With seven kids! The quads who are turning 18 (max, noah, sam, Finn ) . Their daughter who is 16 ( Lily ) and the twins who are 15 ( Tom, Andy ) . It's been a crazy ride and they stopped breeding after they lost a son to stillbirth.

Now, Charlotte runs the café with Lily working there after school to help out.

Tanner has his boxing gym that he runs and trains but never fights.

How do the two of them make it work? is it still as passionate as before?

and... what happens when old past troubles come knocking on their door.

“Really again Tanner?” I shook my head tears leaking from my eyes. “You’re fucking kidding me. After all you put me through.” My heart couldn’t take this. “I’m your wife, who just gave birth to your daughter who died before she could come into the world. You walked out on me.” I stood up, tears running down my cheeks. “You have seven kids and was planning on taking your death to run away with your non dead sister. So I’ll save you the misery of being with me for any longer than you don’t want to be. I want a divorce.” And I walked out leaving him there as the kids walked in

I was so confused she was beautiful but there was no way she was my wife. She called me tanner kind of cool Name though. Then all these young people walked in. “Ummmm can you tell me who that was?” I said gesturing to the door.

The boys looked at each other and rolled their eyes “clearly that was mum, and she’s more than mad at you. Anyway, how’s the head old man?”

I looked at them and shook my head. “Seriously who the hell was that and who are you?” I said not liking these people telling things that made no sense. “Look I’m not married and I would like to know where I am and how I got here!”

“Well I’m sorry dad but that’s your wife and we’re your kids and mum just had another baby that died and you kind of accused her of screwing uncle James before taking off and she’s really upset and mad. I’m surprised she didn’t smother you with the pillow.” Tom sighed “anyway, when can we take you home? Oh you’re a billionaire retired boxer who now owns a gym and you and mum have sex like ten times a day if you’re wonderi ng.”

I looked at him. “Umm I’m not going anywhere with you!” This kid was crazy. “Although I do like the thought of having sex like that specially with that hot ass woman, she sure was angry but I think she and you all are crazy.”

“You’re gross.” He groaned and pulled out his phone taking a photo. “This is what you look like- and this is you and your family” he handed him the phone to scroll through photos and videos of them all together and then showed him his mums Facebook with the photos she posts of them two, and noticed a lot of messages saying how they’re sorry for their loss. “Anyway, you are coming with us because you’ve got no one else, and you need us to get back on your feet. Mums probably at the lake staying so you’re coming home.”

I kept looking at the photos,  that was me but I didn’t know these people,  “you could of photo shopped these!  If you say I’m a billionaire you could be after my money,  I don’t know if I should believe you.”  I was tired.  I didn’t know who I was and no one has told me exactly where I was.  “Besides that hot woman you say is my wife doesn’t want to be she said she wanted a divorce.”

“Well I wonder why.” Sam groaned “because you left her to give birth alone then fucking take off and say nothing” he put his phone away and looked at his brothers. “Alright sleep up and hopefully when you wake wake up you remember us”

I looked at him. “Well I do need to sleep and something for my head. But as far as remembering I can’t say I will. Sorry dude.” I closed my eyes and damn if that woman didn’t pop into my head. She was so beautiful but so sad. It hurt me to think how said she was. Soon I dozed off.

“I’m not leaving him!” Lily yelled at her brothers. “He needs is as much as mum!” She turned to see her mum standing there. “Sorry mum but you heard the doctor! He has a server head injury, he was on his way here back to you and you going to walk away from him just like he did you! I can’t leave him I want he doesn’t know who he is.” She cried.

“Go home with your brothers, if I remember you’re still grounded and that still stands.” I said quietly and looked at the boys “go home, make sure the house is spotless and I’ll bring your father back there for him to rest and recover.” I walked into the room and took a seat by the bed. I was hurt but wouldn’t do anything about it until he was better. My heart was just broken.

I woke some time later no kids around but damn that beautiful woman was there. “God I don’t know what he did but I wish he didn’t cause your really to beautiful to look so sad.” I sighed and sat up a little. “I know it doesn’t mean anything as I really don’t know you or at least my head doesn’t but if there is anything I can do tell me. I’ll try. Those kids really believe I’m their dad had some convincing photos but I just don’t remember any of it. I’m sorry. I don’t remember you. I wish I did but I don’t.”

“It’s fine. You don’t need to remember me.” It hurt that he didn’t know who I was or what we’ve been through. I was so mad with him beyond words but there was no use yelling because it didn’t matter. He wanted to leave and didn’t even know about his dead daughter. “But you will be coming home with me and staying, not at the house. My brother is watching the kids. We will go to the lake house and you can rest there until you get some memory back. You’ll have your own space, and don’t even think about going out and having sex or drinking. I will break your jaw if you do.” I said seriously. That was a pain I couldn’t deal with.

