I shrugged “pizza is fine.” Things have been so off lately. I didn’t understand her sudden actions on sex, it’s like she didn’t want me to touch her and I swear my balls have never been blue, except when I was trying to not want her when I met her.

I woke up feeling fine, I was agitated more than anything as I saw the mess in the kitchen from the kids and sighed, “if you kids can’t clean up after yourself you can live elsewhere.” I noticed tanner raised a brow at the kids and eyes them. Usually that look would drive me wild. “I have to run some errands in town, does anyone need anything?” I asked closing the dishwasher and turning it on. I felt a little niggling pain in my stomach and paused, I’d definitely see the doctor too about my emotions.

I sighed. “Nope.” I said popping the p. I didn’t get this was she not wanting me at all anymore I have tried everything and I get nothing. I went and grabbed a water from the fridge “I think I go get a work out in then a swim so let me know when your back so I can help with what you get.” I kissed her cheek and left the room.

“Love you.” I called out, I went and ran errands, then drove to the doctor, and she confirmed my lack of sexual energy was probably that I was tired and it wouldn’t last long. I felt a lot better, until she done an exam and things weren’t good when then made everything clearer for me. I drove home in silence, feeling sick for other reasons and packed away all the groceries and just sat outside staring at the yard and ocean view.

I was walking by the kitchen when lily stopped me. “Something is up with mom she seems sad when she came back from whatever and has been starring out there.” My eyes followed to where she pointed and I didn’t like it. I nodded to lily and made me way outside. “Char baby are you okay? What the hell is going on?”

“I saw the doctor, my lack of sexual needs is me just being tired.” I sighed, holding my tea in my hands, my eyes filling with tears “I know you’re wanting sex, and I want it too. I just... I wanted to see what was wrong with me.. and turns out I’m..” I couldn’t look at him, “there’s no heartbeats.. I have to go in tomorrow for surgery.”

I looked at her. “No we get another scan! There has to be heartbeats because our babies are fine!” I said not caring about sex not now and fuck I feel like a ass. “Char I won’t, no we do another scan.”

“Tanner I’ve had cramps, they said there’s nothing I could have done. It was early, and that it happened as there was possible defects in them.. our babies are gone.” Tears silently fell as I turned my head unable to look at him. I heard the kids home from basketball and went to stand to fix them food

“I want another scan Charlotte!” Saying her full name was an ass move but fuck I can’t no there has to be a mistake. “Our babies are perfect.”

“Charlotte?” I don’t think I’ve ever heard him call me that unless it was when he was really mad. I glared at him “I just had two scans done by two different doctors!”

“Yeah and I would have been there if you would have told me! I feel as though your keeping things from me like you didn’t want to be pregnant again.” I shut my mouth quick what the fuck was wrong with em. “Shut what I’m-I didn’t mean that.”

I was stunned, did he really just say? In other words he thought I was happy about this? That I wanted to loose my babies? I wiped my eyes taking a step away from him. “Fuck you Tanner.” I whispered, blinking away the tears and walking inside to make the boys something to eat

Score she got to far. “Would be nice if you actually wanted to fuck me.” I threw my towel and headed for the ocean I was pissed.

I was so mad, my tears kept coming as I served food for the kids and took Lily’s into her room as she studied. I grabbed a book, and went to the sunroom to try and focus on something else but ended up crying myself to sleep on the sofa couch.

I sighed as I went back up to the house. There was a mess from the kids so I cleaned up then went to shower as I walked into our room I noticed she was not there. “Fuck I’m such an ass.” I looked everywhere finally finding her I picked her up and carried her all the way to our bedroom. I kissed her head and whispered. “I’m so fucking sorry baby.” I kissed her again and laid her down then went to shower.

I heard the shower running, and rolled over to move on his side of the bed, hugging the pillow as I felt myself drifting back into a deep sleep again. My eyes stinging from crying as I heard the shower turn off,and I sat up in bed, having a drink of water and feeling wetter in my lower half. And I thought maybe it was seeing him naked in the bedroom but I glanced down and realised it wasn’t that, it was blood. In shock, I stood up as blood dropped down my inner thighs covering my pink pyjamas shorts

As I walked out of the bathroom with my head down I was so tired and ready to crawl into bed but stopped as I looked up and char was bleeding. I ran over to her hating myself more. “Fuck baby sit down before you pass out. I yanked my phone and called for help. Once I got a shocked char sitting I grabbed some clothes and ran back to her. “Baby talk to me. I’m so fucking sorry.”

“I guess you think I’m happy about this too.” I whispered, tears forming in my eyes as I broke out into a sob. “I just need to get changed, I’m fine.. I’m fine.”

I shook my head. “Baby your not fine and I’m so sorry for what I said I didn’t mean it I’m frustrated that all.” I pulled her closer to me and kissed her head. “I’m so sorry.”

“I know you’re frustrated, you’re sexually frustrated.” I burst into tears, pulling away “and then you’ll want someone younger who gives you all the attention because I’m not giving you enough.” I was shaking “I told you I’d lost the babies and you didn’t believe me.”

I pulled back. “I don’t fucking want anyone else and I was pissed at myself for not being there for you for not being able to have that last chance at seeing our babies. I am pissed at myself still because regardless of my frustrations I should have never treated you like that.” Pulling her back to me. “Why don’t you let me help you clean up before the paramedics get here.”

I looked up at him, shivering “I didn’t go there with the intent of hiding something from you. I wanted to ask a couple of questions and this is what happened.” I didn’t want to wait for a paramedic “let’s just go and see the doctor, I’m not in any pain, I’m just bleeding.. I’m ok to be driven by you.”

I sighed. “I already called them char once they get here and make sure your okay I will drive but baby I need to make sure your okay.” I fucked go big time and I knew everything wasn’t okay, just by looking at her there was a emptiness in her eyes.

“I’m not going in Smithton ambulance” I said firmly. “Just have the doctor cone here. I’m going to wash the bedding.” It was ruined anyway. I then looked at him “did you have that vasectomy?”

I looked at her. “No we made the appointment it’s for next week.” I didn’t know if she would be happy or not. “Let’s get you cleaned up let me help you seem to have lost a lot of blood I don’t want anything else happening to you.”
