Lani who lost her parents thinks finding love is important and goes through school to achieve two things one getting her degree and two finding love.

(Male)  hates life and things it should be all about fun.  He knows his life could be short due to his father. he lost him at a young age due to a disease he too could have but is not sure if he wants to take the test that well tell him all.

"if it was a pain for me id have left down here," I said wrapping my arm around her back to lead her inside the apartment complex.

i walked inside once he opened the door. Surprisingly it was clean. I sat down next to the window and shivered. I was so cold. I looked up and saw him looking at me.

"you want a blanket?" I asked but got one for her anyway then turned the heating up. "I uh could make you a hot drink?" I suggested not knowing what to do. I'd never had a.girl in here before and it made me nervous.

i took the blanket. "Thanks this will be fine." I said he looked nervous. I looked back outside and nothing. I turned and he was still just standing there. "Is my being here making you nervous?"

"that obvious?" I laughed and moved to sit down. "sorry just don't have girls over that's all." I said looking back at her. God she was beautiful sitting there. "don't move." I said as I grabbed my pencils and sketchpad. I had to draw this.

i didn't know what do so I sat there as he moved about. I was impressed that he started to draw. "Am I giving you inspiration!" I giggled. I most likely looked a hot mess.

I glanced up at her "sorry but you sitting in the darkness, the way the moon is glowing and hitting your face. I can't not draw, not even a photo would do you justice right now." I smiled at her.

i blushed at his words. I heard a car honk and was a little upset that he showed up now. "That's Dylan." I said not moving. I did t want to move I wanted him to finish.

"oh." I said, he'd arrived sooner than I thought. "I can drive you home tomorrow morning if you wanted? I do have a spare room?"

i smiled "I couldn't do that to you. I have a early class and that would mean you would have to get up really early." I said not wanting to leave though.

"I'm up early anyway, it's no problem I swear. I'd uh really like to finish drawing if you wanted me too?" fuck maybe she thought I was some creep

i smiled. "Umm okay but I need to tell Dylan somehow! But I can't move." God what was I doing.

I chuckled "wait here, don't move." I got up and raced down to get cousin. I told him she passed out on the couch and I'd be taking her to classes. I then raced back up inside and found her sitting there still. "Ok. I'll try hurry it up so you can get some sleep."

i tried not to yawn. But as he finished I couldn't help it. I stretched and yawned as I saw him still starring at the picture.

"I'll finish it off tomorrow but looks good." I smiled and put the book down. "sorry for taking ages, I'll show you the spare." I said walking towards a door off the living room

"Matt can I see what you've done so far?" I said not moving from my spot.

I scratched the back of my neck nervously "uh sure. It's not done yet." I walked back over and picked the book up to globe to her

i opened it and looked at it in all. "Oh my gosh Matt! This is so good." I said looking at all the details. I was do impressed.0

"thanks." I felt open to her and it was confusing me. Taking the book back I tossed it back on the couch "it'll be finished later. Let's get you in bed"

i smiled and owed him. I looked at the bed and my clothes. But didn't care I was tired. I laid down and watched him walk out. I fell asleep instantly and woke some time later screaming about the nightmare I was having.

I thought she was being attacked and ran into the spare room with only my tight boxers on. Turning the light on I realised she was dreaming and quickly got into the bed. I pulled her close and gently rocked her to sleep like what had happened to me. "its ok." I whispered softly.

i laid in his arms and felt comfortable enough to fall back asleep. When I woke up later it was light out and I was in her embrace but didn't know the time. I was sure I missed my classes as I usually do after a nightmare.

I felt her stir and opened my eyes. "hey" I yawned covering my mouth "I think it's past your first class, sorry." I said softly and still holding her

i smiled. "It's okay I would have missed it anyways since I had a nightmare." I sighed remembering everything about it. "Thank you for helping me through it."

"you get them often?" I asked now laying on my back. "you screaming was pretty bad, I thought someone was in attacking you."
