i looked at him and grinned. I stripped down to my bikini and took off good thing I only had sandals and a dress. I ran as fast as I could laughing. I was so thank for him being here right now.

I raced up behind her and picked her up by the waist. Holding her in my arms as I ran into the cold water "ah I think it's a tie! " I smirked letting her down slowly.

i smirked. "You cheated you on me a burger, fries and a shake!" I said looking at him as he still had his arms around me.

"fries too? Damn I think you're pushing it there, add icecream and you've got a deal." I said against her ear and not meaning to. "there isn't any sharks out here right? " I asked keeping her close against me. She felt nice in my arms. Wait what?

"ice cream and a shake! Mmmmmm". I pretended to be in thought. "Deal!" I said laughing. "Yes there are sharks in here! Why you scared?"

I laughed "no, not enough time in the day to be scared. Let's go out deeper before my legs freeze off though."

i looked at him there was something different something sad. He let go of me and I felt colder. We swam out and I found myself wondering more about him. "So what's your story? Do you have any brothers or sisters?"

"no, only child. My dad died last year and mum lives a bit out of town. I try to visit once a month." I said smiling at the thought of her. I dipped down lower into water and watched her swim about.

i new the feeling of loosing someone well not just someone and I knew he didn't need a I'm sorry. "What do you like to do besides draw! And what was you drawing earlier?" I was now close to him but not too close.

A smirk appeared "well that's a secret." I moved a little closer to her, our faces almost touching. "and I normally drink if I'm not drawing."

i frowned at that. "I see." I say getting to close and his party ways and drinking I know I can't get any closer. "We should go." I say but don't move.

I nodded keeping my eyes on her. "we should, I do owe you a burger shake and icecream." I said more huskier and pulled her close against me when a wave came through us.

"and fries!" I laughed. And looked at him. We were close enough that when I spoke my lips almost grazed his. It was dangerous.

My hands around her hips tightened and I pulled her closer as I kept my eyes on hers "with ketchup." I whispered and then kissed her softly.

the kiss was light and soft. Nothing dangerous about it but I knew there was no way we would work if he drank. The kiss ended and I shivered. Why did he kiss me? Why did I give him back maybe I should just drive him home and get a cab home. I looked at him and gave a small smile. I had no words to say.

"come on im hungry, let's head out before you freeze." I couldn't believe I kissed her. I never kiss girls like that. Ever.

i smiled "yeah umm maybe a rain check on food." I looked at my watch and smiled "it's late and I have a early class tomorrow plus you should get him and before you get sick." I said trying to make it sound legit.

I just looked at her, "yeah sure. You need me to drop you off anywhere?" I asked walking back to shore. I had no idea what I'd done and kinda felt like shit

i smiled. "How about I take you home since you were drinking then I can get a cab back to mine. I don't want you driving even with a little alcohol in your system, hope you don't mind!" I say seeing his regret in kissing me.

i drove and listened to him tell me. As we got there I got out and handed him his keys. "Thanks for tonight it helped more than what tes had planned." I kissed his cheek and smiled. I pulled my phone out and called my cousin. "Hey can you come get me I'm at a friends and I need a ride home." I said and then smiled at Matt standing there. I gave Dylan the address and hung up. "My cousin will be here in about 20 minutes."

"you want me to stay out here with you? It's pretty late." I said looking around the street. "and you know my place is always open if you want to stop by for some no thinking" I smiled at her.

i smiled. "Thanks I would like that but I'm freezing so I know you are too so go in get warm I'll be okay." I said shivering.

I laughed "come on, wait inside and you can watch from the window to see when your cousin arrives." I said not buying her story at all now
