A Girl moves to a new town after catching her husband in bed with her sister. She's 8 months pregnant and the soon to be ex husband wants nothing to do with either of them, finds her bigger body a turn off and signs over full custody of their unborn child. Girl leaves heartbroken and moves to a new quiet town and manages to find a small beach cottage to rent off a handsome man who lives next door in a mansion.

The man who owns the cottage is often working in his home office that looks out at the beach. He's in a relationship with a woman who loves to shop and never cooks, cleans. She is desperately waiting for him to propose but something is holding him back. He can't see the girlfriend has just been living off him and only wants the money he makes until he meets his new tenant who's got his interest and realises how horrible his girlfriend actually is. The girl, soon realises she's falling for the man next door.

The man and woman start to bump into each other more and when she goes into labour early, she finds herself at his door in the middle of the night asking for a ride to the hospital where she begs him not to leave her side... He soon finds himself thinking of kids and marriage.. but not with the girl he's currently dating.

After a while I gave in so she would leave. I sat in my office and miss lane came in and told me she was leaving. "Uh what about sage?" I asked. "She said she wasn't feeling good." I sighed. "Maybe ask and pick up what she needs please." I said as I looked out to the ocean.

I walked out and over to the cottage I knocked. "Mrs. winters!, it's me miss lane I have orders from mr Thomas to see what I can get for you!"

I went to the door and opened it. "oh that's not necessary, tell him thanks but I can't." the one thing I didn't want was him thinking was that I was desperate for help. I had to do this on my own.

i smiled. "Oh dear I can't do that he wouldn't have it. He just wants to make sure everyone is happy and I told him your weren't feeling well so if I go back he will go himself and lord knows that wouldn't be good!" I laughed. "Please mrs winters if you want give me your money and I'll get you what you need till your well enough to go on your own."

"that made me feel a little more relaxed about the whole thing. "I'll get you my list." I smiled and went to my purse and got the small grocery list with some cash. I just had the basics written down, I shouldn't be eating so much anyway. "thankyou." I smiled at her and waved her bye.

i smiled at her list not much in it. But I'll take care of that.

I couldn't sit in my office anymore. I was upset with myself for putting up with jane but what was I to do. I sat out on the deck and drank my scotch I couldn't help but wonder why sage looked so sad.

unable to sleep, I walked outside the back small deck and took of the baggy jacket then made my way onto the sand. The water was freezing and I ended up sitting on the sand watching the waves and crying silently. I hated my sister so much and I hated my husband for doing this to me. Sean's girlfriend reminded me of my sister. Spoilt and selfish. He was so kind, I didnt know how she cos treat him badly. After awhile I stood up and tried thinking of something else. My hormones were acting up again from not being touched or kissed in so long, all I wanted was to even have my hand held.

I smiled as I watched her. She was beautiful with her swollen belly. I wondered, did her husband die, did he leave her after the baby?, what is her story? I thought and then without realizing it I started to walk towards her.

I turned to walk back to the cottage when I almost knocked into someone, I blushed realising who if was. "sorry I wasn't paying attention" I said smiling up at him. "You're a very persuasive man as well as your housekeeper. She's lovely.'

I looked out on the ocean. I didn't really think it was for me to respond to what she said. "The ocean is beautiful and can get you lost." I said "sorry about jane she is off shopping so she won't be home to bother anyone."

"it's ok, and yeah it sure does" I dams looking back at the ocean. I blinked back more tears not wanting to get emotional and cry.

I looked at her. "Miss lane is a lovely person and listener if you just need someone. Although I'm busy my door is opened too." I say I hate seeing the hurt in her eyes her beautiful eyes.

"oh no I wouldn't dare put my problems in you, you seem very busy and it's ok. Just silly things that run through my mind over and over." then without thinking I asked "I dont know how to build furniture, would you help with the baby furniture when I get that?"

I looked at her. "Well miss lane is here not for just me! She is a good person so if you wanna talk or go out she will be there, and yes I can help with that." I said looking over my shoulder at my home. "Well I have to get back to work."

I nodded and felt the dread coming back on "goodbye Sean." I smiled softly at him. "it was nice to meet you." I said and made my way back up to my place

I smiled she seemed so sad I hated it I just wanted to wrap her up and hug her.  "Bye sage I'm there if you need anything and miss lane will be home shortly."  I say and walk back to my office.

I managed to get the fire going and sat down in front of it to wait for miss lane to come back. I put my clothes away in the wardrobe and brought the laptop out to search for baby items. I had nothing at all and needed to get ready.

i knocked on Mrs winters door and waited she was so sweet and I liked her all ready! I didn't hear her so I opened the door. "Mrs winters I'm sorry to just walk in but I have your food and some more things for you and I also bought your baby something!"

"oh thankyou," I smiled standing up "sorry I didn't hear you knocking." I said walking over to her "and it's just Miss, now" I said quieter as I helped take the bags to the kitchen.

i smiled and helped her out. "Well miss winters I know you didn't need some of this but I didn't think it would hurt!" I smiled and watched her. "You know I was married once. Mr Thomas saved me! My husband wasn't so nice! So if you ever wanna talk I'm here."

I looked at her and smiled sadly. "He seems like a very nice man." I sat down at the table. "I was married, and he hurt me the worst way possible. Now, it's just me and my daughter. I really cant thank you enough for helping me, seems like this town was the right place to move to."

i smiled. "This town is perfect for starting a new life! I haut wish me Thomas would find a sweet girl other than jane she is a witch!" I said with a laugh. "Shhh don't tell him I said that tho!"

I laughed at her confession. "Don't worry, secret is safe with me. She seems very high maintenance." and he seemed to be sweet and caring. Ugh, get that though out of your head.

i laughed more. "She is very and treats him poorly but he is so busy he doesn't see it. The poor man works all the time!" I looked at the time. "I should go and start his dinner! I'm just glad it will just be him tonight! Your welcome to join dear!"

"I don't want to intrude, but it's better than sitting here thinking. Only if you're sure he wont mind. I don't want him getting annoyed with me already," i said nervously. I couldn't help feel excited at the thought of seeing him again though.

i smiled. "He will enjoy it too dear seeing as jane only graces herself when she wants and it's usually three times a month. So come over in about a hour or sooner if you'd like to help me!"


I sat at my office wanting to forget the fight with jane but it was stuck in my head she was so unbelievable and it bothered me that she wasn't wanting to spend time with me but eager to tell sage that I was her fiancé.
