She decides to escape all the pity looks she has been getting for a year now.  A year ago her husband and love of her life got into a horrible accident.  She was left with three kids.  One who is 2 one that is 5 and the oldest 7.  She didn't know what to do so she took the whole summer off to figure it out and took her babies to the beach for some much needed sun and time to recover specially her oldest who is always upset.  

He is a single dad of two who just recently 6 months ago divorced his pyscho of a wife.  He decided to move far away from her to his childhood beach house with his kids.  He has full custody.  He doesn't believe in love anymore after what she did to him.  All he needs is his kids and his friends.  But his friends think other wise.

I laughed.  "None.  I kind of have trust issues with woman no offense!"  I say making sure she realized I was serious I haven't dated or had any woman since my wife.

"Oh so last night.. it's not a regular thing for you." i felt relieved that he wasn't a night time phone sex prowler. "I'm sorry, i shouldn't have asked. It's not my business."

I laughed.  "No it's not a regular thing for me at all.  Altho I won't lie and say I didn't enjoy it because I did.  But I'd rather have the real connection."  I say then realize how that sounded.  "But I'm not in a rush.  We shouldn't rush."

"No we shouldn't." i said wondering if he felt nothing to me. i was getting mixed signals from him. "let's go and swim." i said turning around feeling stupid that i was coming off clingy.

"Shit what did I do?  I didn't mean I don't want to because I think I made that clear last night Em!"  She was confusing hell woman are confusing.  "Look I don't want to screw this up I like you a lot and I mean a lot I never thought I would ever feel this way again about a woman and I am it's scaring me."

I was so confused that all i could do was laugh. "ok i think i understand." i smiled "we like each other and we're just taking it slowly, seeing where it goes? with late night sexy texts." i wiggled my brows.

I laughed at how she put it.  "Whatever you want to call it and whatever you wanna do I'm game!  Because I really enjoy our little make out sessions too!"  I winked and laughed more and she lightly blushed.

"I like them too and i think we should have another one of those if the kids are watching a movie later on. I could help you make popcorn." i winked really wanting to makeout with him and feel him all over.

I smirked.  "Oh yeah I think I could use your help too!  But for now let's swim."  I picked her up and tossed her In The pool as the boys laughed and moly said I was mean.  Then before I knew what was happ Ning the boys and moly pushed me in.

I came back up and she was still in my back.  "So that's how we are going to play Huh?"  I reached with one hand and grabbed her leg then I turned so fast she didn't know what was going on.  Now we were face to face my hand moving up her leg!  "Hi!"  I say because she looks so beautiful. Before she has a chance to say anything I pull us both under and give her a quick kiss before coming up.

the kids had no clue, they thought we were hilarious and i just loved how much they all were smiling. "I'm going to push you on the pool one day, when you least expect it." i warned.

"Hey the kids already did how about we make other plans for the pool!"  I wiggled my brows and she smiled and bite her lip.  "Damn."  I said under my breath as Mia kept saying "swim swim swim me!  Me swim me swim!"  I looked at Em and saw over to the wdge and got Mia.

"wow aren't you clever! " I clapped as Mia thought she was swimming on her own but was being held by him still. "I was having si much fun with him and our kids all playing that I didnt notice the person walking towards usuntil they spoke up "well I see why you just finally decided to up and leave. He'd be rolling in his grave if he knew what was happening right now!" my smile faded instantly, brads mother stood glaring at us, especially Zander.

I looked up not knowing who this lady was but had a clue.  "Excuse me do I know you?  Because as you see this is my house and you would be trespassing!  I handed Mia over to Em and moly came to my side so I lifted her.  Waiting for her to speak.  "Look ma'am I mean no disrespect in any way but I don't take to kindly to the way you talked in front of my children and Emilia's children of you want to talk in private that's fine but not in front of the kids okay?"  Moly looked up and said "daddy she is scaring me!"  And then Mia said "me too me too"

"do you mind watching them a moment? " i asked as I started getting out of the pool and grabbing a towel to wrap around myself. "I thought you were renting your own place?" she asked and I pointed over the fence "yes the kids and I over there." she seemed to vvisibly calm down knowing that and soon began talking all about why moving was a bad idea and how I wasnt thinking clearly. Then she tried to guilt me with the kids and I'd had enough and walked away to cut up some fruit to take next door.

I smiled through my teeth as I walked back over to this man's house where my gandbabies were and crouched down near this half naked man "youre taking advantage of her emotional state. She can't care for herself. It's best you convince her to come home.." then added "theres no way you'll ever compete with a dead man who meant the world To her." standing again and leaving."

I just stared at the lady as she walked away.  Wow she has issues.  I don't know what the hell she was going on about but I didn't care.  Em and I were being honest with one another so it didn't matter.  I saw Em walking this way and I smiled then turned back to the kids Mia on my shoulders as the boys were playing with the squirt guns and moly was on the steps kind of pouting.  Till she saw emilia And got up to run to her.

"hey princess, I made you a special one with pink marshmallows." I said handing her the fruit stick with shaped fruit stuck on it. I looked at Zander and smiled hoping he hadn't been turned off. "would you like one too?" i asked unable to not glance at his bare chest.

I smiled.  "I would love one!  Mia how about you?"  She squealed as I walked to her mummy.  Once we got to her she laughed.  "Me me me me!" She wiggled.

"i think theres one for you little princess " i handed her one and she showed Zander "look dadd- oops Zan" she giggled and i died at her calling him daddy "i have pink clouds and you have white!" she said pointing to the marshmallows "mm my favourite!"

I smiled at Emilia.  She didn't freak this time when Mia almost called me daddy.  "Maybe next time I can get pink ones too!"  I say to Mia and she giggles.  I walk around the pool and watch a moly looks at Emilia.  

"Em that lady said things to my daddy.  I don't think he knows I heard.  But she told him he can't compete with the dead and that he should help you but telling you to go home."

My smile faded. Well that's just great. Now he was going to end things before they even begun. I sat down with her and pulled her on my lap, beginning to play with her hair and i tried explaining things "that woman is silly. She's upset because I was married to mia, Noah and Andy's daddy, but he's gone away now and can't come back. Your daddy doesn't have to compete with anyone, he's wonderful and makes me happy just as you and Mikey do also." I tied her hair with a band and hugged her "I'll tell you a secret, but you can't tell anyone ok.." she nodded "i think your daddy's pretty darn special. "

"Me too!  But I think your special too!  I don't like that lady she is like Lisa always hurting daddy.  Why can't you be my mummy?"

"sweetie it's not that easy," i didn't know what to say but I realised I had grown attached to his children as if they were my own. "But i do promise you that i won't hurt your daddy."

I smiled at her she was so nice.  "Daddy likes you a lot! He looks at you how uncle John looks a at Sara!  I'm gonna swim now!"  I jumped in and swam to my daddy where he lifted me to give Mia a five.
