A Girl moves to a new town after catching her husband in bed with her sister. She's 8 months pregnant and the soon to be ex husband wants nothing to do with either of them, finds her bigger body a turn off and signs over full custody of their unborn child. Girl leaves heartbroken and moves to a new quiet town and manages to find a small beach cottage to rent off a handsome man who lives next door in a mansion.

The man who owns the cottage is often working in his home office that looks out at the beach. He's in a relationship with a woman who loves to shop and never cooks, cleans. She is desperately waiting for him to propose but something is holding him back. He can't see the girlfriend has just been living off him and only wants the money he makes until he meets his new tenant who's got his interest and realises how horrible his girlfriend actually is. The girl, soon realises she's falling for the man next door.

The man and woman start to bump into each other more and when she goes into labour early, she finds herself at his door in the middle of the night asking for a ride to the hospital where she begs him not to leave her side... He soon finds himself thinking of kids and marriage.. but not with the girl he's currently dating.

I was up feeding when I heard them coming back inside. "Sean?" I called out "everything ok? "

Brian followed me in and sat down in the office to plug in the recording. I went to find sage. "Hey angel, um we need to you see something so when your done can you come to my office please!" I walked over and kissed her. I wondered how she would take this.

I didnt have a good feeling about any of this. I finished feeding and then went into the office where I noticed Brian as well. "what's going on? Was it bad?"

I pulled a chair over and sat down patting my leg to have her sit. "Come her angel and watch." I said as she did I felt her tense all over. I whispered in her ear how sorry I was as Brian pushed play.

When the audio went silent I felt sick. "is this some kind of sick joke? " I asked getting off his lap. "why would she lie about all of that? " I shook my head not wanting to believe it. "he and I had sex, and I remember it. I was never drugged out!" I said beggining to get angry.

I looked down and then to her. "I don't know what to think I was hoping you would." I said honestly. Then Brian chipped in. "I think there is some truth to it why else would she admit to what she did at the end of the tape? She knew she was being recorded and she admitted to starting the fire. I just think she knew by telling us this she was either died or going to jail anyways for the fore so she openly admit it, if you get what i mean." I sighed more and ran my hands over my face. "Angel come here please." I just needed to hold her and tell her we would figure it out.

shaking my head as I began backing away from him "no, I need to leave." I said. I needed to go to his house and find out if what she said was true. "I'm taking Willow with me." I called out heading for the stairs.

"Shit!" I got up and ran. "Sage no!" I said sternly. "You can't do this please just sit and relax let's talk about this and make a plan for both, a plan that she is telling th truth and a plan for if she's not please!" I had to keep her here and not let her run off.

I shook my head undoing the draw "I want to know if I married an escort or not! If my sister planned it all and if o didn't have sex, then what the fuck happened to me!" I stopped and looked at him wondering something "we had sex, was I tight, or did you have blood on you afterwards?"

I remembered everything about that night. "Angel you were and still are tight. But there was no blood but not every woman bleeds after their first time." I said looking at her sadly. "And I don't think going to the house will answer those questions. I think we should talk about it and maybe Call and get the police envoled right away."

"I don't care. I'm going to the house Sean. I am going to search everything!" I said and remembered something. "He had a draw filled with tapes. I didn't see them, he just said it was boring work learning techniques." I had to go and get those tapes.

I gave a big sigh. "Let's get the cops to go with you so they know you aren't involved please!" I tried one more time.

"Fine." I groaned and finally, the reality sunk in. I burst into tears, and fell to my knees. "What if he had friends over... or what if I was a virgin when we met? I have no idea." I didn't like this one bit.

I walked over and kneeled next to her. "Angel we will figure all this out and honestly it wouldn't be so bad if you were a virgin when we met would it have been?" I said trying to pull her into the good of things.

"No it's not so bad. I just wished we were married and then had sex, and then had a baby. I guess I'm glad that you're the only man I've ever been with, if the other crazy man lied about everything. I just want to get to the bottom of it all." I said hugging him tightly.

I hugged her tight. "Let's call the police and get to the to the bottom of this." I kissed her head and rocked a little. I hated this.

He went and called the police while I packed a change of clothing and then a bag for Willow. Sean shouldn't be wrapped up in my mess and I didn't want him to be. He deserved better. I was so confused. He came back in the room, and I had tears in my eyes as I gave him a sad look. "We need to talk."

I walked over to her. "What is it? Why are you crying and why are there bags packed? Are we going somewhere?" I asked confused.

I took him by the hands and squeezed hard. "I need to leave for a little bit. I just can't.. everything is so messed up, and I need answers, so that I can move forward, that we can." I felt so horrible for doing this to him. "You can still see Willow, whenever you want, i'm not taking her from you. I just need to do this, on my own." I was crying. I really hoped he understood.

"Angel baby I don't understand, I know I can help you!" I said looking at her. Crap she hates me. She is leaving because I have caused more issues for her.

"Sean." I said more harshly than intended. "Please, baby. you need to let me go and get the answers I need. This isn't your mess. You have to let me do this on my own. What I need is to understand what happened and once I can understand that, then I can let you in completely. I feel like i'm too scared to trust you." squeezing his hands tighter. "Please just let me go."

How could I just let her go I wanted to marry her and she wants to walk away. I thought she loved me. Boy I really know how to pick them. Them make me fall and rip my heart out. I couldn't look at her. I dropped her hands without a word. I walked over to willow. I picked her up and held her close whispering how much I love her.

"I'm sorry," I knew that wasn't going to give him any comfort. "I love you, and this isn't a goodbye. I'm not breaking up with you." I needed him to understand that. After taking Willow from him, I slung the bags over my shoulder. It killed me that he wouldn't look at me. "Please don't hate me." I said through tears and walked out the door.

I watched her walk out and just stood there. A few moments later Brian came up to the room. "Dude I just saw sage leave with willow...what's going on?" I looked up and shook my head. "She left, she said she needed to think about some things." I hated myself I think I was moving to fast. "I need a drink."

"Drinking wont solve anything young man." Miss Lane scolded as she entered the room. "I love you like my own son, but you need your highnee kicked for how you handled things back there. Poor girl just had her life turned upside down, trying to fix it so you're not brought down in her mess and you ignore her completely. Tsk Tsk. There are plenty ways to break up with someone, and that young boy is not how I have been raising you!"

it broke my heart when he didn't come and say goodbye to me. But i knew for us to have a real chance in the future, I was doing the right thing. I tried calling him when i got to the city but no answer. Hopefully he still wanted me when we came back.
