Two college students who view life differently meet in there English class one day an it changes things for both of them.

Lani who lost her parents thinks finding love is important and goes through school to achieve two things one getting her degree and two finding love.

(Male)  hates life and things it should be all about fun.  He knows his life could be short due to his father. he lost him at a young age due to a disease he too could have but is not sure if he wants to take the test that well tell him all.

We got to the shower and I got the water onto warm. "I'll wait until you're done" I said stepping out. "the towels are clean" I said handing her one and going to sit in the BBQ area.

i stood there. I finished up and smiled. I grabbed the towel and took my suit off hanging it on the rank. "I'm done." I said wrapping the towel around me.

I wasn't expecting her to be naked. "uh. I'll see you inside." I said trying to look elsewhere. My mind filled.with thoughts of what was under the towel as I got under the water. And here comes another boner

i took my suit and rung it out and went to change. I found my room and changed the kitchen smelled so good. I walked in "wow this is amazing!"

"oh you're back already, just in time." Anne smiled and put another plate of food out "tell me how surfing went? His father surfed everyday and they used to go all the time together," she said with a chuckle.

"wait a second! So he knows how to surf?" I was shocked. "Sorry Anne but i might have to kick mattys butt when he gets in here!" I said smirking.

my smile faded "oh dear" I said and sat down "did he tell you he doesn't know how to? How was he out there? This is why that boy needs the blasted tests done."

oh shit. "Look Anne it's not my place to tell you this but you can't force him into the test just let him leave he seems to be doing fine and I think he was just trying to make me feel better i don't think there is anything to worry about except that I'm going to kick his butt!" I said. God I felt so bad for her but I understood him.

"please let me know if he forgets anything else." I sighed.

"hey something smells amazing. You should have seen us down the beach." I grinned pulling a shirt over my head "she's one hell of a teacher." I said smiling at her.

i tried to give him a smile but I was mad. "You lied to me! You use to surf with your dad you know how to surf!" I said getting up and punching his shoulder but only hurt my hand. "Ouch!"

I looked at her confused. "what are you talking about?" I asked frowning and rubbing my arm "If I knew then I would have gotten up right away not after hours." I said not knowing what she meant.

i looked at him and pulled him outside. "Stop or your going to freak your mum out! She told me everything so stop you know how to surf you use to surf with your dad! Please tell me you remember!" I started to get scared maybe he should get the test.

"okay.. Now you're freaking me out. I don't remember surfing at all" I said and stepped back "she said I did?" I asked running a hand through my hair

i sat down on the ground. "Your not playing a bad trick on me?" I said starting to cry.

I dropped down to her instantly "hey what's wrong? Are you ok? " shit what have I done to upset her.

i looked at him. "I've been doing my research on your fathers disease." I call it his fathers because we didn't know if he had it or not. "If your not playing a cruel joke on me then it's possible your showing signs." I said crying more.

I felt myself getting defensive "I don't have it. Maybe I used to surf I don't know but I am not losing my mind" I said and sighed "I don't have it."

i looked at him. "Sorry!" I got up and went inside to lay down. I couldn't eat and I was getting a headache. I didn't want to upset him anymore. I found a old photo album in my room and started to look at it.

I laid on my bed. I think if I surfed before then I'd have remembered something as easy as that. I couldn't have been before and forgot it. Could I? I started to wonder why she cried about it. I hated seeing her sad.

i walked in and sat on his bed. "What's going on son?" I asked wanting to know how he felt about this girl. How and why he wouldn't get the test.

"nothing much." I shrugged and then looked up at her "if I used to surf then wouldn't I remember how to do that?"

i looked at him. "Baby you use to go out with your father while he surfed I know he taught you and this little information could be a sign of the disease or it could be you blocking it out I'm not sure but I know one things that girl is worried and she has lost enough people in her life." I said to him. "If you care maybe you should let her go, or at least find out and get the test." I hugged him and kissed him. He had a lot to think of and I wanted him to think by himself.

I got up and knocked on her bedroom door before pushing out open "I'll get the test done." I said slightly ashamed that I was being so vulnerable

I rolled over and looked at him. "Come here!" I said as I held the photo album.

I climbed onto the bed and laid down beside her. "mm what's that?" I asked nodding to the album
