“Nothing you haven’t seen before.” I threw in cheekily. “I had an email from my boss, your assistant called him and said I didn’t make the presentation and now he’s pissed.”

"My assistant is so getting fired tomorrow" i rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone wanting to turn it on "i'll talk to him" then it hit me "or... you could work for me permanently? We need a permanent graphic designer"

“Yeah I could do, umm I could work from here until I’m alright to go into your offices.” I finished feeding, and saw my phone flashing and it was my mother calling. I just left it “so are we just going to avoid everything that happened?” I asked finally

"Call your mom, let her know we have a baby boy and then we'll call my parents" i said getting up ignoring the topic.

And clearly he still doesn’t feel the same way about me. He just wants me as his friend, and for us to raise a baby together. I said nothing but redialled my mums number “hey mum.. yes I wasn’t- no I was unable to take the call- oh god I wasn’t ignoring you.” She kept cutting me off, and I was growing more frustrated “mum I have news-“ I said but was cut off again for her to shout down and tell me that my sister was engaged and having a party this weekend and I had to be there. “I’ll try mum but-“ I couldn’t get a word in, and she told me to be there and hung up. With an eye roll, clearly annoyed I said “well my sister is engaged and the party is Saturday night.”

I bit my lower lip and sighed "maybe calling her wasn't such a good idea" i took my phone "if you don't want to go then don't no one can force you to do anything" i called my parents and told them.

“I’m going to bed.” He seemed moodier than usual, I ignored it and got up after Lenny had fallen back asleep and I went to the bedroom to get ready for bed, laying down with him against my arm wrapped and sleeping soundly.

"I think i fucked up again" i whispered to myself as she went inside. I closed my laptop and went to take a shower before joining her in bed.
I woke up before them in the morning and helped Mary with breakfast.
"The nursery's furniture will be here soon, could you call the guys to empty the bedroom next to Ava's?"
"Yes i'll do that right away"
"Thank you. My sister is probably coming today we told her about Lenny she was excited"
"Ohh i can't wait to see Emily"
I smiled and went to the living room to answer w few emails before Ava woke up.

I don’t think I slept much but everytime he stirred I was able to feed and soothe him back to sleep. I came out of the bedroom with Lenny freshly changed and a belly full of milk, my breasts were fully engorged with milk, and looking like I’d had implants. “Good morning” I smiled to Mary and saw Zach on the couch. “I might have a bath tonight with him.”

"Good morning dear, do you need help? Bathing a baby for the first time can be scary"

"Good morning beautiful" i smiled at her and patted the couch next to me "did you rest well?"

I took Lenny from her and grinned "good morning buddy"

“I think if I’m in the bath holding him I should be ok, Zach might have to grab him though and wrap him afterwards.” I got up, and walked to the kitchen “what time is the furniture being delivered? I’m excited to set things up.”

"In about an hour" i told her with a smile "Emily should be coming today, i don't know what time though, my parents will fly over in a couple days"

“Oh that will be nice, how were they with the news that you’re a father?” I could imagine his family would be annoyed I hadn’t told him. “Did you sleep much last night?” I asked joining him with my hot tea

"They were surprised and thought i was pranking them but they took it well afterwards, they were happy" i smiled "i sent them pictures of Lenny"

“They would have been very surprised.” I still was bothered that we didn’t discuss what had happened and I didn’t know how I felt about living here if it was just best friends raising a baby. “Do you go into work today? I’ll go to my old office next week.”

[Demona]

"No i'm not going in i had a conference call before you woke up and finished everything important. I also sent an architect from the firm to check on current projects. Why would you go to your old firm?"

“I have a desk there full of my work, my laptop and files.” I point out. “You’ve been busy this morning then, I reckon my day will be feeding and napping, he woke hourly last night.”

[Demona]

"Really? I didn't feel a thing i'm sorry" i frowned upset i couldn't help her out. "About your things, i can go get them myself and have a word with your boss telling him you'll be leaving?"

“Probably best, he’s a jerk at the best of times” I laughed, reading a text on my phone from my sister “I mean it was a good paying job but he was demanding. Umm I might go to the engagement this weekend, did you want to come with us?”

[Demona]

"Sure i'll go get your things tomorrow, or even today so no one steals your work." Mary told us breakfast was ready and retired to the kitchen "yes i'll go with you" i smiled getting up "let's have something to eat before they deliver the room"

“Sounds like a plan,” I glanced down and realised I’d leaked through my white shirt and groaned “then I’ll need a shower. I’m literally about to explode wth milk.”

[Demona]

I looked at her full breasts and unconsciously licked my lower lip. "We ordered w milk extractor last night right?"

I giggled “yeah we did, I’ll need to do some bottles up today and we can freeze it too, apparently it lasts for ages too.” Which was good if he wanted to feed him. I eyed him curiously, as I sat down “I can’t believe you still don’t cook.”

"Maybe you can teach me?" I chuckled "when you left i almost burnt the kitchen that's when i started ordering food for every meal. And when i came here my mom sent me Mary to help around"
