I heard the phone ringing vaguely and Rick reached into my bra and snatched it out. Looking at me as my eyes closed and opened after my head hit the window, My head hurt all over again and Rick just smirked as he ended the call.

I couldn't stop laughing, "Yeah like 18 and counting kids? as many as we can possibly have? just remember who's body is giving birth my dear, but I love the idea of making the babies with you."

i grinned. "I'll keep knocking you up till you tell me to stop beautiful!" I continued driving till we got home. "By the way do you want to start building a new house?"

"Do you think it could be done before the babies are born? I love the house you've already built but it's going to get cramped and we need a yard." I sat down on the couch and pulled out the photos that Tanner had yet to see, "want to see your newest child?" I asked making him stop walking and turn to face me.

"you have pictures?" I asked and then smiled. "Of course I wanna see." I sat next to her and looked at the photos. They looked so tiny. "And I will call around and see what I can do about a house."

I lent over and kissed his cheek. "thankyou baby, I love you so much. let's keep the fourth baby a secret until he or she's born?" I suggested.

i smiled. "Sure if that's what you want. I'm going to go make some calls. You should start thinking of what all you want in the new house!" I kissed her lightly and got up.

"Really?" I asked surprised. Wow this was going to be fun. I stood and grabbed the laptop and then started looking for ideas. Tanner was on the phone in his office. I suddenly felt bad. Id just come into his life with nothing and now I was pregnant with quads and he had to build a new house and take care of us all. I sighed and went into the room and sat on his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck while he talked.

i was talking to my builder as Char sat on my lap. I was deeply in love and could tell something was wrong. I told him to come over tomorrow and we will talk more. I hung up the phone and pulled her close. "Beautiful what's wrong?" I asked rubbing circles on her back.

I nuzzled into his side, "You know I would never try and trap you or anything, I mean you like this house and now we're having four babies. I feel bad that you've got to change your whole life around for me now."

i smiled. "It's for us and I love it." I pulled her closer.



The next few months flew by fast. Things at work were crazy and very stressful. I didn't know how to handle the situation and I didn't want to stress Char out so I kept it all to myself. Tonight was crazy I had called Char to let her know I was going to be late again. She didn't seem happy lately at all. I felt bad. But I needed to relax before going home or she would know something was up. I stopped at the bar and had some drinks, a few of the workers went too. I got home late and went straight to bed.

I woke up horny yet again, I needed sex badly and was going to surprise Tanner this morning. I rolled over and couldn't believe it when I seen the bed empty. It'd been so long since we'd last made love. I slowly got up out of bed and walked to the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and lifted my shirt to rub some lotion over my very swollen tummy, Tanner never even touched my belly often. I showered and dressed and then headed into the bakery to work. I had been working for a few hours a day just to try and distract myself from everything at home.. I was going to try get laid tonight. I put on some sexy lingerie and kept my hair out and went up to bed to wait for him.. hours passed and I fell asleep.

I got home late around 3 in the morning. I saw char sleeping in bed looking beautiful. I felt bad for not letting her know what was going on. I climbed into bed and passed out.

A few more days passed and nothing had changed. But all the negativity was pushed out of my head as today we'd been together for One year and even though he'd hurt me badly when he missed our doctors appointment yesterday I decided not to bring it up, and complain. I would surprise him about the exciting news. He was due home in ten minutes and I had the table candlelit and everything set up nicely.

today was a special day and I was excited to get home. I was suppose to be there all ready but I got a disturbing phone call as I was leaving and decided to stop and get a drink.


our plan was moving smoothly as I knocked on tanner and chars door and waited for char to open it.

I pushed what was left on my plate and sighed, yes I was pregnant and ate already since he was an hour late. I finished putting away the dishes and had just blown out the candles when there was a knock on the door. I walked over, rubbing my stomach, these four were really kicking tonight. Another thing he missed out on. I opened it up to see a woman standing there giving me a sad smile. "Can I help you?" I asked her confused.

"sadly yes are you Charlotte cook?" Char nodded. "Well I hate to tell you this but your husband has been lying to you. You see we have been seeing each other, and well I don't know how to say this but here look." I pulled the sonogram out and showed her the picture of David (?) and my baby.

I held the photo in my shaking hands and fought hard not to kick this woman's ass. I looked at the date, 9 weeks pregnant. He's been acting so distant and we hadn't had sex in months. Oh god he was having an affair this whole time. "Thankyou for fucking my husband." I hissed and grabbed the keys from the table beside me and my bag and slammed the door shut. I pushed past her and headed to the car. He was about to have his angry wife blow up on him at work.

"where are you going?" I yelled after her I knew exactly where she was going but he wasn't there and I needed to let her know where he was. I knew he would be wasted by now. "Look if your heading to work he won't be there. He has been going to Lucky's after work and sometimes before work was even over." I added.



I was beyond drunk by now. I'm surprised the bartender didn't cut me off yet.

I stopped walking and turned back to her, "He's getting drunk every day?" I asked her. I felt like she slapped me in the face. He knew how much I hated him getting drunk.

i shook my head yes. "It's just he has been under so much stress lately you know, I'm sure he has told you about work and stuff."

I twiddled my fingers and shook my head. "what do you mean, stop making things up!" I didn't like that he talked to her and not me. I didn't even notice he was stressed, he was never around.

"I'm not making anything up. Look just go to Lucky's he will be there."

I got into the car and drove to the bar. It was busy and I could hear loud laughter and a voice in particular ordering another round of shots. He was so drunk, almost legless. I got a few odd looks as I walked in, being pregnant and in a bar at 11pm didn't look too good. I walked over to Tanner who was with a group of men and some slutty women, "Let's go home." I said quietly as I put my hand on his.

i was drunk but I new that voice, shit I already hurt her so much and now she is seeing me at my worse. "How did you know I was here?" I slurred.
