With seven kids! The quads who are turning 18 (max, noah, sam, Finn ) . Their daughter who is 16 ( Lily ) and the twins who are 15 ( Tom, Andy ) . It's been a crazy ride and they stopped breeding after they lost a son to stillbirth.

Now, Charlotte runs the café with Lily working there after school to help out.

Tanner has his boxing gym that he runs and trains but never fights.

I pulled back, and looked at him “fuck me Tanner.” I said sliding my hand into his shorts. “I want you to put this inside me.”

I shook my head. “No you don’t, you just said and I quote “last night made you to sore!” Baby it’s okay just kiss me.” I said pushing her against the shelves.

What the hell just happened. I adjusted myself and then waited before walking out. As I did I got looks from the kids and shook my head holding the honey I sometimes put on my waffles. I looked at char wondering what her deal was maybe the pregnancy was getting to her or something. We ate I kissed her then went to take some of the kids to school.

I was annoyed with him, I don’t know why but I just was. First he wanted me and then I gave in and he changed his mind. I went to the store and got the groceries for the week, taking my slow time because this pregnancy was exhausting me. I had a coffee with a friend and the whole time she kept talking about her husband having an affair with a younger woman he worked with. I stopped by the gym on my way home, and took lunch to Tanner, seeing him with a younger girl in her sports bra and tiny shorts laughing. I wondered if he wanted that, missed a woman who was tight and toned. “Hey I brought lunch.” I said with a bag of take out.

I smiled and kissed char. “Thanks baby! I was just about to go and get something.” I looked at her and smiled more. “Char this is our new female trainer. Hesi, hesi this is my beautiful wife Charlotte!” I took the bag of food and groaned. “We will talk more later hesi right now I’m taking my wife back to my office.”

“She’s pretty.” I noted, sitting down on the hair opposite his desk and opening my container of salmon and salad. “I bet you’re going to be eager to come to work everyday with her around.”

I looked st her as if she was crazy. “Nah it’s the same shit. I’d rather be home or maybe out on the boat!0. I winkwanna d kidding with her. “But no hedi seems cool she knows her stuff and I’ve heard good professional things about her.”

I just stared at him, she was practically still a child and he’s heard professional things about her. “Well then, I’m glad you have done your homework.” I don’t know why, but i hated feeling this way. “I should go, just let me know if you’re going to be home late. I’ll put your dinner in the oven.” I said not wanting to eat anymore.

I looked at char like she was crazy.  “Um why would I be home late?”  I asked not getting her sudden mood changes.  “What’s going on char?  Your being different, like this morning I wanted no I needed you but you told me you were sore and then got pussed because I wouldn’t make love to you in the pantry?  I mean come on why would I want to knowing you were already hurting!”  I sighed.  “Maybe it’s this pregnancy I don’t know but your mood changes fast.  I’m going through so much right now I need you.”

“My mood changes fast?” I couldn’t believe he just said that. “Yes Tanner, it’s the pregnancy that’s why I’m acting all crazy. You could be a bit more considerate towards how I’m feeling too you know, it’s always about what you need and what you want. I do everything to make sure you’re ok, to make sure the kids are ok. Who does anything for me? Do you think I enjoy feeling like this? Instead of trying to be supportive you just tell me I’m too hormonal for you. I know you’re hurting, I’m hurting to. But all you want is sex, maybe I want to just be held for once without being told that you need to forget and it turns into sex. I want my husband to hold me and that be enough for him.” I stood up with tears in my eyes “go enjoy your new employee, it sure looked like she was making you forget when I walked in here.” I turned to walk away, on the verge of breaking down.

I stood there just staring at the door. What the he’ll did she mean by that? I sat down and ran my hand over my face. Do I not hold her, has it really been only about what I need? Fuck I’m a dick a big fat fucking dick! I got on my computer and ordered her favorite flowers and chocolates to be delivered to her at home. I had them write

I finished up work a little early and went to search out my sister who I know is still alive and I’m going nuts over it. Coming up empty handed and noticing I was running a little late which was only going to piss char off. Walking into the house I heard the kids talking and walked further in to sit and eat. But before I sat I went and kissed chars head. I looked around but didn’t see the flowers till after when I was helping clean up she threw them in the trash. Sighing I didn’t know what to do she didn’t say a word to me just walked away.

I wanted to ask why he was late home but was too tried to fight. I sat in the living room after doing everything, cleaning and cooking, making school lunches and then irioning and folding away clothing. I was exhausted. I was sick of nagging the kids about tidying up, and helping out. My heart hurt from losing Taylor, my head was confused about his mother. I just didn’t know what to do anymore. I walked out to the kitchen, to make a hot tea only to find the kids had made dessert and left a mess everywhere. Ice cream left out and half melted, toppings spilt and sprinkles were on her floor. I just lost it and felt even more like their personal slave. “I’m leaving. I’m done. I’m sick to death of cleaning up after you all. You’re old enough to know better.” I didn’t yelled, as I walked outside finding them around the fire pit with music playing. “I’m not your slave. When was the last time someone cooked me dinner? Or done something I wanted to do?” I then looked at Lily, “you’re notngoing anywhere. You’re home this weekend and I don’t care if you hate me. You can help your father.” I walked inside and packed a bag.

