Bad boy or good boy

In the small town of population 1500, Raelyn was young and in love with the no good bad boy in town.  He was a couple years older and she has known him her whole life they had their first kiss when she was 13.  She thought they would marry and have babies.  But what she didn't think would happen happened!

After she graduated high school he broke up with her!  Raelyn cried for a week straight. There was talk about him and the bar owner in town but taelyn didn't hear of it.  She stormed to his house as she was suppose to leave for college soon she wanted to go not a virgin and she wanted him to be her first.  She got her wish and some.  When she woke up he was gone! 

A few weeks later right as she found out she was pregnant she heard that the bar owner was too and word was both babies belonged to him!  But nobody knew where he was.  Not even his older brother.  

Now raising both hers and the bar owners boy by herself she got wind that bad boy was in the army from his brother who helped as much as he could with his nephews.  But what happens when bad boy comes back for Raelyn?

I shook my head.  "Why do you say and think that?"  I hated that he thought that way.  "You deserve all of my love and more!  Jed your not a bad person you've made mistakes but we al have.  Mine was telling you how I felt after we made love if I didn't open my mouth we wouldn't have missed out on so much of us being together.  But I don't regret telling you specially if it helped while you were away."

I smiled sad. "Yeah I admit, your declaration scared me. I wasn't expecting that at all." It had freaked me the fuck out. I took her hand, lifting it and placing a kiss "but of course it helped while I was away."

I was no scared I'm putting it all out there and he could take off again.  Maybe I shouldn't risk my heart just yet.  "I'm glad it helped."  I say and look over at the boys.  "It looks like it's going to rain we should get going." I just needed some space to think now.

"Oh alright. Ill head back to the cabin" i began standing "the boys, anytime they want to come over, you all cam" i said hrabbing my car keys amd phone

I sighed.  There was the indication that I needed he didn't and probably would never feel the way I do about him for me.  I looked up and the storm was coming in quick.  Before Jed could leave the boys rushed over "dad where you going?"  James asked.  I didn't want to disappoint the boys or Jed.  "Well the storm is moving in fast and your father probably has unpacking to do and we" I pointed to both boys "have to get ready for school tomorrow!"  Jared looked
At me then Jed he then quietly said.  "But aren't mummy's and daddy's suppose to live together?"

I smiled sadly. "Yeah I guess so, but your mums right. I should go home and unpack a few things." I wanted to stay but didn't want to push my luck. "What about if I come back I sort some things out? if that's ok with your mother of course?" I asked, looking up to her. She was so beautiful

I smiled.  "That's fine you don't need my permission to come over."  I say not knowing what else to say because we went from everything was okay to just awkwardness.

I got the feeling she wanted me to leave. "Oh ok uh well ill see you then." I leant in and kissed her cheek, pulling awwy i smiled at the boys and hugged them both. "You two have that train sset up and well play it once I'm back. " i suggested and headed down to my truck, waving as i drove out my leg worse than ever. I needed my meds.

I sighed.  He was so different he acted as if he wanted to be with us but didn't all at the same time.  I got the boys home right before the rain hit.  They were playing and I was baking because when I'm upset I back.  John walked into the house and shook his head "what did my brother do now?"  I looked up and tears started to fall.  "He didn't do anything I just don't know if we are what he wants and it hurts."  I say as John takes me in his arms.

I barely made it inside the house before i fell down. Something torn and my leg twisted. I reached for my phone on my pocket and called her, her soft voice answered "i need you.. i love.." i ended up passing out cold.

I looked at john.  "Stay with the boys I have to go."  I was as white as a ghost and John gripped my shoulders.  "What is it?"  He shook me.  "Jed...he...I don't know I need to just get there I'll call."  I say and take off something wasn't right.  I sped the whole way and when I reached his cabin and saw the door open I jumped out and ran.  Then I saw him and called for help right away "Jed!  Jed baby wake up!"  I cried oh god I can't loose him already.  I cried and cried as the paramedics came and moved me out of the way he wouldn't wake up. We got to the hospital and they took him to surgery and I called John to tell him. I sat in his recovery room by myself and waited for them to give me answers or bring him in.

