“It hurts, I feel like a failure because I want this so bad and I can’t give it to you. But i also know that as soon as we fall pregnant, it’s most likely I lose another baby. If that happens with this one, I would like to have my tubes tied so there’s no more going through the hurt.” I hope he understood.

I smiled. “Okay.” I kissed her. “No worries I’m happy with you and the kids trust me. I love you so much no need to worry okay.” I didn’t know if it was safe but I wanted to make gently love to her, considering her ribs and my sore body all I had was slow. I laid her back and kissed her softly.

I smiled and kissed her. “I’m perfect! I’m home where I should be inside you.” We slowly made love and it was perfect. We dozed of and I loved her even more.

Another week went by slowly and Bo was still as protective as ever, telling me I couldn’t do anything and especially no lifting. I laid in the bed, and lifted my shirt to see a bump poking out. It made me smile, and think that this actually could be the real thing. “Bo, come look!” I called out as he was standing in the bathroom.

I jumped almost cutting myself. I walked out still face covered in shaving cream. “Baby what is it I almost cut myself!” I said smiling. Looking at her lifted shirt her little belly. I smiled more. “Wow!”

“It’s growing, slowly but it’s there.” I smiled up at him. “You look adorable by the way, but I hate that you shave your beard.”

I smiled and walked over leaning down to kiss her . “I had to because I’m going to talk to my captain about a position less dangerous. Thought I should clean up for it.” I kissed her belly leaving shaving cream on her.

I smiled. “Mmmm show me baby!” I groaned kissing her more not caring I was going to be late I wanted her. A hour later I was back in the bathroom and lathering up to shave again.

I walked past him and slapped his ass on my way to the shower. “I love you, and good luck.”

I watched her shaking my hand. “Baby you be careful I want to see you in bed when I get home!” I knew she hated me telling her this but I wanted to keenher and our baby safe. The kids were good and understood. My mum knew and I don’t know how. I just needed my captain to say yes.

“Good luck.” I yawned, waving him off. Once he had gone, I got up and went down to the kitchen to make something to eat. I was starving and craving big time. There wasn’t any fries in the freezer so I sent him a text - cheesy fries please! With bacon! - then sent another one - make that a extra large, I’m starving. Love you xx - and by the time I had gotten back into bed, I had sent him one more - and a cheeseburger with a caramel thick shake and onion rings -

I was talking to my captain when my phone kept buzzing. He looked at me and I shrugged . “You need to get that son?” I felt stupid there was no way he was going to give me this position. “Sorry sir it’s probably Jane.” I looked and shook my head and laughed. “Cheesy fries extra large, cheeseburger onion rings and a extra thick caramel shake?” I read out loud and just was amazed. I looked up to a smile on my captains face. “Congratulations son!” Shit! “Oh umm we aren’t telling anyone because she may um you know miscarry again. But um thank you.” After a while I left with the prostitution the captain said a family man deserved Thai one so I got it. I stopped got her food and walked straight up to our room smiling. “Baby I got it!”

“Oh my god you’re the best.” I groaned, holding my hands out for the food. “Sorry, I would have driven myself but my boyfriend has taken my car keys from me.” I smiled. “How did your job go? Do I finally get to know what it’s for?” I asked eagerly, smelling the fries and moaning with half rolled eyes “Yes this smells so good!”

I smiled. “I got it! I’ll still be going out with the crew but, I won’t be going in the fire I will be giving orders! It’s safer for us and the family!” I leaned down and kissed her hard . “And don’t get mad but my captain knows, I didn’t tel him I was just repeating what you wanted and he knew, he said congratulations!”

I smiled, kissing him again “congratulations, that’s amazing Bo and I won’t deny my stress levels have just dropped to an all time time now that I know you’re not going inside the burning houses.” I couldn’t have been happier. “I think your mum knows too, she keeps bringing me peppermint tea and saying it’s good for sickness.” I laughed and looked at the food “anyone would know I was pregnant just by looking at me right now.”

I smiled. “We should get you looked at baby, just to see how things are. I can have the doctor come here if you want. That way nobody will know. But we should get you looked at it’s been a few weeks since the accident.

“Yeah I’m interested to know how far along I am, I’m guessing the baby is growing judging by my hunger and growing belly.” I raised my shirt and laughed “you must be really turned on looking at this.”
