Johnathon is at a club with business friends having a couple of drinks in the VIP section.. He's a workaholic, never dates and doesn't have time for women. He goes over to the bar to order another round of drinks.. But someone bumps into him on his way..

Mia is dragged out with her friends celebrating her birthday, she's gorgeous and but very innocent. After getting into the VIP with her friends. She spots her half brother and panics, gets up and tries to find a way out but bumps into a hot business man, she then grabs him and kisses him as the brother loses track of her and walks away.. She gets all embarrassed and tells him that she's sorry, taking off back to her place. Leaving Johnathon wondering who she was and wanting to know more about the mystery woman who kissed him.

Her family is rich. Her mother died when she was young and father remarried an awful woman, she has one half brother and half sister. The brother gropes her and makes sexual remarks to her, and the half sister is a bitch. She's never acknowledged publicly as her fathers child, always shunned of family of events. The dad doesn't notice her unhappiness so Mia just keeps to herself and studies hard, determined not to use the money her father throws at her each week to keep her happy and out of his way.

At a charity event Mia and Johnathon bump into each other again. Both attending with their families and without dates they're all seated at the same table and beside each other.. will the kiss come up? or is it long forgotten.

I looked at her parents and sighed "you don't have to live like that. Its not fair"

"probably not, but I don't really have a say in it. When Dad re married she wanted her kids the centre of his world. I don't really see them, I'm over  the other side of the estate in my own place until I leave. " I ran a hand through my hair, moving it to the side, "enough about me, what about you Mr Queen?" i asked, looking up as my phone vibrated, I knew who if was from without checking it, I could feel his stare boring into my skull from two seats down.

[Demona]

I smiled "well unlike you, my whole life is on the tabloids" i looked at the doorway as i saw one of my exes. i smirked when she saw me and rushed over to me, without warning she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek "I'll need you to take me home later, and i'll invite you in" she whispered sexily in my ear and bit it gently before she left. i didn't even have the chance to say no. i chuckled looking at her as she sat at her table.

I didn't say anything. He was obviously one of those kinds of guys. I just smiled and looked back at my phone. Reading the message and feeling sick to my stomach. I put it away, "I'll be back soon." I mumbled and stood up, walking to the door to go outside on the balcony. I needed fresh air.

[Demona]

I wanted to follow her but her step sister started talking to me and took Mia's seat. i didn't want to be rude so i kept up with the conversation. until diner was served.

i walked back in and noticed my seat was taken. I didn't want to sit next to him. I was so annoyed, I said nothing and just sat down. My sister eating my chicken and I looked at the bowl of pasta with peanuts through it. She knew I was allergic. "Dad I think I might leave," I said quietly. Sister grinned "great idea, see you."

[Demona]

I glared at her sister and looked at her father "don't worry Mr. Stone, i'll take her home" i said wiping my mouth and getting up. i looked at my father who nodded. "Come on Mia"

i was so nervous as I stood and walked beside him. "You don't have to, you didn't finish eating," I said quietly, my heart pounding so hard right now.

[Demona]

i said nothing until we were in my car "I wasn't so hungry and i hate those kind of events" i started the car and drove silently "So, um why is your step sister such a bitch to you?"

[melbender]

I shrugged "no idea really. I'm not like her, she's into all these kinds of things and her main goal is to get herself a cashed up husband so she doesn't have to work." I sighed "uh if you don't mind, can you go through a burger drive thru?" I asked a little embarrassed.

[Demona]

I smiled and took a turn so i could drive to a burger place. once we were there i parked the car and looked at her "How about we eat our burgers inside? better than take them through the drive thru don't you think?"

[melbender]

"you don't think we're a little too dressed up?" I laughed looking from me to him. "Ok let's go and eat in there," I didn't know why I was so nervous around him or what I was feeling in the out of my stomach.

[Demona]

i laughed and took off my tie and blazer, i unbuttoned the first two buttons "I'm not too dressed up anymore, and you look gorgeous" i opened my door and went to open hers

[melbender]

"Thankyou," I said as I got out of the car. "I don't want to keep you from your other plans tonight, if you're needing to leave then you can go," I said as we walked across the road.

[Demona]

i stopped walking and looked at her "okay so first of all if i didn't want to be here i wouldn't be. and second of all i have no plans at least not that i know of"

[melbender]

i was a little confused. I thought he was meeting with that woman. I just nodded slowly "ok well let's go eat then, you can tell me about your business since I know nothing of who you are but you seen to have the ladies drooling."

[Demona]

"They don't drool because of the business trust me" i chuckled and opened the door for her "After you my lady"

[melbender]

well i didn't think they'd be interested in what you do, but I want want to know about your job if you want to tell me?" I asked smiling "thanks, such a gentleman." I knew I was blushing.

[Demona]

we tool a table after ordering and i sat across from her "we work in many things and one of them is importation and exportation, that's where i am"

[melbender]

"interesting," I smiled back at him. "Did you start the company yourself or if it something your father started and you now work as a family?" I asked interested.

[Demona]

"My father started Queen consolidate and when i graduated i worked for him at first and now i have Queen industries that is mine i have no partners neither a board to answer to. but i still work a bit with my father"

[melbender]

"you've done extremely well for yourself then," I gave him a smile. "I worked for my father for a few years but it's not something I enjoyed," knowing all his dirty and fraud ways were something I didn't want to be apart of.

[Demona]

"That's good it means you have some experience" i smiled and went to get our burgers "so, why did you think i had plans tonight?"

[melbender]

I felt my cheeks flame a little. "I just heard that girl say shed let you in, I just assumed you were going out after," god I was embarrassed.

[Demona]

I laughed hard and shook my head "she's an ex. I'd never have a one night stand with an ex it always leads to drama and i don't have time for this"
