One other survived, if that's what you'd call it. She was paralyzed from the waist down. Now she needs therapy and pick me up. Will thee new kid be any good?

I noticed she had left her bag placed on top of the table , which meant she would eventually come back to the classroom.

I sighed and just tried to catch my breath. I looked at the time every few minutes. I came back with 20 minutes left because it took me some time to calm down. Once I was at my seat I just put my head on my arms and stayed quiet.

"Are you ok?" I managed to ask , aware she would be likely to give me a rude answer, especially since we were not friends or anything.
