"I took a big gulp. "You sat on my lap and pretty much begged so don't go playing victim!" I walked back into our room and threw some clothes into a bag. "Harper's crying go tend to her, I'll be gone before you come back in here!" I was pissed.

I expected him to come home that morning. He never. Not even a call. He didn't answer my calls. Days, weeks, months passed and i never heard from him. I found out i was pregnant which hurt. I even went to visit Rob in rehab but he hadn't heard from Ryder either. His Pa also confuesd by his sudden take off.. Harper turned one, and i really expected him to show.. he didn't which broke my heart. He missed out on so many things with her, and then this pregnancy too. Soon i gave birth to another baby girl who was perfect, and i named her Willow.

Willow had just turnt 2, and Harper 3. They were so cute, and it was just the three of us along with Marco who helped out also. The girls and i went for a picnic down at the lake, and we spent the day swimming and eating until it was time to go back home. They ran ahead of me as i watched them.

I had a old friend tell me about Harper as she was growing but when I returned home to find another little girl I was shocked he never mentioned this little one. I watched as the two girls ran and saw lily coming from behind. I had a lot to explain and hoped she let me. I felt like shit I was scum. I didn't know if I should approach her now or wait.

"Come on, bath time!" i chased after them, they both giggled running up the steps of the house. "Mummy we want noodles please?" Harper asked as Willow jumped up and down clapping. I smiled, loving their excitement "Alright, after the bath.. come on." i smiled follwing behind into the house.

i felt as if I would never know how much I hurt her. I walked up the steps and knocked I didn't want to just walk in.

I had just put the girls up at their little table with a bowl of noodles for them to eat when I heard someone at the door. "I think grandpa may be coming to visit.." i wasnt expecting anyone else. I went to the door with a smile across my face, and when i opened it. my smile dissapeard. I went to slam to door shut again. I didn't know what to do. I missed him so badly everyday, but he left us.

"lily please just hear me out." I said looking at her. With my hand holding the door open. "I'll come back when Harper and her friend is sleeping but we need to talk."

I laughed "Harper and her friend?" really, he had no clue. "I have nothing to say anymore, you left me.. again, after you promised you wouldn't and you did!" i couldn't be mad anymore, i was just hurt and saddened. "Why are you back, your sluts all get sick of you?" i had heard the rumers, and it broke my heart to hear he was with others.

"Why should I listen, you broke my heart again and didn't listen to anything I had to say-" I then heard Willow starting to cry and Harper saying "Don't worry, I help you." I looked at Ryder but needed to see what happened to the girls, k just walked off and found a bowl tipped over "it's ok baby, mama will help you both." I bent down and hugged her close.

mama? I walked in and closed the door watching her. Sh had another kid? The girls looked identical? I was more pissed now. Not at her but myself. She looked up. "Can I come back when they are sleeping so I can explain?" I asked knowing if she said no I was still coming.

Of course the girls were going to be excited seeing someone in the house "whos this? Do you like noodles? Ups cowboy?" Harper was asking question after question. "Harper, eat.." looking up at Ryder I nodded, trying not to show emotion "fine. Come back in An hour to talk only."

i stared at Harper she was so beautiful like her mother. I nodded. "Okay I'll be back in a hour on the dot." I looked at lily god I missed her. I turned and walked out heading to my dadas who I know would be pissed.

I tucked the girls into bed and kissed them goodnight, my stomach knotted up with nerves as I watched the clock. He'd be here soon and I was going to make it clear he couldn't take the girls from me. I had to keep strong and not fall for that smile like always. I went to the kitchen and tidied up to keep my mind busy.

Pa looked at him, shaking his head "well it's good to see you're back, but dammit I want to kick your ass boy. You hurt alot of people by taking off, lily especially.." he sighed "where were you?"

i sighed. "I deserve your ass kicking but I can't tell you till I talk to lily she deserves to know first. What I can tell you is its not what you think." I looked at the clock. "Speaking of I got to head back to Lily's so we can talk. I hugged my pa and cried a little at what I put them through. I walked back to Lily's and knocked quietly.

My heart racing as I opened the door to him, I let him in and walked quietly to the outdoor area where the fire was lit. "I don't want to wake to girls." I said softly, sitting down and looking at him. I couldn't believe he was here.

i smiled. "I understand." I sat down and sighed. "Look I want to tell you everything but I want to say it all before you say anything." She nodded and I continued. "I was in a bad place and I'm sorry. I'm so very sorry for what happened, that night I left, I should have never treated you that way. I was drunk and messed up in the head big time. I left and went to a friends house a old high school buddy that was no good. I stayed there a few days then I woke up and didn't like what I realized I done. I felt like even more shit." I looked at her. "After that I checked myself into a clinic and that's where I have been getting help I needed that I wished I could have gotten from you, from my pa. But I truly believed robs actions were my fault and my ma was my fault that I wasn't good for you or Harper. I thought about the two of you every day I wanted to call you. I wanted to let you know I love you. But the rules were strict no outside world contact. I have a sponsor who has helped a lot he went through sow thing really similar only his now ex wife won't talk to him at all took the kids and he hasn't seen them since." I started to cry. "I don't want that to happen to us, although I would understand because I keep fucking up with you. I can't make promises I can just live and hope I stop making stupid mistakes." I looked up at her and waited for her to say something.
