"You're kidding! Wow, I didn't see that one coming. How come she didn't call you?" I gazed down at the sleeping baby still drinking. "We could have come out and help her."

"Yeah i told her that she should have informed me. She said she didn't want the island in the first place. I went through the books and even random people are allowed here now"

"You know what, I think you should let Noah take over. He knows what has to be done, and he's worked with you. Maybe this could be a start for him, that's if Camilla doesn't want it." I suggested clipping my. Ra back up.

"Yes, but then he'll has to stay here away from us. Are you ready for this?"

"No." I groaned shaking my head. "What if you stayed a couple extra days to sort things out and then manage the island from home?"

"Yes i can do that but without staying longer. I'll start on it tomorrow, i'll tell camilia about it over lunch"

"Just remember it's Christmas and we're on a holiday too, you need to schedule time for me and the boys." I stood carefully lifting Ruby who was still sleeping and faced him "I miss Lily, they're on their own this year. At the snow of all places."

"Well we did tell them to come here. They like their privacy those two, and i don't blame them after everything"

Feeling remorseful?" I asked pulling off my top and looking for a new one. "You're right though, they are happy doing their own little thing and that's probably why they're so good together. They both have busy jobs but they don't let it come between them."

"That's good, as long as they both don't change towards each others." I turned to look at her "he surprised me you know, i never thought he'd be a good husband or a good dad. The CIA thing didn't really change my mind about that, but now i think he's an ok guy"

"Don't ever let him hear you say that." I softly laughed "you don't want to loose your rep as a tough father in law." I smiled "just remember to go easy when Ruby starts dating."

I looked at ruby and smiled "oh this one is staying with me" i grinned

"Yeah I think so too." I placed a kiss against his heel. "She might be the quietest baby out of them all, and best sleeper." I added picking up the change bag. "Alright, we should go and visit before someone comes searching." I laughed

I put Ruby in her transat and held it as we made our way to Nana's. Once there i couldn't see Noah "where's Noah?" I asked fin

"In his room" he shrugged "he hasn't come down since he got back from surfing."

"That was hours ago." Ally frowned at the time then looked at Steven before taking off up the stairs to his bedroom. She noticed the made bed and his bag missing, turning just as steven came in behind her. "He wouldn't take off unless it was important.. or to be with Serena."

"You mean he went to see her? And you're just going to let it happen without any fuss?" I asked curiously.

I turned with a slight smile "It's the exact same thing you would have done for me. We've helped Noah all we can, from now on he can deal with any consequences like an adult." I walked over to him once again "but if you ever find out he's touched alcohol or drugs again, you kick his goddamn ass."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her "i sure will now that i have permisssion to do so" i leaned in and kissed her softly "come on i'm starving"

"Me too, strangely I'm craving mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce." I laughed, biting his lower lip "take me out on a date tomorrow? On the yacht."

"I was planning on taking the kids but we can go just us" i grinned kissing her before taking her hand and going downstairs where everyone was.

"Take the boys, we can go another day." I assured him with a kiss on the cheek. I noticed Camilla in the kitchen watching and I looked away going over to check on Ruby who was sleeping.

"Oh bless the little angel, she is just perfect Ally." Nana smiled placing the casserole on the bench top. "Steven, I do hope you're changing diapers this time."

I grinned "he's very hands on, loves to change her."

I smiled joining them and kissing nana's cheek "are you feeling better?"

"Oh don't worry about me. I'm fighting fit." She brushed him off. "Camilla told me you're staying until New Years, that'll be lovely. Where is Lily? I want to hear all about her trip away."

[Demona]

"Lily didn't come with us, she went to their snow cabin with her husband" i said a bit sad about it as i sat down "do you want to come and live with us in New York"

"what?" Camilla glared "No she isn't leaving."

"At our house?" I asked steven, surprised.

Nana smiled "I suppose I could come visit. It would be nice to see my great grand children growing up."
