I blushed rolling my eyes "maybe I do know the meaning of them and that's why im wearing one." I couldn't help the sarcasm.

[Demona]

I glared at her and shook my head "maybe you're not my Lily anymore"

His words hurt, more than ever as I stared out the window. "Well I'm just a slut remember, dad." I reminded of him calling me one publicly at mums dinner. "How long are we away for?"

"For as long as it takes to fix the mess you made. I still can't believe anyone could forget they own an island!"

[melbender]

"I've been busy." I gritted through teeth. "You have no idea how run off my feet. I'm being pounded daily and it's exhausting."

[Demona]

"Enough Lily!" I raised my voice at her and took out my newspaper "i don't need details of what happens between you and your husband."

[melbender]

Jumping at his voice, my heart was racing from fright. I frowned glaring "I didn't even mention Masons name." I sighed heavily. "Take a chill pill, there's no reason to flip out. I was only telling you work was crazy for me."

[Demona]

I didn't answer her or said any other word until we were in the airplane. I texted Ally -in the jet, taking off in minutes. Love you-

Ally smiled texting him back - I love you xx call me tonight when you're alone in your room, I'll let you watch-

"Did you change the inside? It's different since Mason and I went for our honeymoon on here." I pointed out taking a seat by the window.

[Demona]

"Yeah your mom changed the design. You know how she likes to change things"

[melbender]

"I bet you're glad she hasn't decided to change you for something new yet." I teased, picking up my laptop and turning it on to go through family photos of our holiday away and Christmas.

[Demona]

"Mhmm don't worry about that you're stuck with me lily." As soon as we were in the air i lay down closing my eyes.

[melbender]

The flight was silent and I emailed Mason telling him about how great things were going. After an hour, I was hungry and went to the fridge to get some snacks and had the stewardess prepare us lunch. I tapped dad on the shoulder waking him "it's lunch time."

[Demona]

I stretched a bit and got up to go sit and eat with her "i was wondering, how is your restaurant doing? Are you broke or just the island?"

[melbender]

"Im not broke" I said a whisper wide eyed. "Mason fixed that problem, he got the money back."

[Demona]

"Did he?" I raised an eyebrow "that was quick even for a CIA spy. Anyway you'll show me your accounts once we're done eating"

[melbender]

"Why?" I frowned picking up my sandwich. "I don't see why you need to see them, I have everything you've given me still. My restaurant is seperate from those accounts and there's plenty, and then our joint account. I'm not stupid daddy."

[Demona]

"Yeah you're not and yet you managed to loose an island" i shook my head "well i'm not using my money to fix it. So i'll need to see your accounts and see if i can fix it or not"

[melbender]

"fine." I glared opening my bag, snatching out the bank statements and our account details and then stood walking over to him, dropping the Manila file at him "enjoy!" I turned walking back to my seat and sitting with a frown. I was sure he only wanted to snoop.

[Demona]

I finished my meal and took the envelop "joint account" i put it aside without looking "i don't need that. Hummm business account" i frowned looking at all the numbers "lily. Your restaurant is separate from the island but you're lucky it's still running. What the hell happened! You're broke! Tom has more money than you!" I looked at her personal account and groaned "who did that? The advisor i told you not to employ?"

I shrugged ashamed. "Yes. He hacked my account and tried to take everything, Mason is fixing it so don't worry. He's got the man tied in the basement as he plucks teeth and snaps bones without a second thought while he gets information from him." I kept my face straight sounding serious.

[Demona]

I looked up at her shaking my head "he's smarter than that. Stop making a joke out of everything lily! This is bad, really bad!"

[melbender]

I rolled my eyes "you think I don't know this?! You think I intentionally let this happen? I had no idea until they called at Christmas." Fighting back tears "can we just stop talking about it, all I want to do is sort this out and get home to my husband and daughter."

[Demona]

"Yes of course that all you want. You don't care about anything else anyway and here is the proof. You know, if you kept an eye on things and didn't go away for 4 months with your phone off this might have not happen! You came back from your vacation first thing you should have done was checking the books but no, you have an advisor for that and he stole everything."

[melbender]

"You have no idea about anything." I shot back hurt. "What would you even know about any of my businesses? I'm working every damn day, just because you think I'm holidaying around, doesn't mean that I am. And sorry if I think my family is more important than work, something you wouldn't know about because all you ever did was work."