A nurse walked over to her with a sad smile "would you like to come with me. He's asking for you." She gazed over her clipboard "the bullet hadn't been removed the first time, luckily we got it otherwise he may have lost his leg. Hes gping to need to stay off his feet for awhile too. You're able to help right? " she asked with a smile "he did say he was going to live with you but hes under some crazy drugs so i wasnt sure"

I smiled and thought he said that.  Was it the drugs or him actually wanting too.  Oh hell I don't care.  "Yes he will be with us his boys and me."  I said and got up to follow her.  God he is so lucky.  When I saw him I cried and ran over.  "Jed baby are you okay?"

"An i dreaming.. you're an angel coming to rescue me" i reached or to hold her "my dreams you were never to be able to be caught. I love you" i whispered.

I cried more.  "Jed I'm here I'm no angel!  But I'm here baby!"  I grabbed his hand and watched him.  I was so worried.  He was on some high pain meds.  The nurse sat back and watched.

"They'll kill me. They're coming after me" i reached out "youre not real.. you cant be.. you keep me alive" there was no way she was real. I was in war. My eyes grew heavy and i passed out.

"He thinks hes still overseas. He shows signs of PTSD, if you're not able to care for him I'm sure i could find someone else" the nurse wouldn't mind caring for him herself she thought

I gave her a dirty look.  "I think I can look after him thank you very much!"  I looked back at Jed not caring that the nurse still stood there.  "Jed baby!  I'm here I'm really here and I'm not going anywhere.  I'll
Call your brother and have him get some of your things and your gonna stay with us."  I sighed and kissed his lips and laid my head down on his arm.

I woke up with a startle, panicking for a moment as i looked around until i seen her and relaxed. I brought my arm over and held her close "i love you too" i whispered and kissed her softly.

I smiled and plopped my head up and laughed I guess in a way I did say I love you I thought.  "How are you feeling do you need anything?"  I say as that stupid nurse walked back in.  "Oh your up handsome!  How's your pain?"  I glared at her and didn't let Jed get a word out before I said.  "You know I think it's really disrespectful for you to came in and address him that way not just for him but for me and our boys!  So I would like to speak to the head nurse because you eye fucking my husband is getting  ridiculous!"  Okay so he isn't my husband but she doesn't know this and I can't stand her.  I heard a little chuckle from Jed and turned to him.

"Im good, thanks" i told the nurse and she left in a hurry. "So, did i hit my head and forget were married? " i asked pulling ust back down to me "because I'm sure i wouldn't forget something like that "

I smiled.  "Sorry but I just couldn't sit here and watch her flirt with you anymore she was out of line earlier and it just slipped."  My cheeks flushed red and I looked up at him.  "You sure your okay?  I'm worried about you!"

"I'm better now that you're here." I pulled her closer once more. "I don't remember much, but I got the feeling I upset you at the house.. i'm sorry, I just don't know how to do this. I mean I want you and the boys, but I don't want to barge in and make you uncomfortable. tell me what you need from me, and i'll try do that." pausing, as I went to kiss her "i want to be all you need."

"Jed you didn't upset me.  I know this isn't easy for you and I don't want you to feel you have to do anything."  I sighed I guess I should just tell him.  "It's my  insecurities.  I feel sometimes you left because I wasn't good enough and I'm just waiting for you to decided that we aren't."  I looked at him waiting.

"I left because I was messed up." I said softly, "you're incredible. always have been, I just feel like you want this amazing guy and i'm afraid I'll only disappoint you."

I rolled my rural. "Jed I want you and you are amazing we match we fit we are us and I wouldn't have it any other way."  I sighed.  "You know everyone told me after you left that I needed to find another guy or date, but I couldn't because they all weren't you!"  I hope he understood what I was saying because damnit I loved him and only him.
