She nodded and went to tell his dad. I knew she saw that I told him. I wouldn't be crying if it weren't so.

we went to my car and i drove for an hour silently holding her hand. once we pulled on the side of the road i gave her boots "Put these on" and gave her gloves too

i took her hand and lead her between the exotic trees "its a safe part of the jungle with no animals on the loose. its kind of a natural reserve, the animals are in big cages but still in there environments "

I smiled at him. "It sounds great," I said softly.

"Yeah...i thought you would want to see animals but not in a zoo, so i figured this was the best place. the boots are for muddy paths and the gloves are just precaution in case some flower or tree is toxic"

I giggled at him. "Alright, it'll help if I turn out to be allergic to something too," I said.

i smiled "I already have a picnic set up for us. i came earlier and arranged everything"

I smiled more. "Thank you, this makes me feel much better," I said and hugged him.

i hugged her back loving how she felt in my arms "I love you" i whispered

we reached the blanket i had set down and let her sit "Hungry?"

"I haven't eaten since dinner," I said as I sat.

i took the basket and started taking the food out "let me make you a sandwich "

"Alright," I said.

I gave her some juice and a sandwich

I kissed his cheek then started eating.

I laid in his lap while I ate.

i stroked her hair gently thinking about her future "We need to start your chemotherapy soon"

I nodded. 'I know, I still have to get the tube inserted so they can do it. My parents never thought of this so they never got someone to do chemo. They were thinking putting me in an actual children's hospital for a few weeks, just until they get the beginning over with," I said not feeling to happy about it. "I watched an intro video made by the newest cancer hospital."

"And? what did you learn about it?"

"It wasn't very fun. I have to do a group thing, like I was an ex-druggie. And no one is allowed to come with me not even my first time. But we have no choice but to bring you, considering our circumstances. It's a hard transition and we can be stuck here for a month and a half, even if we are in danger." I said. "I just wonder if they can adjust everything to our needs," I added.

"It wasn't very fun. I have to do a group thing, like I was an ex-druggie. And no one is allowed to come with me not even my first time.
