“Did you really? Jesus, no wonder you have someone helping then. I actually have never cooked, I order take out all the time. I barely even brought groceries.” I smiled “we should cook your parents a roast for dinner when they come.”

"You mean... you should cook" i laughed and took a bite of my food "that would be great. They were happy you were the mother... and i quote 'thank god it was Ava and not some slut you picked up in a club'" i smirked "my mom really loves you"

“Well I wasn’t exactly having sex so there was no need for birth control and then I sort of didn’t think about you blowing in me until weeks later when I got sick.” I picked up my toast “and I’m glad it wasn’t a slut in a club also.”

I took a sip of orange juice and nodded "me too trust me. I always thought about having a baby but only with one person and..." i thought i was saying too much "and we need to get you a dress for the engagement right?"

Why did he always stop himself like this. I sighed, rubbing my temple and nodded trying to hold the tears back and covered them up with a yawn “yes, I probably have something anyway in the cupboard, apparently it’s a high tea party and noone is allowed to wear white. I’ll rock a red dress and killer heels.”

"You look so sexy in red" i wiggled my eyebrows at her and laughed "how about we go shopping when we get a pram? He needs clothes too. Or is it too early to take him out?"

“Sexy eh.” I laughed, it was comments like that, that confused me. “A walk in the pram will be ok, he will be wrapped up anyway and hopefully sleeping the whole time. I’ll probably enjoy shopping for him more than myself.” I grinned “you’ll need a suit, maybe navy.”

"I have many suits but not navy. I never wore that color, than it's a date! We'll get everything sorted tomorrow" just as ate the last piece of my food the bell rang "the delivery guys are probably here." I opened the door and let them in showing them the bedroom.
I joined Ava while they fixed everything "i fired Hana"

“What really? How come?” I asked, but not surprised by this. “How did she take it? Let me guess, offered to do anything you desire.” I put on a sultry voice, then laughing “I’m sure she would too.”

[Demona]

I laughed shaking my head "you're bad! But also right, she offered to be my mistress" i smirked "she obviously didn't take it in a good way and she said she was going to press charges for firing her for no reason. That's when i told her the call was being recorded. She apologized and hung up"

“Your mistress, wow she’s put that out there.” I smiled, but still after all this time it made me just as jealous thinking about him with others. “A navy suit will look good on you. I like your beard, don’t shave that.”

[Demona]

"I know you do, that's why i keep it on all the time" i winked and pinched her cheek lightly "you'll choose my suit and i'll choose your dress how about that?"

“I like that, just like we used to.” I smiled loving our shopping trips “we should get a photo taken there dressed up with Lenny.”

[Demona]

"We sure will. Is your sister still being nasty to you? I remember you moved out because of her"

“She was the reason your calls never went through or my messages didn’t send. She had my phone when I went to stay with my parents and then yesterday I saw that your number was in my blocked list. It’s pathetic, I don’t understand why she’s always being a bitch. Should have seen them when I said I was pregnant, never asked who just told me to pack my things and leave.” I sighed, tucking hair behind my ear then reaching over and brushing my fingertips against his beard and squeezing his lips together “you’re cute.”

I couldn't help it, couldn't stop myself i needed her close to me. I scooted over leaving no space between us and wrapped my arms around her tightly "don't think about them. Your sister has been this pathetic since she hit on me and i rejected her, but i don't know about your parents"

“Me either.” I whispered, it felt nice having his arms around me. I glanced at Lenny asleep in the bassinet beside the bed with the monitor on. We hadn’t really touched and kept grasping him while pushing out our son didn’t really count. I was tired, and moved my head so it was on his arm, sliding my arm over his chest and closing my eyes “it doesn’t matter anyway, I’m happy here.”

"Good, because you're home now. And i'll always keep here" i meant in my heart but knew i didn't need to say it. She already knew it. I kissed the top of her head and lifted her chin up so she looked at me. I leaned in and was about to kiss her when i heard the deliver guy.
"Mr Hunt, everything is ready would you take a look before we leave? All the appliances are also set"
I cleared my throat and got up "yes i'm coming, Ava let's check it out"

I was a little dazed from what just happened but composed myself and sat up, “sure. I’m excited.” I said following him out of the bedroom and down the hallway to the nursery. We walked in and my smile grew, but a wave of emotion hit me “it’s perfect, I love it.” There was books on the shelf, teddies, his crib and blankets set up. A rocking chair and change table. It was everything and more. “What do you think Zach?”

[Demona]

"I think it's pretty amazing, we'll get more toys when we go out tomorrow" i thanked the guys and showed them out.
Mary came in and gasped "oh my this is a very beautiful nursery. I'm sure little Lenny will be happy here"
"Thank you Mary, would you give us a moment?"
"Yes sir" she walked out.
"Do you need anything else Ava? Do you want changed to be made to your bedroom?"

“No, it’s nice the way it is.” And there it was again, his abrupt change after things go nice with us, he goes back to this cold man. I need to stop lusting for something that will never be. “The room is good, I’ll move him into my room tonight and it’ll be close enough to his if I have to change his clothing.” I turned “ but I want to pay rent for staying here, I can’t just let you buy everything.”

I rolled my eyes at her "he's my son of course i'll get him a plce and things stop saying that! Hell i donmt even pay rent i own the place what rent do you want to pay Ava?"

I looked at him, frowning “forget it Zachary,” I said with a slight glare, and heavy sigh “sorry if I didn’t know that you owned this place, and sorry that I offered to pay for something. I’ll just transfer money to your account each week while I’m staying here.”

"Come here" i said softly pulling her to me hugging her "i'm sorry i upset you. Forgive me"

“Your moods are out of control. It’s frustrating.” I mumbled into his chest, hugging him back and never wanting to let him go. “We should run the bath.”
