It was instant relief as I felt the baby slide out and fell back against the bed “it’s a girl.” The midwife smiled placing her against my chest crying. I had tears as I kissed her small tiny head.

“A girl!” I said looking at Jane holding her. “We have to name her!” I said smiling and leaning down to kiss them both. “She is so tiny!”

“Sienna.” I smiled, as she found her way to my breast. “She’s perfect.” I said looking up at him. “How are you doing? Are you ok?” I mocked with a soft laugh.

I smiled. “Perfect! I can’t wait for Reid and Luca to meet her. Sienna! I love it I love you I can’t believe you have done this three times wow!” She was incredible. I wanted to hold her but she was eating now.

“She’s attached really well,” I smiled as she had fallen asleep. “How about you hold her, I need a shower and to clean myself up.” The doctors and midwifes had left us alone and we were now in our room with our newborn. I was so in love, and more so with him.

I was handed her and I couldn’t believe how small she was. When Jane walked away to clean up I sat down in the chair and talked to her. “You have a amazing mum! And wait till you meet your big brother and sister they are awesome too! We will all take good care of you sienna and we will love you so much.” I kissed her head and was amazed I had a baby.

I walked back in my clean pyjamas feeling so much better and laid down on the bed. “You look good with a newborn in your arms.” I pointed out, taking a photo of the two of them. “I forget how little they can be.”

“Little is a understatement! I feel like I’m going to break her!” I looked up at her “Your so amazing and beautiful you know that! I love you!”

“You better love me. I just broke my vagina for you.”’I laughed, completely in awe. “She’s our little miracle baby.”

I nodd d. “She is isn’t she.” I smiled and kissed her little head again. “Oh Luca is going to be so happy she has a sister! And man Reid will have his work cut out for him protecting them both!”

“That he will. He’s probably going to be happy with a sister anyway,” I smiled “our little family is complete.” I laid back closing my eyes “you should call them, I’m sure your mum is worrying herself sick.”

I smiled . “Okay but I don’t want to wake her.” I said in all seriousness. She was just so cute sleeping.

I smiled with a soft laugh “she won’t wake unless she is hungry for milk, trust me. You’ll hear her when she wakes. Or possibly not, you are a heavy sleeper.” I sat up to have a drink of water.

I smiled and got my phone to call. “Hey mum! Just wanted to let you and the kids know, yeah I’ll wait.” I looked at Jane “she’s putting me on speaker phone. Yeah I’m here! So I’m happy to tell you that sienna was born and is a happy little sleeping little girl.” My mum squealed. And the kids said awe.

“Hopefully we’re home soon.” I added in, as she began to wake and cry, then made a sound that made Bos face go from happy to WTF was that. “Oh daddy, someone needs a change.”

I looked at her! “How do we do that?” I said hearing laughter on the phone. I never held a baby let alone changed one. I was shaking my head and not caring. “No really how do you do that? Can’t we just hose her off?”

“Hose?” I laughed sitting up and climbing out of bed to to grab her baby bag. “Ok, watch and learn then you can do the next.” I lifted her up and laid her down on the bed, unbuttoning her little white suit with care. Her diaper wasn’t bad, the sound worse than the black mess “she’s cleaning her stomach out. It won’t be like this all the time, just the first couple.” I smiled wiping her bits clean. “You have to remember to move fast because babies have no control and you can get covered if you’re holding their legs up and they decide to spray.”

“Spray?” I was so confused. “What do you mean spray?” I watched and didn’t think I’d ever be able to do this.

“Well, babies have like diarrea so imagine them making a mess mid change and covering your shirt” I giggled “trust me you’ll get used to it, well you kind of have to given you’re a dad to a newborn” I winked licking her yo and sitting to feed again

I nodded. “Ummm I’m not sure about the changing thing. I mean it sounds gross if she sprays me we will end up in the bath cleaning off.” I shivered “oh god that’s just gross.”

“Bo, grow up.” I half rolled my eyes “you’ll change her and it’ll just become a natural thing.”

I looked at her. “Hey now I’m grown enough.” I walked over to her. “I must say that is beautiful watching you feed her.” I kissed Jane and sat down next to her.

I smiled leaning my head against his chest “she’s feeding well, just wait until my milk comes in and my boobs fill right up. They’ll be double this size.” I laihjed

My eyes got huge. “Really! Damn can I play with them?” I was being so stupid but hell I had to ask.
