The flight that changed it all.

I smiled at him and kissed his shoulder since I couldn't reach his face without him bending down. "How long until we get to whores house?" I asked like the jealous girlfriend I was.

i looked at her and didn't like seeing her cry. I held her tight and kissed her. "We aren't sure like I said we need him to stay so we can look in greater detail on what his treatments will be." I nodded. "Thanks umm can you just give me the info and we will stay." I say trying to stay strong for her.

When we were alone I couldn't help it. I just started to cry, I felt so awful for him. I didn't want anything to be wrong, we'd only just found each other and now he was sick. "I'm sorry," I said into his chest. "I love you so much Brock." I hope he knew I wasn't going anywhere.

i held her close and laid back. "I love you too. And it's fine I'll be fine and we will be fine. We will get married and have babies and love till we are old and grey." I was telling her everything I wanted.

I was worried he might not be able to have kids after all of this but didn't say anything. I just smiled. "Four babies, two boys and two girls. And plus, you still owe me a date to the rodeo. It better be on more than once a year," I smiled sitting up.

i smiled that sounds wonderful". I say getting tired and closing my eyes. "Keep talking please. And if I doze off could you call my ma and pa."

"Ok baby, just rest." I said stroking his cheek. He fell asleep as I was talking about the holidays we would go on and I had to go call his parents. I didn't know what to say and I was shaking. His mum burst into tears and his dad said they would wait until we knew more before they came here. I just sat in the chair and cried as he slept.

i woke up some time later. I saw Hallie sleeping in the chair. I got up even with my IV I still picked her up and laid her on my as I laid back down. She stirred a little but didn't wake up. I kissed her head and called my ma. We talked for a while and then Hallie woke up.

I looked around and wondered how I got over here. "Did you carry me?" I asked not moving. I yawned and just laid against him.

i smiled "yeah you looked so uncomfortable in the chair. I love you." I kissed her and just looked at her. She was so beautiful.

"I love you, how are you feeling?" I asked softly.

"I'm just really tired baby." I kissed her head. "Ma said you did good when you told them."

I felt my eyes fill with tears. This year just wasn't our year. "I'm going to be here for you, even if it gets hard and you tell me to leave. I'm not going anywhere ok." I said and kissed him hard.

i smiled "as much as I would want you to go live a life you deserve halliebug I will be selfish and keep you till I die but we don't need to worry I'll be fine." I hope at least.

"You're not going anywhere, your ma won't let you go anywhere until you give her those grand babies," I laughed, "be selfish, because I am with you."

i smiled. "Your perfect!" I kissed her and felt myself needing to sleep. "I'm sorry baby I'm so tired."

I was really worried about him. "It's ok baby. Sleep and get better," I said laying back down and cuddling him. I hated seeing him like this.

its been a few days since I was told about my condition. We were going to start treatment next week. I was staying awake more with all the stuff they gave me.

"Are you hungry at all?" I asked playing with his hands. He seemed to be feeling better but I didn't want him over doing anything.

"I am maybe they will let us walk to the cafe and get something. Could you go get my nurse." I asked knowing already she will say yes but I had to get dressed.

"Yeah of course." I smiled getting up and leaving the room. I went and found his nurse and asked and she agreed. I came back and walked in "yeah we can go for a little while," I said looking at him. He looked so weak and I wanted to help but I didn't want to embarrass him.

i looked up and smiled. "You might need to push me in. A wheel chair baby." I hated to say it but I was weak. She nodded and got one we went to the cafe where we ate. "You know how much I love you? Once I get the okay I want to go to the island and stay for a a little while"

"Are you sure? Kaiden I don't want you getting sick over there, we don't need to go anywhere. I know your mum wants you to stay with her while you recover," I said taking his hand and squeezing lightly.

i smiled. "We are going and that's that". I couldn't let this cancer ruin the one thing I had to do before I got to sick.

"Ok we can go back. I can't wait to have you in our home, it's all ready and just waiting for us," I just wanted him happy and more so healthy.

i smiled. "I can't wait either."

I started treatment and started so much better almost back to normal. I had a check up today and he said I was clear to go to the island. It's been 4 months since I was diagnosed. They said my % if beating this was 90% I say 100%. I couldn't wait to get to the island we were only staying a weekend. I had a lot to get ready.
