Two college students who view life differently meet in there English class one day an it changes things for both of them.

Lani who lost her parents thinks finding love is important and goes through school to achieve two things one getting her degree and two finding love.

(Male)  hates life and things it should be all about fun.  He knows his life could be short due to his father. he lost him at a young age due to a disease he too could have but is not sure if he wants to take the test that well tell him all.

I gave mum a hug and kiss on the cheek. "mum this is Lani, Lani, my mother Anne" I said stepping back. Mum gave me a look and smiled "its nice to meet you Lani."

i smiled. "Nice to meet you too Anne! What a lovely home you have! I love the porch!" I said smiling looking around I loved the outside of the house.

"You're most welcome dear. I heard you enjoy the beach, we have a pathway that leads down to the ocean from the back garden. Please, come inside and make yourself at home." Anne smiled holding the door open for her and winked at her son.

i was in love with this house! I could use it to escape a lot and I plan on it. It was so lovely. I walked in and waiting for Matt.

"Hey, so uh mum didn't know if we were sharing a room. But there's the spare down here." I said taking her bag to the room across from mine. "mine is just there" I pointed to the door right acorss from hers.

i smiled. "Thanks I'm sure this will be fine! I would like to check out the beach do youind?" I said hopelessly!

"You want some company?" I asked hopefully.

i smiled. "If you want to join me you can!" I said. "I wanna change into my suit tho is that okay?"

"Sounds good, bathroom is next to your room," I said and headed over to mine. I stripped off and searched for my board shorts.

i put in my suit and threw a shirt on I needed help with this one. I hoped he was in his room. I knocked. "Ummm Matty I need some help!"

I quickly done up my shorts and left my top off. Pulling the door open I took her in and internally groaned at how gorgeous she was. "what do you need me to do?" I asked

j smiled. "Well-". I said and pulled my shirt off. "I can't tie this suit before putting it on and I can't find my other could you tie me up please?" I then wanted to mentally slap myself for how that sounded.

I smirked "you want cable ties or silk scarves?" I murmured against her ear and began to tie her top up.

I blushed as I turned to thank him. "Umm thanks and sorry I didn't mean for it to come off so umm dirty!" I said not really looking at him.

"sure you didn't," I teased playfully and dropped my hands from her "you ready to go? Its not a far walk." I knew she was gong to love the thirty seconds it took to get to the private beach.

"I just want to grab two boards! Then I'll be ready!" I said noticing the confused look on his face. "Oh I forgot to tell you, your going to learn to surf before we head back!" I said and kissed his cheek then went to get the boards. Passing his mum on the way.

"oh son i like her!"

I looked at mum, "she's something else." I said dreading getting up on that board

"you like her too don't you?" I said knowing he really doesn't date and I hate that but it's his life. "Ohh while your here I called dr. Seeks and he said he could get you in if you want."


i got my board but was having trouble with the other. I walked back in and at the wrong time. "Sorry to interrupt but I can't get the other board."

"not interrupting anything." I shot my mother a glare and went to grab her other board. I just hoped my mother didn't start in this again while I was here and especially in front of her.

he walked away and I could tell he was upset. I gave his mother a sad smile. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt." I said to her. I felt terrible I know what they were talking about I heard what she said. But I didn't know if she knew I knew.

The best for him. How long have up known each other for? She asked smiling.

i smiled. "Umm honestly just a couple weeks." I said and looked around. "He is a good friend. It's a difficult time for me right now and he has helped me out more than my friends I've known for a while."

"really?" she asked surprised "that pleases me greatly since my son has sociable issues. Unless he's out with that sketch pad or those darn friends then he's normally locked away in his apartment."

i smiled. "Well if I'm not on my board I'm usually locked away in my apartment so I get it. And he is very talented with his sketching!" I said as I heard him. "Well I gotta go teach him how to surf!"

"good luck with that!" I called out smiling to myself.

"hey, I had it tied on pretty hard. Mum's not grilling you for answers on embarrassing questions is she?" I asked her as I carried the board
