I looked away. "It's already a little too late. I've had to make deals with people, and I'm lucky the leader likes me. He gave me guards because he has 'dibs' when I'm 18 on me, no one is allowed to touch his diamond. He gets mad when I'm around another guy, alone," I said.

"Daniel Ryder," I said as I watched him. I was really worried about him now. This man had threatened to act sooner when my dad was here when he defied him. "He said if anyone says otherwise he'll lock my door and have his way with me that second," I looked away.

I stared at him. He had to say again before I got up and went to my phone in my room. I called my brother feeling scared and trying not to cry, but that failed so I just cried as I told him to come home, which made him hurry to get here.

As soon as her brother got here I told him what was going on in another room away from you. " I just want what's best for her so I'm going to go take care of this and I'm sorry but if your father is here he's there he's good as gone as well !" I say anger sweeping through out my body. He sighed. Then turned to the opposite door to the one he left. "You can come out now." He said. I walked in having heard everything. He opened his arms and I hugged him. Whether they liked it or not it, I heard every word.

I drove around like a manic to find him. Going to every dealer to every hide out and stake out that I know of. I was so pissed and let down when I couldn't find him I ended up in his moms old dinner. I have no idea how she ended up with a son like him she's so sweet and caring and he's just the opposite. " hi Mary, can I get a coffee ? Please" I asked she nodded and come over with a cup and the pot in hand "what's wrong dear?" I sake me head and hold my cup tight "your son is a hard man to find .." I say not giveing a reason why. "Your not getting into that little boy band or what ever it is he has are you ? He's going to make you no good just like him. He used to be such a good kid but something happend when he was away for collage and ever since he's not the same " she sighs and picks up the phone soaking a number " where are you ?" She said it to the phone "okay be safe " and hung up. I tryed to ignore her because it was nun of my business but it was kinda hard to. "Go to the abandoned hotel and that's where you will find him Hun I hope that helped." She said like it was nothing when really that just made everything better i pull out a 20 and do to put it on the counter when she shook her head at me " no no I don't want your money " she said and walked off. I roll my eyes and shake my head leaving it on the counter anyways. I walk out and drive to the old hotel.

I sat on my bed, hoping he would somehow give me a hint that he was okay. I sat there for hours not moving. My brother brought food to me that dinner and I barely touched it because I was afraid. I kept waiting for him.

My brother started asking me to get up and do something, to eat. I rrefused to eat until he called me, or any sign that he was alive. If he didn't call then I wouldn't eat until I heard he was at least alive, and I wouldn't do anything until he was here.

As he let me up I cupped my bleeding head. I kick the guy in the face and draw my gun on him and boot him between the eyes " sorry Dan but he wasn't worth our time and I couldn't let you have all the fun !" I bark across the room. He shrugs and waves me over "I got us a little toy. She's a beauty" he said before hoping me a picture of a tied down half naked girl. No no no I draw my gun and just as I was going to shoot him I was hit in the abdominal section with a bullet. "FUCKKK ! What was that for!!" I yell looking across the room to see this old man I take a shot and kill him on the spot when I turn around I notice dans gone shit. I creep around the building till I have to sit I decide to call roxy scared that I'm going to break my promise I slowly punch in the numbers and grunt as I pull myself to the wall

I looked at the phone. I slowly picked it up not evening glancing at the caller. "Hello?" I asked shakily. I just wanted this over with, he can go home or come here afterwards, I just want him away from that man.

"Hi" I say simply so that she doesn't hear the shakiness in my voice from the pain. "Why have you been crying ?" I asking hearing the the little sniffles in the back ground

"I'm scared, I want you to come back," I said. I could tell something was wrong and it made it harder not to cry. I knew he was hiding something from me. "I don't care if you kill him just go home or come back, I don't care. If something happens to you I'll blame myself until I die," I said.

"Please, just forget it, I want you here," I said. I was crying louder now, so it wasn't just sniffling anymore.

I take a sharp breath in then let it out " okay I will be there shortly." I admit as I force myself up I drive to the closet store to get thread a new shirt an a first aid kit to clean myself up " I'm coming okay just give me 15 mins "

"Okay," I said before he hung up. I slowly put the phone on the bed. I sat there again really still and stared at my food. It still sat there, untouched, but I refused to eat until he got here.

I go into the bathroom and lock the door behind me after checking the stalls. I stare to peel up my shirt and clean off the shot I dig into the hole and pull out the bullet. Fuck did that hurt. I make sure there's no damage and sow it up then patch it. I though out my old shirt and replace it with a new one before taking a bunch of Tylenal walking out of the store I jump into my car and check my phone I get a message from roxys brother that said she wasn't eating so I called her as I was driving. "Roxy dam it why arnt you eating ? You need to eat don't do that to your self ou don't need to be skinnier or anything your beautiful !"

"I won't eat until I see you," I said. "I already told him that before so I don't know why he told you now." I looked at my brother who was sitting there looking very mad at me. I'd never pulled a stunt like this, nothing ever made me not eat.

As she's said she wouldn't eat till she seen me I hit the gas going 120 in a 80km/h area. I made it to her house in less then 5 min. I open the front door and walk in looking around not seeing them I march up the stairs to the bed room " eat now " I barked as soon as she came into view

I looked at him as my brother finally left the room. I slowly began eating again. Now that he was here I saw how childish I had acted so I couldn't look up, I just stared at my food while I ate.

i sigh and sit beside her resting my arm on her back "roxy.. look at me please.. why wouldnt you eat when i wasnt here?" i ask but she didnt respond nor look up at me i put my finger under your chin and lift it till you where forced to look up at me " hey whats going on ?"

"I was afraid you weren't going to come back, and when I get scared or upset my food won't go down so it's easier not to eat. I wanted you to come back because I like having you here, if you were to try to kill him you could get killed and I would be alone again. No one would protect me at school, or out here. My brother can only do so much, having you around helps," I said. And I really like you, and I'm starting to think I love you. But I didn't say it, I couldn't. I couldn't risk making a fool of myself.

i wipe my hand over my face " do you want me to move in ? so i can always be around for you ? just dont get scared okay ill be okay i have dealt with worse trust me.. i wont leave you im sorry this might not be the best time to tell you but your father .. hes dead .."
