to make something, maybe he could surprise us." I said and looked back to him.

i smiled. "Okay a surprise you want!" I tickled willow and she giggled. "She has no allergies?" I asked wanting to make sure before I cooked! "Oh and while I'm cooking mummy has to take a nice long bath and relax! While my girls help me make a surprise!"

"oh I don't know.." leaving him alone with them was a big step, I trusted him but had doubts that he's take them away from me. I noticed his smile dropped a little and I realised he knew I didn't trust him with them "I'm sorry. It's hard for me." I bit my lip, not wanting to cry in front of the girls

i nodded. "I get it." I said setting willow down. "I'll just um go see if you have everything I need for dinner." I was going to make one of mas specialities that lily loved. I turned and walked to the kitchen going threw everything and luckily enough she had
Everything and I even decided to make Harper her fish fingers.

"something smells incredible" I moaned sniffing the air as I walked by him to grab a bottle of juice "what are you making, I can't think of what it smells like" God my tummy wad definitely starving hungry
