Bradley sped down the highway, frowning as he noticed a car speeding up behind him. The boys crying he turned and yelled at them to shut the fuck up and be quiet. Once turning back, he swerved to miss a car as he went over to the opposite side of the road and hit the bridge, the car spun and smashed into the barrier, flipping the car and landing upside down in the lake as Rainer poured down heavily. Jumping from the car we both ran to the car. "Shit! The boys." I jumped into the lake and swam as fast as I could with brad following we each went for the boys first. Getting them out was a challenge I had Bradley hitting me in the head when he was trying to free himself. As I finally got

Four months later, I visit Zander in the hospital with both boys at home as taking Noah nowhere is challenging and Tom just won't speak. I kept hearing her talk, I wanted so bad to say something to open my eyes. She sounded so sad every time i heard her. I had no clue what was going on. Why the hell cant I open my eyes! I yelled inside me. I was falling back under and not hearing her anymore.

A while later I heard her again only now she sounded pissed. God I loved when she got pissed she was so sexy. I felt a twitch in my hand and waited till I felt another and another. I can move! Now if I could speak to her or open my damn eyes so she would know I hear her.

I looked at her and tried hard to grab her and hold her. "Wha-what ha-happened?" I mangaged to get out. I was so confused on why I was here and not at home with her and our kids. Shit our kids . They must be so scared.

"You foolish but incredible man.. you saved my boys." I wept softly, bringing his hands to my mouth and kissing them. "You saved them from drowning.. remember, Bradley had taken them from school and you went after him. Oh Zander, you've been in a coma for three months."

I looked at her confused. "I...I don't remember any of that. But our boys are safe and back home? Wh...what happened to Bradly?" I needed to know everything I was so lost and wanted to be home with our kids.

I felt my eyes sting with tears as my gaze shifted to the bed. "Bradley was shot trying he run, he died during surgery." I wasn't sad for him, he took my boys. "Noah.. he's-" a sob escaped my throat "he's paralysed from the waist down. He's In therapy and doing well but it's hard and then Alex, he hasn't spoken a word to anyone since the accident. He won't leave the house, he's just so afraid." I reached for a tissue to dry my eyes "mike and molly are really good when they come stay, your ex wife surprisingly has been helpful too."

I ran my hand down my face. "Our boys I need to see them." I said then it dawned on me. "Why is my ex being nice and why are our kids going with her?" They should be with Em not Lisa. (Can't remember her name)

"We aren't married.." I whispered. "I have no legal rights to them. She's got primary custody, the judge ruled so a week after the accident." I was ashamed that o hadn't been in any state of mind to care for anyone.

I nodded. "I want to see them now I need to make sure they are all okay. Can you had me my phone please and gen can you go get our kids too, especially the boys I need to see them all with my own eyes." I was scared shitless especially Noah.

"I-" I shook my head "I can't bring Noah, it's not that straightforward.. the boys can see you once you're home, umm I'll let your ex know you're awake and ask if she could bring them here to see you." I didn't want her near him but she would hopefully stay out of the room. Resting my forehead against his, tears ran down my cheeks "I thought I'd lost you."

I sighed a little upset she wouldn't bring the boys and Mia here. I really really need to see them. "Call her please, and can you let the doctors know I'm awake I want to talk to them too." I said not sure how to feel right now I needed answers and she was only giving me some.

I nodded, afraid I had upset him. "Yes I'll go and get them." I left going to talk to his doctor and while they went in to his room, I called his ex and let her know Zander was awake and asking to see the kids. She was bribing them in right away. My stomach knotted as I walked back to the room with him. "The twins will be here in around ten minutes." My smile faded only a moment as I thought of our twins I lost. He didn't remember.

I watched her smile fade and wondered, "hey don't worry the doctor says I should get my memory back in no time." I smiled trying to lighten up the mood. "I can't wait to see the twins or to get home to see the boys and my mia. I don't really understand why they can't come here."

"Noah is in a wheelchair, it's not a simple task getting him in and out of the car and Alex doesn't leave the house. I'd rather you see them at the house, it's better for them I'm sorry." I sat in the chair beside him as the door flew open.

"Daddy!!" The twins shouted running towards him at once. His ex wife walked over, sitting opposite him on the other side. "You gave us all a fright."

I hugged the twins and smiled over at Lisa. "I still don't know what all happened, but I'm glad y'all are here." I Kissed molly and tickled her belly.

Jealously cursed through me as he said that. He smiled at her. I didn't even get a smile or him glad I was here. "When can I take you home?" I asked giving his thigh a squeeze.

"Daddy can you come to mummy's? We have new rooms there now!" Moly begged with excitement.

I shook my head at em. "No he said maybe tomorrow depends on a few test." I looked down at molly. "Princess you know I'm with Em now not mummy. I do remember that much. But I'm glad your getting along with your mummy. That makes me so happy." And it did because I really wished and hoped Lisa would come back around. I loved her once so I knew she could be a good person. I looked over at Lisa and smiled. "Have they been behaving? Not giving you any trouble?"

Was he really smiling at her like that? I felt as if I was intruding on their family. "I'll just go call your mother, she will want to visit." I whispered and left the room quickly.

Lisa smiled back, giving his hand a squeeze "they've been wonderful. Always asking about you and when they can come visit. Emilia has had her hands full so anything i can do is no problem at all."

I laughed. "It just doesn't seem how I remembered you being before the accident, but that doesn't matter. What matters is you stepped up and helped. Especially helping Em. Putting your differences aside thank you Lisa." I looked over at Mickey. "Have you been helping Em too?" He nodded. "Noah and Alex don't talk to us anymore."

I was against the door listening to them talk and my heart broke. He was going to leave me for her, they would go back to being the perfect family. Drying my eyes, I walked in. "I'm going to go home, your mum is watching the kids for me so she can come visit once I'm back.. tomorrow, I'll-"

"Daddy can we take you home tomorrow? We can come pick you up and drop you off!" Mikey asked eagerly. "Please!"
