Two college students who view life differently meet in there English class one day an it changes things for both of them.

Lani who lost her parents thinks finding love is important and goes through school to achieve two things one getting her degree and two finding love.

(Male)  hates life and things it should be all about fun.  He knows his life could be short due to his father. he lost him at a young age due to a disease he too could have but is not sure if he wants to take the test that well tell him all.

I jumped from her scream and pulled her closer, she must be dreaming. "hey baby it's ok, you're safe here." I said kissing her forehead gently and holding her soothingly.

i laid there and cried. Why was he there and why was he calling me baby. I needed air. "I-I-I need some air. I got up and walked to my balcony I couldn't breath. Stupid panic attacks. I jumped as I felt his strong arms wrap around me.

"take in a deep breath and blow out out slowly, you know you can't push me away. If you want to cry or scream then go for it. I'll sit and listen." I said holding her close

no one not even my aunt and cousin has been this way with me they all tell me it's not good you need to move on. I hated it. I laid back against him and cried. After what seemed like forever but it was more like a hour I stopped crying. "Thank you. I'm tired I said feeling myself wanting to fall over. "Can you take me to bed?"

I nodded but picked her up instead and carried her down to a bedroom. "I'm going to lay with you, just until you're asleep ok." I asked hoping that was ok.

i gave a small smile with my eyes closed. "Okay thank you matty!" I said not sure why I called him matty but it just came out. I heard a light chuckle and loved it.

I hadn't been called since my father died. It was nice to hear it again after so long. "night." I whispered back. When she was asleep I had every intention of leaving but was too tired to move and ended up passing out spooning her from behind

when I woke and I was in his arms still I smiled. "Hey! I thought you were leaving once I fell asleep?" I giggled. "Matty!"

"youre nice and warm and I got too comfortable." I grinned half asleep. "you sleep better than before?" I asked still holding her.

i smiled. "Yes I did and oddly enough I'm hungry!" I said because I hardly ever ate when like this.

"well do you have food in your fridge?" I asked running my fingers up and down her back.

"I do but I'm too comfy! I need a maid or butler!" I laughed. "Thank you for staying matty."

"youre welcome, you can return the favour when I need some company" I smiled kissing the top of her head again.

i smiled and was going to try to drift back off when my belly had to embarrass me. "I guess I need to get up huh."

I grinned "yeah I should probably head off too, I'm sure good got things to do or something." I trailed off sitting up.

i laughed like actually laughed. "Matt this is usually all I do during this time. But I'm sure you have things to do than sit here and watch someone as pathetic as me cry!" I got up and stretched.

"I'm not bothered by the crying, you should get out of town for a bit. I'm heading up to mums tomorrow, should tag along if you wanted? " I said and then had no idea why I suggested that for.

i looked at him surprised. "I couldn't just tag along I'm a mess. It would ruin your visit with your mother." I said all tho it sounded nice really nice and it would distract me like he has.

"there's a pretty great beach and it would give me the distraction." I smiled "think about it, im leaving in the morning if you change your mind."

"beach!" I said. Not thinking of anything else. "If there is good waves I'm there!" I said as my belly made it's presents again.

"alright, I'll pick you up around 8. Let's get you fed first though, can't have you starving." I winked and walked past her to go into her kitchen

i smiled and grabbed my sweatshirt from my closet throwing it on. I walked into the kitchen. "You don't need to do that I can!"

"alright then." I slid into the chair at the table. "what you going to make?" I asked watching her in the kitchen.

"don't laugh!" I said looking at him. "Grilled cheese and ham." I said and smiled. "It's my comfort food!"

"alright, I'm looking forward to trying it." I leant back more. "your board that I broke, you have another?"
