I dropped our bags on the floor and shook steven's hand before i kissed ally's cheek "come on in" i lead them to the living room.

Mason grinned. He would have to call Paul and thank him. "No we didn't, we just made sure we could have our privacy jason. Why? Is that a problem?"

"It is when ive got her father barking down the phone demanding to know where she is and i cant tell him. Jesus mason" he ran a hand through his hair "stop smiling, this isn't funny."

[Demona]

"Actually it is! No one tracks you down but you track everyone. Looks like now we'll tell you where we are when we want to."

He took a seat unimpressed "you can't do this mason. Its exactly why i didnt want you two together in the first place. Youre leading het astray.. anyway, next Friday you'll spend the night with your mother and i, although she'll be out with ally and serena for lilys surprise bachelorette party, some bar or something im not sure. We'll have something at home so you don't do something you regret the day before youre married."

I shook my head "i won't, but yeah sounds good. I'll bring Liam with me, and Noah of course." I looked through the glass wall separating lily's office from mine and smiled "actually she was the one asking for privacy"

"Who? Lily? That doesnt sound like her" Jason said gazing over to where mason was staring "you know, none of us figured out how she and you managed to get past her security detail when you were sneaking about. Care to tell me that?"

[Demona]

I just laughed "if i told you i didn't know what she told those guys would you believe me? When she was at the guest house it was easy to sneak in, but when she was in public she was the one finding a way."

"Hmm" he chuckled standing up "im still not convinced it was her, shes too naive to pull that off. Then again, under constant watch in the house while Noah went off doing whatever he wanted, its no wonder she went sneaking about. Felt sorry for her at times" he walked over patting mason on the back "as uncomfortable as it is to see her glued to your lap, she's good for you, i didn't see it at first but you balance each other out and well, i havent seen you this happy in a long time." He laughed

I was surprised he said that. "Yes she does make me happy, she's my wgole world, without her i'd be lost" he frowned slightly "that's why i stopped coming to see you, you wanted to take her away from me, take away the only reason i'm living for"

"Mason. I was against your relationship because of her father, christ you have to understand that i work for the man. Protecting his daughter is my job, and you.. well, all i feared was you hurting her and Steve wanting your blood." He sighed "im slowly realising that we may have all been too quick to assume this was just a fling, i can see youre both serious about each other and this relationship. You even passed all his tests." He chuckled.

[Demona]

"His tests? He put me through tests?" I shook my head "i was serious about her since day 1. You all keep saying i'm a playboy, and a womanizer but seriously where were you to see that? You were both here while i was abroad studying, i have 2 degrees in 2 different majors, i worked my ass off for years without using a dime you sent me and you never saw that! All you saw was the 14 year old teenager that kept messing around. Not the man i became.

Chuckling "There were a few tests, one resulted in a waitress getting a broken nose and a catering company being fired." Rubbing his chin, he went and sat down again putting his head in his hands "youre right. I have no idea who you became. I assumed you were just with her because you were told not to be. Ive been a bad father to you, i have no idea about you" he shook his head "I'm sorry Mason."

I shook my head "cross is unbelievabale" i sighed and sat down facing him "it's never too late to see me as i really am." I smiled "how about we start over?"

"He'll do anything to protect her" he stood with a smile "and id like that, how about you and i do something sometime, make it a usual catch up" he offered and put his arms around him, giving him a hug "I'm proud of you getting this firm started. Its a huge accomplishment."

[Demona]

"Yeah we can do that" i smiled hugging him back "thank you it means a lot coming from you. If you ever need a lawyer you know where to come"

"Well it wouldnt make sense to go anywhere else, draw up the paperwork and ill sign. Maybe i could come watch you in court one day." He smiled looking through the glass at lily "anyway, i better let you get back to lunch. Although, icecream for lunch? That girl is one of a kind."

[Demona]

I looked at her table and laughed "yeah, she's special like that" when jason left i went to lily's office "ice cream for lunch? You're craving stuff now?" I chuckled kissing her softly "do you like that our offices are separated by a glass wall? Or do you want me to build a regular wall?"

"Oh no, i like that I can perve on you from in here" i grinned licking the spoon "and i got us sushi but then seen this, and s your baby wanted it so i couldnt say no" standing up, i put the spoon to his mouth "your dad and you looked happy, all good between you both?"

[Demona]

"My baby can have whatever he wants" i leaned and kissed her belly "yeah all good. Turns out the waitress you punched and the catering company woman, they were paid by your dad. Some kind of tests"

I frowned, putting the icecream down and turning back to him, half sitting on the desk "what? Why would he do something like that, that's horrible.. and" I shook my head as it sunk in, feeling sick as i murmured "he was trying to get you to sleep with another woman. "

[Demona]

"He was testing my loyalty to you. Jason said he did it because he's do anything to protect you" i shrugged.

[melbender]

"Well jesus, he needs to stop it." I rolled my eyes "he has way too much time and money on his hands. Luckily, I already know youre loyal"

[Demona]

"Of course i am baby" i kissed her softly "but now i'm super hungry so let's eat.

[melbender]

"Get on your knees then" i teased playfully wknking, and then grabbed him his sushi rolls and a thickshake.

I shook my head "yeah so our next client can see that. Great" i chuckled and sat down "thank you baby"
