I laughed at all she said. “One I love that you did that and two how did you think that was going to end? I mean it was photo of not just you but your brothers! There is no way anything could have happened looking at it! I had you permanently in my mind for that! I remember when you walked out of the house in that one bikini and fuck I had to stay sitting for a long as time with the pillow over my lap. That image was in my head for my dirty thoughts.”

“You’re filthy.” I straddled him again, tickling his sides “I love You.” I smiled, kissing him softly. “Come on, I want to go back to your place and watch a movie or something.”

I smiled.  “How about we stay here and watch a movie with Tom.”  I said not wanting to upset her parents by going back to my place.

I groaned “what I’m trying to say is, I want to go and get you naked a bit more and have some fun.” I smirked, starting to tie my hair up “we can come back after.”

I laughed. “Okay baby you win!” I pulled her to me and kissed her hard. “Let’s go!” I stood with her wrapped around me. I went to walk but stopped “you want me to carry you or you want to walk?”

I giggled “I can walk-“ I heard my name being called out and saw Tom running out “hey Lily, your prom is this weekend! You haven’t even gotten a dress! You need to go shopping for one.” I groaned shaking my head “I’m not going to prom.”

I looked at her. “Why not?” I didn’t understand why she didn’t. “You will regret not going it’s somethin you should experience.” I didn’t like her missing out on things specially if it was because of that jerk and all those who made her feel bad.

“Who did you go to prom with?” I asked him, curiously but also with a hint of jealousy. I shrugged, pulling away “I’m not going. It’s in two days and I don’t have anything so it’s too late.” I felt my emotions getting the better of me. Tom pushed more “You’re being ridiculous, we’ve all been to prom, it’s something you have to do.. don’t be stubborn, you’d would love it once you got there.. come one, let’s go shopping, you need shoes and a dress, do they still wear corsages?” Groaning loudly I shook my head “drop it ok. Both of you. I’m not going because nobody asked me to go!” I snapped angrily, and walked off to the feed the chickens.

I sighed. “I didn’t know man, or I would have asked.” I looked at him and then thought. “I need to ask! Help me figure a way man!” When he just stood there I laughed. “Now!”

“Umm, well how did you ask your last date? Coz trust me, don’t do anything like that otherwise she’ll murder you in your sleep.” He winked with a laugh. “Maybe, I don’t know.. fuck.. just do something cheesy like grab a box of donuts and write out will you go to prom with me?”

I laughed. “I didn’t go to my prom because the girl I wanted to take was here and her brother would have killed me if I asked to take her back then.” I smiled and then thought. “I got it I need to make a phone call and set up dinner can you go check on her please I’ll be right back.”

“You’re right, we would have all killed you for wanting our underage sister.” He laughed, walking off “alright lily, grab a chook that you want for dinner tonight.”

I scrunched my face as I held Henny “that is so disturbing! Where’s Gunnar?” I asked.

“Oh he left, he will be back later.”

“So much for our day of hot sex.”

“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.”

After I got dinner all planned I smiled at myself. I hand them out a special question in the fortune cookie. I was happy about it I just hoped lily like it too. I got back to her parents house and smiled. I winked at Tom. “Hey baby, sorry I was getting dinner set up to make up for all my stupidness and not knowing about prom. I hope you forgive me.” I was purposely not asking knowing she was probably getting upset.

“Forgive you? The only way I’ll forgive you is by you taking me to Disneyland for the night.” I rolled my eyes playfully. “Kidding, but that would be so much fun to do.” I threw my arms around him “You’re forgiven I guess.”

I smiled. “Okay, so movie and dinner here after I take you home to love on you alone?” I asked loving that she wasn’t mad but wishing she would be a little so I can come in tonight with my prom proposal.

“No I don’t think I’m up for going anywhere, I’d rather just stay here and watch a movie.” I sighed. “I need to talk to mum and dad anyway, they’ll be here soon no doubt.”

I nodded “okay we’ll go get comfy and pick out a movie I’ll order dinner for us Chinese okay? God I hoped I knew she loved this place.

“Yum! Yes I’m hungry.” I was starving actually. We went inside, and I grabbed up some forks. I sat down, on the floor turning the tv on as Tom came over and joined us. “Yum.” He reached over and took the fortune cookies from me shoving them in his mouth.

I started at him “What Th fuck Tom those were your sisters!” I was upset but he took it as I was being funny. I ran my hand over my shaved head not happy what the hell am I to do now.

“Sorry, I love fortune cookies.” He winked, unscrunching the paper to read them “hmm let’s see, will you go to pr- oh shit.” He mumbled realising why h read pissed. “Alright, plan B. I’m out of here.” He got up taking off fast.

“It’s ok babe. Im used to him taking my food anyway.” I shrugged, playing with my food. “So where are we going this weekend? Do I need to pack warm or cold clothes?”

I groaned.  “Fuck!  It’s not okay.  That fortune cookie had a question I wanted to ask you.”  I sighed and looked at her.  “It was asking you to prom.”  I put my head down ashamed I failed at this.

“Was you asking because you wanted to, or because you had no clue it was on this weekend and it was a last minute attempt.” I shook my head standing up “It’s too late to go now. Tickets are sold. Dresses are sold out and I would be the laughing stock Gunnar.”

I stood up with her. “I want to go I didn’t get to go to mine because I wanted to ask you and I knew then your brothers weren’t ready to accept us being together.” I sighed and grabbed her hands. “I really want to go I’m sure we can get some tickets and I’m sure we can find a dress, I think we need this. The. We can show all those idiots just what they are missing.”

“We? Is this about you needing to make up for yours? I though you can’t be anywhere with a lot of people.” He was meant to start chemo, it wasn’t fair. “You deserve someone who isn’t mentally fucked up.”

“What the hell are you taking about?” I was so pissed now, not at her but at all the people who made her feel this way. “I can go I’ll just need to wear a mask and be careful plus I think you should at least show up and dance with me then we can leave and make all those idiot losers wish they weren’t such assholes.”