I was in my office when I hear the shouting from the kids walking out I looked at them. “Dad salmething is wrong with mum she came out saying she was leaving and that I wasn’t aloud to go anywhere because I have to help You this weekend! What did you do?” Lily yelled. I was so confused. I walked away and went to find char packing. “Char what are you doing? Why is lily yelling at me? What’s going on?”

“What’s going on? Our children are entitled lazy brats who don’t clean anything up.” I shook my head. “I am about to loose my mind Tanner. So I’m going to the lake for a few days of peace and quiet.” I turned to him “he flowers were beautiful, but they were only brought because i told you how upset I am. Maybe you should have been home earlier to give them to me yourself.”

I sighed. “I’m sorry I was out-“. Fuck I couldn’t tell her. “I was running behind lost track of time I’m sorry it won’t happen again just please you can get peace and quiet here you don’t need to leave.”

“You was out?” Great so he was out having time for himself while I was here. Was he seeing someone else to fullful his needs? “I feel like I don’t matter anymore. I have to ask you to take me away, I have to ask for your attention. I make so much effort to do everything for you to make it known I care. Im lonely.” I said with tears running down. “I need more than sex daily. I blew you at a funeral because I know you need that to help you, but I need actual comfort and to feel needed in other ways.” I zipped up the case and looked at him “do my job for the weekend and see how crazy you turn out to be.”

I stared at her she felt lonely wow I must of really fucked up this time. Never have I mad eher feel alone. “I’m so sorry char.” I said but she didnt say anything and kept walking not even an I love you. She just left.

I called and called but she didn’t answer I wanted to make sure she made it. I texted. -I know you don’t want to talk to me but can you at least text me letting me know you made it, I love you Char- I sighed putting my phone up after I saw the mess and made the kids clean it up I sat in my office staring at my phone.

I arrived at the lake. It was dark and I lit the fire before changing into my pyjamas. I boiled the kettle on the stove and made a hot tea, noticing my iPhone lit up with a text. I sent him a reply - made it. Love you - and sent that. Maybe I was just too old for another baby. I sat on the couch watching the tv, before falling asleep.

When I saw she made it I sighed relieved but sad because I wanted her here, there it is again I. Maybe I was selfish . I started my computer up and started to look into things like my mother and Taylor she had to be close she wouldn’t just leave not without her kids.

Lily snuck out. She wasn’t going to miss that party, and man did she drink a lot. She was so drunk, and snuck back home before 5am, making it to her bed passing out immediately. 

“Dad!! Breakfast!” Cole called out. “We’re hungry! We’ve got a game to go and play!” 

“Hurry up! We can’t be late!” Sam added and groaned when Tom punched him “fuck off!” He laughed hitting him back. 

Andy walked inside with his soccer boots on, leaving a trial of mess and called out “I’m getting a lift with Richard. See you at the game!” And off he went.

I groaned and walked out of my office not sleeping good and when I walked out I was pissed “what the ever fuck! You kids can make your own food and where did this mud come from! Where the hell is your sister!” I yelled not needing this. Char was right these kids didn’t do shit okay those are my words but still true. I tossed some bowls on the counter and then pulled a box of cereal “here have at it!” Then went to clean up the mess everyone says wasn’t theirs. Someone claimed it was anys and he was gone already. I needed to have lunch with James and tell him I may have found something.

I woke up feeling sick and then all of a sudden panic set in. I ran to the toilet and threw up hard. My head pounding. I couldn’t stop crying. I’m pregnant!! I had a shower and cleaned myself up, then went down to find dad in the kitchen cleaning up. “Daddy.. I think I’m pregnant. I swallowed some umm, you know.. stuff boys don after putting my mouth around it and I feel really sick.”

I chocked on my coffee I had just had a argument with James “Excuse me you think your what?” I was so mad. “If you swallowed your not pregnant damnit lily you shouldn’t be doing anything like that.” I needed Char I needed to hold her like she wanted “your grounded and we will be taking about his with your mother you are to watch your brothers an not leave.” I got up and went to head to the lake house.


I knocked and waited till char came to the door. “Sorry I didn’t know what else to do your husband is going crazy.” I walked in and looked at her “so you know he is thinking Taylor is alive!” I was so upset. “Damnit char we saw her she isn’t alive and he is going crazy.” I pulled her to me “I just need a hug sorry just hug me.”

I looked in and saw them in a embrace and didn’t know what to do so I left and went back home.

I pulled away, confused. “She is dead. Why would he think this?” I sat down feeling faint. “Why would she fake a death? That’s just cruel to do, to her children to you and Tanner.” I couldn’t believe she would be so heartless to do something that crazy. “But it makes sense, Tanner is always busy and on the computer in his office, I mean I thought he was watching porn at first because he would turn the screen off whenever I walked in.” I rubbed my stomach sighing “I should go talk to him.” I said just grabbing my keys and phone, running to the car. I drove to the soccer game, and went to find him with Lily standing by his side. “Tanner!”
