Her country is slowly following apart. So will she go to the home she never knew? And she learns a secret that her parents didn't know, she is a fea.

I laid back and smiled at him. He lays down and I curled into him.

I fall asleep as well. As we slept the egg was still until early morning. Atsunrise there was a crcracking sound and thee egg broke. The dragon climbed out and looked for me. It found me and figured out it's own way on the bed and got under my arm. I woke feeling it wriggling around as I held it. I stared at the tiny thing. "Awh you're so cute!" I smiled.

As soon as it touches your arm you feel a slight burning sensation and a mark of a dragon appears where she touched you a.d drako humms slightly as he watches.all that goes on and she.growls alittle.in herthroat trying to.talk to you but she cannot yet project her thiughts into.your head. And i stay asleep thru all.this

I pet her head. "It's OK buddy. We'll get it," I hug her. She was pretty, "you're really adorable," I said. I had barely noticed the mark.

I slowly wake.up.to.the sound of.your voice and look at you concerned. "you ok ana?" I asked not realizing that the dragon hatched.

"I was talking to her." I said and moved so he could see her. "She woke me up." I smiled as I let her go to him.

I smile as she growls a couple.times noing shes trying.to.talk to.us and i gently scratch under her chin with a finger against the soft skin there and we both hear her purring loudly. "what are you gana call her?" I asked curiously

"I don't know. Maybe the color of her skin, it is pretty." I said.

I smiled as i look at the black scales but with a hint of.gold in them and i smile. "shes gana be a beauty when shes in the skys." I say with a smile and ring for a.servant and danyelle comes knocking softly before she enters. "danyelle can you please.get us a few strips of.dried beef from the.kitchen to.feed this.little.one.here." She nods.sleepily and quickly heads off.to.the kitchen and i smile.as.she curls.into a little.circle.but still quite aware of everything around her laying in.my lap

"I am glad she likes you. I was a little worried she wouldn't." I said.

I smiled softly as.danyelle.the.servant comes back.and softly knocks before entering and hands.me the bag.of.beef. And i.smile as.she perks.her head up at the.smell and i slowly feed her letting her finish a piece at a time.

"Well she certainly loves you now," I smiled.

I smiled.as.she.finished the hole.back.and curls.in.my lap and falls asleep a.d we hear a light cooing noise.from.her as she sleeps.fitfully. Danyelle watches with great interest at the baby dragon but quickly wprks on picking up.the eggshell pieces.

I looked at Danyelle. If she was awake I would offer to let her pet her. Then I thought of a name. "I think Lyra is perfect for her."

"sounds good to.me" i say and smile as i rest my hand on her back. Lyra sleeps thru it all for a good few hours before.slowly waking up. Yawning big.

"Good morning," I smiled at her.

She yawns again as she looks around sleepily and i smile.skftly as she stretches.like.a.cat and shakes her.head lightly. Growling as she does trying to.talk to.us.again and then she.spots.sumthin in the one corner and pounces off the bed and then pounces on a mouse and eats.it with the tail sticking out of.her mouth.

I smiled and giggled at her.

I laughed as she.finished the mouse off and burps then climbs up the bed again to.sit on the bed watching.us curiously abd by this.time danyelle is back but scared of.the.little.dragon.

I looked at Danyelle. "Are you okay?" I asked as I reached out to pet Lyra.

He glances.nerviously at lyra but nods and i smile.softly "its ok to admit your scared danyelle" i say as.lyra growls in response to.you petting her.

I smiled at her. "Give her a pet," I said as I picked her up and held her-

Dany hesitently reaches out and softly pets lyra and lyra growls and grunts still.trying to.talk to.us and drako puffs gently "she wants water." Drako says and i.smile as dany pulls away after.a.moment or.2. "i have to admit she is.cute but its.hard.to.immagine.that shel grow to.be.that as big as drako." Dany says.hesitently
