Lani who lost her parents thinks finding love is important and goes through school to achieve two things one getting her degree and two finding love.

(Male)  hates life and things it should be all about fun.  He knows his life could be short due to his father. he lost him at a young age due to a disease he too could have but is not sure if he wants to take the test that well tell him all.

I turned up to the party and grabbed a drink. Doing a lap around the house I then checked out the women and found a couple that wanted to go fuck now. Grinning I shook my head "find me later in your still interested." I winked and headed out back.

we were walking around out back and I was laughing at some of the idiots dancing around. I couldn't help it I laughed hard and my friend tes just looked at me. Then she nodded and I saw him. I just had to look away.

Tossing another can in the bin I pushed the girl off my lap who was getting too attached and went to take a leak. On the way back I noticed English girl made my way over. "See you came out. Let me guess, you'd prefer to be in the water right now?"

i glanced. "How did you know?" I smiled and looked around. "I'm not a party person so I never come to any but tes brought me."

"Yeah she's usually around at them. Theyre alright when you need a reason to get drunk and not think." I gave her a smirk. "You want to get out of here then? and I don't meant that in a creepy sleazy way." I said with a grin.

i smiled. "Sure but I don't drink so don't even try mister!" I said not even knowing the guys name but I saw a few girls give me dirty looks and laughed.

I let out a laugh. "Yeah don't worry, I won't try anything. You're sober right? are you able to drive my car?" I aksed handing the keys for the black audi over.

i laughed. "I don't drink so yeah I'm sober!" I said walking with him. "So what's your name?" I asked as we made it to his car.

"Matt, you? in my head I just call you English girl" I laughed as we walked to the car. I grabbed her arm and pulled her in another way to the car when I seen the clingy chick watching.

i looked at him and laughed. "You okay Matt? And I'm lani!" I said thinking in my head that I shouldn't be with him because he doesn't seem like the relationship type but I was drawn to him.

"I'm good," I grinned and pointed to my car. "Drive somewhere where you want to go."

i smiled that's easy. "The beach it is then." I was so glad I had my suit. "Do you have your suit?"

"I have boxers on. Good enough for me, just swimming though right?" I asked, I had no idea how to surf and I wasn't trying.

i laughed. "Yes just swimming too dark for a newbie to surf plus I don't have my board!" I said shaking my head. "So was that a ex or something?" I asked not knowing why I asked.

I gave her an odd look but realised she must have seen that girl. "Nah, more like stalker." I sighed running a hand through my hair. "some girls get too attached when they're told no."

i smiled. "Kind of sounds like tes!" I giggled. "Might wanna warn your mates!" I drove to my favorite spot and parked. "It's kind of a walk to the beach hope you don't mind!"

Nah fresh airs good for the lungs." and mind I thought to myself. "how long you been surfing for? " I asked as we started walking

i smiled at the thought. "My dad was a professional and taught all of us kids my youngest brother and I were the only ones to take to it. I was about 2 when I got on my first but after everything I stopped for a while till I came our here."

"after everything?" I asked looking at her, for some reason I wanted to know more about her

i sighed. "I'd rather not talk about it, that's why I'm out tonight remember se wise person said to go out be around friends!" I smirked knowing he knew I was talking about him. "It's just hard for me to talk about still."

"understand completely. And yeah I am pretty wise," I grinned. "what are you studying at school? Marine biology or something to do with the ocean?" I changed the subject so she didn't feel uncomfortable

i smiled. "I haven't decided really. I am just taking the basics for now." I said looking over at him. "What about you Matt?"

"I think I'll end up finishing in art." if I remembered how to draw by then. "your friend seems more into parties than you, you just dont enjoy them?" I was curious, she was the opposite of other girls around here.

i sighed everything ended up back to my family. I looked at him as a single tear fell. "My brother and I was at a party and we kinda got drunk. We called our parents and they plus my little brother came to get us." I stopped walking as I saw the beach. "When we left so did another person and they hit us. My mum, big brother and dad died instantly where as my little brother died at the hospital." I didn't look at him I just stared at the ocean wanting to run to it. "So I don't drink and I don't really do parties."

Well shit I hadn't expected that. "uh I'm sorry, that really is awful." I looked and noticed her staring at the ocean so I began to strip my clothes off "last one in buys burgers and shakes!"
