2 young druids that live in an encampment a achool of.sorts for those that wish 2 live and breath and dwell in nature come 2 such camps 2 become the masters of nature and natural balance. These 2 druids have come very.close 2 been set on their firsr mission as full druids. But before than can a bad thing happens whioe they are out doing chores for their respected teachers.

Drizzts was finally resting and gueyn and I was getting to know each other more. I couldn't understand her but she understood me. After a few hours I told gueyn if she thinks it's time to wake drizzts to go ahead. She walked over and nudged him with her nose.

Im awake almst instantly from over a hundred years of traveling and harsh battles and smile as i c gueyn and softly wrap my arms around her neck in a hug."hey gueyn"

As I watch the I counter between the two I smile. "did you get enough rest." I said hoping we didn't wake him to soon.

"yea as long as i atleast get 3 hours il be fine the rest of the day" i smile and softly pet gueyn and she lays down with her head and front paws on my chest. "looks like the tunnel.ends soon maybe within the next day or so wel make it put bc i can feel a slight breeze even from down here on the floor."

"Good, I can't wait to see daylight again." I chuckled. "Knowing my luck when we get to the end it will be night."

"or morning of the day after. ,us honestly we dnt know how.long its been since wev been down here and wev been going on whenever we get tired. And it is kinda hard 2 judge time underground but i would say from my expertise on the underdark network and time.down there i would say wev been down here atleast a week" i say smiling alittle.

Its been about week if my time keeping is right." I say and smile as i tap gueyn on the shoulders and she gets off me and lets me get up and you realize just how big she is standing next t2 me with her shoulders and neck as tall as our waist.

"Wow gueyn your a big girl!" I heard her growl a little. "Sorry girl I didn't mean it like that." I chuckled a little and started to walk.

"if she lived in this realm shed be the biggest black panther alive but she can only live here for short bursts of time. What i mean is she can stay here and sleep here and eat and everything but she wont get much nourishment or real rest while shes here." I say and smile as i rest my hand on her shoulders and gently pet her between her shoulderblades as we all walk.

"I think she is the most beautiful creature for sure." I said as I let her head.

She purrs loudly a.d i smile. "yes she is and one of the most deadly even 2 giants arnt you girl? I no you remember that night as well as i." She growls loudly as she looks up at me and gently bumps my hip with her shoulder.

I laughed a little. "Remind me to stay on her good side!" We continued to walk sometimes in silence and other talking about things here and there.

"wait sumthings not right. Do you feel air? Coming from the walls?" I aks suspiciously as i start 2 move my hand infront of the wall next 2 me.

I felt the wall and something was up. "Yeah" I had not a clue what it was so I hope he did.

I quickly cast fairie fire on myself and said. "no.time 2 explain just run now and follow.me as fast as u can il be ur light just turst me." I said

I did exactly what he said. I ran as fast as I could no questions asked. I knew it wasn't good.

I quickly ran infront of her making sure that i stayed withing a meeter of her and gueyn way up ahead of.me as a bunch of darts start shooting out of the walls from top 2 bottom just barely missing us and as soon as i reach the end of the dart field i yell "DIVE NOW!"

He yelled for me to dive, and I was just a little slow, because whatever it was nicked me good. I yelled in pain.

I just barely jump.over the blades that come out of the walls even tho a thousand years old still as shRp as the day they were forged. And i hear kat yell in pain as i.land and force my momentum backwards as i go into a backwards roll 2 check on her tryen 2 assess the damage thru the blood.

"What the heck was that." I hissed through the pain. It wasn't that bad. "What's the damage?"

"theres alot of blood but it looks like it ws just a knick. That kat was their best trap yet designed 2 cut someone taller than a dwarf in half withing a second and cut a dwarfs head clean off. They wouldnt even feel the pain bc tby the time the pain hits they are dead. Ur lucky but ur armor is beyond repair. Its opend up your shoulder blade but just got the.skin. gueyn i need your help i need u 2 get this.wound clean now. Dnt worry she has healling properties in her saliva that will help the wound heal alot faster. It might hurt tho." I say as gueyn comes over quickly with one dart in her rear leg but otherwise fine.

As she came over and started cleaning my wound, it hurt. I grabbed drizzts hand and squeezed. Soon after it wasn't painful. I felt better. "Thanks gueyn."

As soon as gueyn is done i start ripping.whats left of.your armor and make a decent makeshift bandage and wrap it around ur backand front tien it off good. 2 make sure.that it doesnt come.loose. "do you think you can crawl with your bad shoukder? Cus thats the only way we gana get out from.under the chopping block above us. Unless u want me and gueyn 2 drag u im not willint 2.risk activating the trap again if its still active"
