I took a glance at her as i got in the car after fixing Lenny in his car seat. "Maybe i've already found her? One can never know." I got in and buckled "sure why not? Let's have a douzen"

“Will you come in a cup? A dozen? Who knew you loved being a father that much.” I say, doing my belt up also and kicking my heels off “just make sure she’s not crazy.” I say referring to the girl he’s in love with

"Oh she's crazy alright, just the good crazy. Not a psycho. She's the kind of person everyone loves to spend time with, she's very kind and caring..." i stopped talking and got on the road turning the radio on "she just doesn't know i'm in love with her yet"

“Well maybe you should let her know before the world thinks you have a girlfriend tomorrow.” I stared ahead because I knew if I looked at him I’d break down. “So I think maybe I could start doing a bit of work for you when Lenny is asleep, he’s sleeping all night and I’m eager to get back drawing.”

[Demona]

I said nothing just nodded knowing too well she changed the subject on purpose "yeah why not. You already know what i need so no need for meetings and stuff. And i already gave your boss a call. All your things are packed i sent someone i trust to do it. I couldn't go myself since i've been glued to you the whole time" i chuckled.

“Perfect.” I smiled “umm, I might wear the baby carrier or bring the pram so he can sleep” I wasn’t sure when exactly I’d go back but the fact I could was exciting enough. “I think I’d have 4 babies.”

[Demona]

"Or you could come in for a couple hours only and leave Lenny with Mary just for that time. I know you don't like the idea but she's here to help and she loves kids, she's really good with them too. And i trust her i've known her long enough, but again it's up to you"

“Maybe, I think I’m feeling guilty because I didn’t think I could be a good mum to him. And then I saw him, and now I can’t imagine life without him in it.” I felt guilty for so many reasons. “I might come in for a couple hours and you can show me around.”

[Demona]

"You're already an incredible mom, and i believe in you. I believe you'll raise him to be a perfect gentleman and a great man" i took her hand in mine and brought it to my lips. I kissed it lightly but kept her hand on my thigh as i drove.

“You’re a pretty great dad, it’s nice to watch.” I liked the way it felt having my hand there, we’d hugged and kissed so many times before but those times were different. This felt different. “So filthy rich daddy, how long have you been lusted after for?”

[Demona]

I squeezed her hand a little with a smile "i like being a dad" i confessed "huh listed after? Since puberty i think? I can't remember" i chuckled "but i didn't have any girlfriend after Tracy" it was more after having sex with Ava, but i wasn't going to tell her that.

“Oh you haven’t?” I asked, “I’ve been single for years. Catching James with Erin was it for me.” I was scared to be hurt like that again

"James was an ass. I told you so from the beginning but you never listened" i sighed pulling in front of the restaurant, the valet parking came to take my keys but i told him we needed the pram first. When everything was sorted we walked inside.
"Name of reservation sir?"
"Zachary Hunt"
"You haven't made a reservation sir"
I passed her a couple hundreds discretely "check again"
"Oh yes i see it now" she smiled and lead us to a table "have a great evening"
I rolled my eyes and pulled a chair out of Ava just as the chef the rang came.

“Well things have definitely changed with you” he was rich, intimidating and people done everything he said. “I’m starving, what are you having to eat?” I asked

"Well you remember how i never wanted to take money from my parents? I wanted to do it all on my own. But with all the small jobs i did and construction work i took it wasn't enough. So when they offered again, i said why not! I mean my brother and sister are living off their backs, i'll just take an amount to help me grow. And that's what i did, i even paid them back. But i'm still the same guy you knew your whole life, just richer maybe." I chuckled nervously knowing she didn't care about money and flash lifestyle.
"I'll take a shrimp fettuccini, what about you?"

“The vegetable ravioli.” I said handing over the menu. “Well I’m happy for you, you have a very successful career and clearly doing well. You deserve all the perks of the high life.” It was nice his parents supported him. My eyes went to his suit again, flashbacks of that night clear in my mind as I tried to focus on something else other than ripping his suit off. “It’s nice in here.”

"I honestly haven't enjoyed it much, i had no one to share it with" i smiled and checked my phone to distract myself from her cleavage. "I have to be honest about something, this dress looks so hot on you and is getting too much attention" i chuckled wanting to tell her not to wear it anymore but knew i was in no place to ask that of her.

“You chose it for me.” I laughed as I pointed that out. “I’ll change out of it when I’m back in the apartment, it will be sweats and a shirt.” I leant forwards purposely squeezing my chest together “but I’m loving these boobs, it makes me want a boob job.” I grinned loving that he was distracted by them.

I cleared my throat chuckled "you're such a tease Ava" i smiled shaking my head "no need to have a boob job, your boobs are good i mean... even before you were pregnant"

“They are pretty good,” I smiled, sitting up to take a drink of water. “So I think I might come into your office next week and we could go and grab lunch? That’s if you’re free.. you know since you’re so popular and all.”

[Demona]

I laughed "popular? I think whenever they see money they give me importance. Other than that... anyway, i'm never busy when it comes to you. That hasn't changed"

“Perfect.” I smiled, knowing I was only headed for heartbreak with him. Our food came and it was as good as I imagined, and just as we started to leave a Lenny woke up with a cry, and I had to feed in the car before we could leave. He fell asleep shortly after and I couldn’t wait to change. “Could you help with the zipper? It seems stuck?” I asked once home, pulling my hair to the side

I stood there for a few seconds before mastering the courage to walk over. I caressed her back softly before zipping it down. "I'll take a shower, and thank you for tonight, it was fun"

“It was, Thankyou for dinner.” I watched him walk away, and I slipped out of the dress, putting my pyjamas on and changing Lenny before wrapping him up and reading him a story before he fell asleep. I laid him down in bed, and soon laid in mine and scrolled Facebook to see hundreds of new friend requests and photos of us kissing everywhere
