A Girl moves to a new town after catching her husband in bed with her sister. She's 8 months pregnant and the soon to be ex husband wants nothing to do with either of them, finds her bigger body a turn off and signs over full custody of their unborn child. Girl leaves heartbroken and moves to a new quiet town and manages to find a small beach cottage to rent off a handsome man who lives next door in a mansion.

The man who owns the cottage is often working in his home office that looks out at the beach. He's in a relationship with a woman who loves to shop and never cooks, cleans. She is desperately waiting for him to propose but something is holding him back. He can't see the girlfriend has just been living off him and only wants the money he makes until he meets his new tenant who's got his interest and realises how horrible his girlfriend actually is. The girl, soon realises she's falling for the man next door.

The man and woman start to bump into each other more and when she goes into labour early, she finds herself at his door in the middle of the night asking for a ride to the hospital where she begs him not to leave her side... He soon finds himself thinking of kids and marriage.. but not with the girl he's currently dating.

I smiled. "Okay that's fine I have my work if I can let myself concentrate on it and not willow!" I glanced at her and smiled more. "But if I come off as annoying let me know and I'll back off."

"youre anything but annoying," I laughed. "I need to call my parents but I don't really want to." they wouldn't visit, they were so mad abou the divorce and me taking off.

"Then don't yet. Wait till your ready!" I said pulling my notebook out and typing away. "Do you need anything?" I was so impressed with this woman.

"no I'm just going to lay and stare at Willow," I smiled at him. I couldn't believe he was actually staying. A couple days later they discharged me from the hospital and he drove us back. He'd been so great and I started to feel attached, it was going to be hard when he went back to his house. When he laid Willow down in her bed I turned the monitor on and looked up at him "I hope she keeps her good sleeping up." I whisper laughed "you'll probably sleep for days as soon as your head hits the pillow."

I smiled. I doubt that I'm going to miss hearing little willows crus for food in the middle of the night." I put my number on a piece of paper. "Here keep
This and if you need time to sleep I'll come sit with her." I smiled. I needed to shower and dress for a meeting. "I gotta get to my meeting but I'll be home after that. Miss lane is there if you need her too!"

"I will do." I said walking him to the door. "thanks again." I smiled and once he left I felt slightly empty. I shouldn't feel this way and put it down to hormones. Calling my parents, I told them I had the baby and they werent impressed and said I needed to tell Tim but that wasn't going to happen. He made it clear, this child was definitely not his.

After my meeting I went straight to see willow and sage. I knocked quietly hoping she would hear once she opened the door I smiled. "Sorry I couldn't resist can I see her?"

I smiled when I heard a little cry "I think someone answered that for herself, you can get her up." I said definitely not expecting to see him so soon again. "how was your meeting?" I asked.

"Boring!" I said walking over to willow. "Hey princess!" I said kissing her lightly. "How has it been being here?"

I sat on the sofa when he walked out with her and had a coffee for him on the table "she slept most the time, and I called my family. They're not coming to visit any time soon, it's probably for the best. I don't need their negativity around."

I gave a small smile. "Well I thought about taking off a couple weeks to help you but only if you want?" I said not wanted to over step but I couldn't stop thinking of this little girl in my arms and her mummy too.

I raised a brow, "the man who always works is going to take a break?" I asked as a smile grew more over my face "I'd love your help, since I'm extremely clueless and you're so good with her. I'd be crazy not to accept." wad I flirting with him? Oh god I felt like a schoolgirl with a crush.

"Good because I'm staying on this couch tonight I'm tired!" I said laughing at her shocked face. I wouldn't mind but I was only teasing.

"You cant sleep on the couch, you would be so uncomfortable and I'd feel awful." I didn't know if he was kidding or not.

I looked at her. "I was kidding and why not I have before actually the night you went into labour I was sleeping on the couch!" I winked. "It's a good thing to because if I was in bed it would have been miss lane behind you!"

my cheeks flushed remembering that "True, you were thrown in the deep end there. You did calm my nerves. I probably would have given birth here if I hadn't came over."

"Well I'm glad you came over and scared the hell out of me!" I said with a smile as willow turned her head side to side looking for food. "I think she is hungry!" I said and thought so am I and damn I'm jealous of this baby for being able to suck on those.

I wasn't nervous about feeding anymore in front of him. He'd watched me in labour and spent the last three days with me. I sat back as she fed and lookee up at him "have you heard from her at all?" I referred to Jane. Wondering if she called him yet.

I laughed this woman feeding her child and she asks about my soon to be ex. "Nope I won't she never comes to me unless she needs something. Last I heard Brian said she was hanging all over her ex at the bar the other night again." I sighed. I needed to call her and tell her it was over. Brian has told me this for years.

"I'm sorry," I smiled sadly. "her loss in the end." I said and changed the subject for him. "so you're really going to hang with us and not work?" I smiled

I smiled. "Sure why not. I need a mini vacation anyways and what better way to spend it with you two." I said then realized I added her into the equation. I smiled at her with a small blush.

"well I'm glad, although you might get bored with me, I'm happy being at home and not doing much at all." I said a little embarrassed that I didn't do alot socially. "then again, you seem right at home with her on your chest and relaxing."

I smiled. "It's crazy really I knew I would want kids but she really mad me realize just how much I want this." I said and kissed her little head. "Should I get miss lane to cook something. You should rest."

"seems as though miss Lane cooked already, my freezer and fridge is packed with premade meals and groceries." I smiled up at him. "I know what you mean though, she makes me want more."

"Yeah how many more?" I asked knowing this was a personal question but had too. "I'm a only child so I would want at least two but four would be nice too." I said adjusting willow to get my vibrating phone a message from Brian telling me he was at my house. I typed back cottage. And looked up at sage.