I looked at her. “Why do you say I don’t need to remember you?” I looked st her. “You’re so sad, it’s a shame I’m telling you you’re too beautiful to be sad, you need some fun.” I looked outside and sighed. “A lake house really! Can I fish there? That sounds like fun hey you like to fish?”

“Of course I enjoy fishing, it will be nice and quiet for you. You can catch me some fish to cook for dinner.” I smiled weakly. “I’ve brought you some clothes to change into and then we can leave. Do you have anything that you need?” I asked standing up, gathering my bag and the paperwork. “I need to stop by the morgue to pick up something before we leave.”

“The morgue? Umm you shouldn’t have to go there alone I’ll go with you.” I got up and kind of flashed her my goods. “Sorry I didn’t realize I didn’t have boxers on.” I changed quickly so she wouldn’t say no. I wasn’t going to let her go to the morgue alone no way what kind of man was I if I did. The walk was silent. I didn’t ask why or who just walked with her. As we got there I watched her.

I walked over to the reception and signed the paperwork they gave me and then they handed me a small very little engraved urn with her ashes in it. I didn’t care about crying, it hurt to not be pregnant anymore and not have my husband remember me or anything. I wiped my eyes and turned back “let’s go. It’s a long drive and you don’t know where to go.” I said just wanting him to hold me but it wouldn’t be the same.

Following her out and into the car. “Ummm you want to talk about it?” I asked. “I’m real sorry about your loss, I mean I honestly wish I was who you knew but I don’t know if I’m that person I can just tell you how sorry I am. And possible be here for you if you need me to be.” God I felt like a idiot. I had no clue what she was really dealing with I didn’t really know if I could trust her although the hospital I just left thought I could.

“Don’t worry. It’s not like it was your child.” I couldn’t help myself, because to him it wasn’t his. I pulled the keys out and pushed the button to the SUV and pointed “get in, I’ll stop for food on the way, what do you feel like? Burgers?”

I looked at her. “I’m a little confused here didn’t you say we were married, if so then the child was mine? God that most be terrible I mean I don’t know who I am but the thought of loosing a child guts me.” I pulled her in for a hug. “Sorry.” I let go feeling weird for doing that. “Umm burgers, do I normally eat red meat? It doesn’t sound good to me. Maybe a salad or a veggie burger!”

“Veggie burger?” I scoffed. “You’re kidding right, you’d eat steak for breakfast if I let you. But if that’s what you want” I drive to an in n out place and grabbed his veggie burger and myself a chicken wrap. I drove to the lake, not saying much else. The hug had rattled me, it was like we were strangers. “I’m going to take a shower and probably sleep. You can fish or whatever you like.” I said standing at the main bedroom we shared. “I’ll tale the spare room. You can have this one.”

“No, no you take it I can take the spare.” I turned then turned back around “ugh where is the spare exactly?” I had no clue.
After she told me I went and checked it out and then went back to the living area and sat down rubbing my head. I tried and tried to remember something anything, but nothing I stared at the photos, the guy looked like me and he looked so happy. Then I saw a photo of the guy a woman who looked a lot kind of like him. I shook my head and said. “Man I wish I knew who I was, this guy looked like he had a good life but screwed it up bad.” Sighing. “Whatever he did, hurt that beautiful lady and I can’t imagine wanting to hurt her.”

I slept hard and woke hours later, going to make a hot drink and glancing out the window. I spotted by the dock with a rod in the water. I was going to leave it but couldn’t help myself and I walked down there “caught anything yet? I’m not sure if you’re going to eat fish, have you gone vegan?” I half smiled knowing how much he actually hated people who didn’t eat meat.

I sighed. “I don’t know who I am. Who I was.” I said hating it. “I’m sorry. I can’t answer your questions cause I don’t know I can only tell you want I want now and that’s that.” I felt bad. “I mean I don’t know my name you said tanner and that’s a cool name but it doesn’t sound familiar at all.”

“Your name is Tanner Harvey Cook. You’re 42 and own a gym, you used to box and stopped when your last fight went dirty and you were knocked unconscious and in a coma for 2 years.” I said sitting on the dock staring out at the ocean. I kept talking about his family, and then our children and the ones we’ve lost and our good times and the bad. “So now, I guess you get to be whoever you want to be. You were leaving anyway. So there’s no expectation for you to stick around for us. If you want to go, start over then go do that.”
