I dropped our bags on the floor and shook steven's hand before i kissed ally's cheek "come on in" i lead them to the living room.

"well don't forgive him until he's apologised or earned your forgiveness" I sighed holding on to him him. "I hate to see you down, especially if you didn't deserve It..anyway. Lets move on so you can show me the rest of our new home.. I'm eager to see the outside."

[Demona]

I won't" i whispered and jumped off the counter, i held her face and leaned in to kiss her "i know i can talk to you i do." I smiled "i love you more than anything, come on let's have a tour"

It had been two months that i've been working on my dad's divorce and we finally won. I was walking out of court and trying to call lily who was probably busy decorating her new restaurant when a man blocked my way.

"Excuse me sir i need to get to my car"
"No you need to get to Rome"
"What?" I frowned and than saw an eagle pin on his jacket "what's in Rome"

"Your partner has been anducted by the people he was investigating, he needs your help"

I closed my eyes and shook my head "i left the agency, i settled down i have a wife and a baby on the way i can't just leave...that's jmpossible"

"We sent two other agents and they have been compromised, you know these people they know you as Antonio they made deals with you they won't see it coming. Look think about it, think about your friend, he needs you"

Liam managed to get ahold of a cell phone after escaping, breaking the neck of a villian, snatching his phone and running for it, sending mason a text that said his code for help - superman- and he erased it, tossing the phone before he was knocked unconscious by a guard from behind.

I noticed a missed call from Mason, rubbing my now large belly as I walked outside to call him back, he answered and I smiled at hearing his voice "sorry, I was painting.. What's up?"

[Demona]

I was reading the text when lily called "are you home? We need to talk its important and you won't like it one bit"

[melbender]

"saying that to a pregnant woman isn't going to calm my nerves, I'll meet you at the house. I'm leaving now." I said picking up the keys "oh I have some news to tell you too. See you at home, love you." and hung up, he didn't know the sex of the baby yet and I couldn't wait to tell him

[Demona]

I drove home and sat outside waiting for her, i wasn't considering to go but after his SOS text i couldn't leave him there no matter how we left things. I saw her park her car and smiled, seeing her always calmed me "hey baby" i hugged her tightly

"mm I've missed you." I smiled hugging him back tight, placing a kiss against his cheek. "is everything alright, you look worried.. And nothing ever worries you like this."

[Demona]

"I've missed you more" i kissed her one more time before leading her inside "yes i am worried. It's Liam, he's been caught and he is being tortured as we speak. They sent other agents but they have been compromised, as for me they would never doubt me i've already worked with them so they want me to go and get him!" I let it out all at once

[melbender]

I listened, not fully understanding until it all sank in. "wait what?" him leave? "no.. Mason what if you're hurt or worse.." I couldn't bare the thought, but I knew he was going to go save him anyway. "I'm coming with you." I said firmly.

[Demona]

"Oh hell no you're not and you're even staying here, you'll be at your parents house it will be safer just in case they find out who i really am."

[melbender]

"what! no! mason! You can't! I will go crazy!" we haven't spent a night apart. "how can you expect me to let you go, you told me you wouldn't leave me." I whispered, my eyes filled with tears.

[Demona]

"Calm down" i brought her to me and hugged her tightly "i know i promised and want to keep this promise so badly but i can't take you with me lily i can't risk your life please try to understand... Nothing will happen to me i've been doing this since i was 19 don't worry about that"

"it's not just me Mason, what if something happens to you?" I asked quietly, holding his shirt. "maybe I could stay with Nana, but I'm only going to be worried about you. Can't I come and stay somewhere?"

[Demona]

"No because i'll be worried about you and i will loose my focus and might get caught and i don't want that. I'll do my best to get liam back and come home to you and our baby" i touched her belly gently "and i'll try to contact you every couple of days"

[melbender]

"every couple of days? What!" I couldn't handle that. I sat there silently crying, hating this. He was right, it was bad news. "ok.. When will you leave?"

[Demona]

I sighed "now" i my eyebrows knotted together "i'll have to go to the bureau to get my gadgets and intel and everythink liam had reported before leaving...it will take about an hour. After that i'll be going in a private plane with an italian passport in the name of Antonio bennetti, i have a house there and a business. Of course when i left the agency they kept it up but another agent took care of it..."

"This is too much for me to take in right now.." I stood up, walking around with my hands on my hair, sliding over my face. "I feel sick.." I felt like crying my eyes out. "how long will you be gone for?"

[Demona]

I scratched my head "i don't know, a week, maybe two, maybe more i'm not sure"

"umm..." I turned around, facing him "I should call my parents, but we can't say why I'm going to stay with them, so umm I'll make something up," I was sniffing, holding back the tears "promise me you'll not do anything stupid."

[Demona]

"Lily" i walked to her and hugged her "i love you so damn much and i'm really mad that i'm leaving you behind but trust me its for the best." I cupped her face and kissed her "don't cry, don't break my heart" i kissed her again "iwon't and you promise me to take care of yourself and our baby"

"I promise. I'm going to have to lie to my parents, and you need to go along with it. I'll say we fought and I need to stay with them" I said through tears "you'll miss our next appointment, where we find out.."

[Demona]

"Lily please stop crying i beg you" i kissed her and released her " call them after i leave beacuse i know your dad will be storming in the minute you tell them. I just need to pack a few things" i took her hand and we climbed the stairs together, once upstairs i gave her my phone "keep it with you i can't take it, but every time i'll contact base i'll contact you"

Saying goodbye to mason was the hardest thing I'd ever been through. Kissing him goodbye, I couldn't stop crying. I called mum and made up a lie, feeling awful for lying this way to them. When I ended the call, I just sat down and cried.

[Demona]

I finally was able to let go of her and drive to the base, i went in took everything i needed and got on the plane. I had picked a few agents i worked with before, to go woth me. Once on the plane we started planning how we were going to work with this.

I finally managed to clean myself up and go to the bedroom to pack a bag. I picked up a shirt of his, and packed it as well, something to sleep in, so I felt close. I had no way of contacting him and it made me only more depressed. I didn't know how to live without him.
