2 young druids that live in an encampment a achool of.sorts for those that wish 2 live and breath and dwell in nature come 2 such camps 2 become the masters of nature and natural balance. These 2 druids have come very.close 2 been set on their firsr mission as full druids. But before than can a bad thing happens whioe they are out doing chores for their respected teachers.

I crawl a good 10 feetlooking back and making sure.ur still with.me andi lay on my back and throw whats left of your leather armor up but nothing happens so i no we are in the clear "we are good here" i say as i gently help u up and check the bandage. "here put one of the drow armor on so atleast youl hve alittle protection incase we run into trouble." Then i look over at gueyn and pull the dart ou2 of her left thigh and lut the tip 2 my mouth. "a paralizong mixture. Interesting. It wont harm you since ur immune gueyn"

As I watched you with the dart, I smiled. Then we continued on. "So how did you know what was going to happen?"

I was listening ahead.of us when i hard the gears above.the sound of.the darts and then when gueyn passed under the blades i new we needed to drop bc of the gear sound got alot louder. Its not always easy.2 be aware of ur suroundings 100% of the time but its sumthing i mastered fairly quickly in my 150 years of life tho im still considered young by both our races." "honestly eben the oldest among us look like they are 20 years old. But the trick to tell is their eyes. An elves eyes are the best way 2 tell age. I may look young but at the rate im going il be lucky 2 hit 400 but your kind tend 2 live well past a milenia my.kind are war like and lkke the humans are always fighting amongst ourselve 2 pretend we are better. And 0 times out of 10 the house.that gets attacked gets wiped out never 2 be seen or heard from again. And the house that attacked advances into the next highest slot. We are lucky 2 even reack 150

"honestly no i dnt noone but the drow know about the drow society so i dnt expext you 2 know bout my kind and the few outsiders that do are my friends @ho cae and rescued me so long ago from sacrificing myself for them because at the time i was stupid enuf 2 believe that the drow would leav them alone if i came down with them and would have been executed on the spot. Bc im a rogue drow from the do'urden family who suposedly got wiped out because of.me. but there was no love between me and my family. Specially after they sacrificed my father."

"hes the only other drow.that believed like the moon elves. That Ll life is sacred and 2 be cherished. Plus he sacrificed himself for me twice 2he first time was on the alter of tbe spider queen. And the sec time was when he was able 2 push thru the zombie monstrs controle long enuf for.me 2 push it off into the pit of acid down below. So i could live and fight another day. But iv done everything i can 2 make him.proud and 2 hinder the drow.mg people at any turn they take

I smile softly but keep moving. After awile i stop and move.behind.ypu 2 sheck on the makeshift bandage and ur wound.

"How's it look?" Asked as I felt a lot better.

The bandage is soaked but theres nothing we can do about it unless we start tearing up our blankets but its on the heal thanks 2 gueyn.i just hope that it doesnt get infected till we get 2 a town with a healer or atleast a herbalist that knows what they doing." I say as i gently press the bandage back on and wrap it again.

"well then we shouldn't stop moving then." I said and continued on with you by my side. As we walked a little further I started to see some light and got excited! "You see that?"

Yes i do. I do.see it and we got lucky almot a full day we.traveled now leta get ut of here and find a.town for.you and for.us 2 sell this stuff" i say as i c guwyn move between us and gently bump both pf.us 2 make foom for her and i laugh alittle

"well she does consider me hers but i dnt think its that i think she felt left out" and we both hear what we both think is a soft moan from her throat wich comfirms my guess and i laugh alittle

Awe gueyn I stopped walking and leaned just a little to hug her. "You don't need to feel left out!" I said to her.

she purs and goes up on her hind legs tretcing herself to full hieght on her hind legs an rests her paw on you good shoule and softly licks you cheek with her ough tongue

I was shocked a what she did, but then she licked me. I giggled a little. "What was that for?"

she purs loudly and i smile. "i think its for been a good friend to us both. wev had a hard ime trusting anyone sinc we left mithral hall 20 years ago." i say as i gently pet her right behin the ears an she purrs even louder leaning her heaqd in like a nomal housecat might.

I smiled, "well I trust the both of you as well." I started walking again as we were much closer to the light. I smiled at drizzts and gueyn. "Finally!" I breathed out and squinted my eyes, from the sun light.

i smile and laugh. "yea it feels good to be out in the sun again doesnt it?" i say and smile laughing lihtly. "now lets c if we can find a town to ge you healed up

"Yes lets. Before we run into more trouble." I walked up beside him and gueyn.

i smile and nod as i walk with kat and gueyn a good 3 hours before we finally find a settlement and i raise my hood so that we could enter unaposed. "lets c if we can find you a healer." i say with a slight smile.
