i watched her carefully. "You know one is good too!" I smiled and my pa laughed. "Yeah don't don't tell your ma that son!" I smiled at him and looked at Harper and lily.

I smiled, just as the door flung open and Rob stormed inside, glaring "so what, you lock your fucking house up now?" he seethed to Ryder.

i laughed. "Of course!" I said and made no attempt to bate him. He was mad and for what because I licked my house up. "Why would you need to be in Ryder's house son?"

Rob shot daggers at her "I was coming to visit him. is that a problem?" he snapped, angrily. "you know what, fuck you bitch. i can visit him if i want."

my eyes went wide. he was on drugs alright. "so you wanted money to go buy another hit.."

he clenced his fist, shaking it to her as he stepped closer "i'll fucking hit you, whore!"

i shook my head. "I can't sorry." I said looking at him. "I think you need more help than money. I'm sorry I can't help you with your bad habit."

He turned around, and stormed out of the house.

"You did the right thing.. he needs help.." i sadi quietly. "i think he needs to go into rehab, agaisnt his will.." otherwise i feared he'd end up dead.

Ryder and his dad left the room, i picked up Harper, and went to feed her on the couch. "I'm not sure how the pie will taste, it's my first time making one." i smiled at his ma.

we walked in his office and talked got some things straitened and then talked about other things.

"Oh don't you worry sweetie!"

Rob came barging through the doors, holding a shot gun. His Ma screamed as he pointed it at her "give me the fucking money.."

"Ryder!!" i yelled, panicked "oh god.. rob please don't do this.."

"fuck up!" he pointed it at her, then walked closer and aimed at Harper "this was meant to be our baby.. you left me for my brother.. you don't deserve to be happy!!"

i ran out of the office "fuck hey stop this don't do it!" He pointed the gun at me and I stopped. "She doesn't have anything to do with this your mad at me not her come on let's talk about this please."

"I just need one thing from you.. money and that's it!" he yelled, tears running down his cheeks "i don't want to do it bro, but i will" his hand shook with the rifle and he shot. "you took her from me.. you have it all.." and then he pulled the trigger.

i jumped at him but it was to late he shot me in the shoulder. Damnit it hurt. We hit the ground and I groaned I heard ma and lily cry out. My dad yelling in the back ground but j couldn't hear anything through the pain.

His dad had punched Rob hard enough to knock him out and call teh police as well as an ambulance. Harper was screaming her lungs out, i was crying. I rushed over, bending "Ryder.." i cried, seeing all the blood. "oh god.."

i looked up and saw lily crying I tried to talk but I couldn't. I heard Harper and that was it. Then I finally said. "Harper?" Before darkness took me.

I panicked when he passed out. He was taken to the hospital and I followed with his ma while his pa dealt with Rob and the police. Once at the hospital, we had to wait in the waiting room until he was out of surgery.

i heard a constant beep and then remember rob a gun and then Harper screaming my Lily's face. Shit I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. I was in pain.

The doctor walked out. He walked right over to the two women. "Ryder is out of surgery and waking up in recovery he did wel nothing important was hit and will make a full recovery in time he is asking for lily and Harper!"

"Yes!" i was eager to see him. I rushed down the hall to the room, and seen him laying in the bed with monitors around. "oh god," i wanted to cry again. "how are you feeling baby, are you ok? can i get you anything?" i rambled off, worrying. "your brothers in jail."

i grinned. "I'm good sugar now that I know you and Harper are okay. My ma and pa are good too right?" I was worried and didn't care about my pain. "God when I saw him and the gun pointed at Harper I freaked out."

I nodded, slow tears running down my cheeks "I know
Me too.." I couldn't tell him the gun was pointed at his ma and then me first. "I'm sorry.."

"no need for you to be sorry, I'm the one that is sorry you shouldn't have had to deal with that I should have been there from the start. I can't believe he went to that. What was he thinking what was he on?" I sighed he was my brother and could of killed me.
