He always knew who she was, but was afraid to approach her to maybe just talk. One day while out with friends he goes down an alley on his way home and sees her in trouble. Will he be a hereo or another victim?

After he left I stood there drenched "shit umm I'm sorry I guess I took that to far " I say scratching the back of my head and then holding it when this sharp pain digs it's way into my head.i try not showing it so I walk out of the room then fold over as the pain gets unbearable

"Hey are you ok?!" I asked as I looked at him worriedly. I reached for him unsurely, unsure if he'd want to be touched.

" ya perfectly fine why would you think something's wrong ?" I ask squinting at her as I stand up. God my head kills right now but she shouldn't have to worry about me.

"You're hurting." I said. I went to get him some pills. "Here, take two of this, it will help." I said.

I look at the bottle to see they where t3s when she looked away I quickly swollow end 3 and knew u would be numb in a half hour and high as a ever but didn't really care " thanks "

"Whatever it takes to end the pain. That's what my mother use to say, and now my brother," I said.

I laugh a bit to myself that's what my real mom used to say before she passed. "Ya thoughs are words I live by " I smirk. All I wanted to do was kiss her but I couldn't. I don't want to scare her off she's not like most girls who through them selfs at me.

I smiled at him. "So, is there anything else you'd like to do? I don't think I need another cold shower like that. I mean, that one word can hold my brother back, but I've never had to use it more than once at a time." I smiled. It was his name, but he feared it, I knew why but neither of us spoke of it.

" im not sure but can i ask you about something?" i ask when she slowly nods i ask "umm.. what was that name you called your brother and what does it mean like why did he back up so pissed over it ?"

I froze. "Um, I don't know it exactly what it means. His real name is Retiku, but we don't call him that anymore. His real dad abused him, and Retiku is what his dad named him. He thinks of the times his dad would yell at him every time we say it, so usually we don't say unless we're stopping him," I said and looked away. My family is a mess.

oh shit that bad. " umm.. im sorry i shouldnt have asked im sure he dont want me to know about that but.. if his dad did that did he do that to you to ..?" i asked kinda upset i swear to god if he touched her !

I shook my head. "My dad is in jail, and I'm not allowed to see that man. We share the same mom," I said. I looked at him. "My brother won't mind knowing you know, as long as that means I have someone I can confide in."

"I guess that's true" i say sad I get closer to you " ill be here when ever you need me I don't care what time ok"

I nodded, "ok. That seems nice. I wonder if being friends will make the others get to know me, or hate you." I said, I really didn't want him to be outcasted because of me.

"I don't know but quite frankly I do not care if the guys don't notice you I guess It just means I don't have to fight to protect you " I admit with out even thinking

I smiled. "Sounds like you'd get jealous if a guy began to notice my looks," I teased.

" what no .. Why would I get jealous. " I asked cocking a brow at you ha she's funny I get a kick out of this girl I love it

"Well you just sounded like it, I always forget guys sometimes act like a brother too. Especially the ones who are........that way," I smiled teasingly. No guy, who was solely into girls, wanted to be called that. I went around him knowing he was about to do something to get at me.

as she runs around me i rap my arm around her waste "oh not so fast little girl what do you mean by act like a brother too. Especially the ones who are........that way??" i asked whiespering in your ear with a husky voice

I smiled at him. "The ones who aren't arrow straight tend to act like a brother." I giggled. I started pulling against his arm like a child trying to get out of being tickled or whatever.

i look at you in shock and then through you over my shoulder "whats wrong baby got something against gay people ?" i asked winking then throuhging her on her bed and finding a small book stick out and i grip it and wave it in front of you before taking off

I smiled, he was weird, really weird. That only made it fun, but I didn't get why I would run after him to get a 5 year old book. Wait........sh!t! I started running after him frantically. This might have been funny before but it wasn't now that I realized what that book was. "Hey, don't take off with that book!" I said but I don't think he heard the desperation behind it.

I smirk and open it as i continue to run around " hmm i wanter what the latest thing you wrote in it was " i laugh as i see your face show so many different emotions " whats wrong muffin?"

I stare at the book. "That's not a diary, it's a book my mother made for me a few years ago. She'd been making it through most of my life, and she finally finished it when I was 12." I said.

I stop dead in my tracks and sadness swollowes me up I hand it to her and wipe my hands over my face " I.. I'm .. So sorry .. I didn't know. Or I wouldn't have touched it. " I say looked to the ground depressed
