"Fine" i cuddled her and drifted to sleep for a couple hours. Once we woke up and freshened up, i put on my running shoes and grabbed my cellphone "I'll go check while you make us breakfast"

“Sounds good.” I smiled, sore and tired but very happy. “I hope he hasn’t screamed all night for her.” I say and sat by the fire outside the tent and took a photo of the stream.

"He's not used being away from you, this was the first time so it couldn't have been easy. I won't be long" i kissed her quickly and made my way out of the woods.

I sat there, making breakfast and waiting. It seemed to be taking forever and i wasn’t sure what was going on. Maybe he was just chatting to his mum. I sighed, noticing it had been an hour and a half and went to go find Zach.

[Demona]

I was walking to my jeep when i heard a growl, looking back I saw a wolf and started backing off slowly so I wouldn't anger it. This wolf was bigger than any regular wolf, something was different about it. I searched my pants for the keys but remembered they were in Ava's jacket.
The wolf kept coming my way slowly while growling and when my phone went off he charged at me and bit me in the neck. I heard a howl and the wolf disappeared as i fell to the ground

I stopped when I heard a loud sound and then started to run, I couldn’t see him anywhere. “Zach?” I called out, and came to a skidded stop when I saw blood coming from his neck and him on the ground “noo!” This couldn’t be happening. I fumbled with the car keys, unlocking the car and rushing to him. Holding my hand over the would “baby wake up.. it’s going to be ok.” I promised trying not to panic. I cried silently, trying to lift him but he was so heavy, I managed to drag him to the car and left him in the back so he was laying down. I just drove, I wasn’t sure where to go but I kept going and hoped to find a doctors surgery somewhere soon in this town. I drove for at least an hour and then came to a stop in some quiet town with the sign surgery on the front window and I jumped out and ran in, screaming for help.

Beta Cane saw a car approaching as he was heading to the clinic and paused to see who it was. When he saw the woman running out like maniac he rushed to the car only to be hit by the scent of blood. He picked the man up and mind linked to the pack's doctor telling him about humans going in.
"Mam, don't panic, it's not as bad as it looked. He'll be healed in no time." He took him in and laid him on the operating bed. The nurses came running an took him away.
"Would you please tell me what happened? And where?"
He mind linked to the packs patrol crew telling them to look for a rogue wolf. He then texted Hunter since he needed to be here for this.

“Is he going to be ok?” I don’t know what happened or if he was ok or not but I needed him to be. “Please don’t let him die.. I drove as fast as I could.” I cried, holding onto Zachs hand and kissing his forehead as they were taking him “I love you so much.” I whispered with tears

Cane held her hand "I just need you to tell me where this happened? It looks like an animal attack and I need to know wher so i can know what kind of animal did this to him... he'll be okay, we'll treat him as well as we can"

“I- I don’t remember, it was by a lake and we were camping. Umm it was an hour away, and I heard this loud howling sound. Then I found him on the ground bleeding from the neck. It sounded like a wolf.” I said trying to remain calm

"Will you please come with me? You can wait in the waiting area, he'll be okay I promise." Cane led the way and called a nurse "would you please make a quick check on her as well?"

“I’m fine.. my blood is from him.” I said noticing my shirt was covered and arm had blood over it. “I’m just a mess scared for him.” I said taking a seat in the waiting room.

"Okay good, we'll get you a change of clothes, you should follow Aria, she'll help you clean up and all"

“Thankyou..” I smiled “and I don’t care what it costs, I’ll pay it.” No money would ever compare to saving his life. I had no idea where I was but I felt safe here

Cane smiled "don't worry about that mam, can you tell me both your and his name? Also, who told you about this camping site?"
