When she got up, he was tempted to pull her back down for round two, but decided against it. He fixed his clothes as she did the same with her dress. He smiled at her and kissed the palm of her hand as she touched his face. "neither of us, can afford to be late." he said as he checked to make sure he had his keys and phone. As they walked towards the door he picked up his bag from the bottom of the steps and headed out.

"Anything new?" He asked finally letting her go but he kept her close to him, needing that sense of security.

She shook her head "No, the doctors haven't come out yet" she said looking up at him.

He nodded his head and finally noticed the food in her hand. "What's that?" He asked.

(How was your fourth of july?)

"I got a sandwich for you from the cafeteria in case you where hungry" she said holding it out for him to take.

(It was good. I went over my cousin house for a cook out and watched the fire works. What about you?)

He shook his head dismissing the sandwich but took the drink she had. "I don't think I can hold anything down right now. I'm too worried to eat." He took her hand in his after taking a few sips. "Come on, I'm sure the doctors should be ready to tell us something."

(That sounds like fun! How is Ariel doing? I basically did the same thing lol but we went to the park and then went back the house to watch the fireworks)

She took his hand in his as they made their way to back to the hospital where everyone else was waiting for the doctor to come out.

((She's doing good, just a little congested because she's teething. She has her first tooth in at the bottom.))

They waited a bit longer until the doctor came out. It was like everyone was running on fumes at this point. "Well there were a few complications but everything seem to be fine. She will be out for a while. Once we find her a room you all will be able to see her." He said with a smile on his face. It was like the weight of the world was lifted from their shoulders.

She couldn't help but feel excited and happy to know she was going to be alright as she turned to give Jonathan a big smile "She's going be just fine" she said giving him a hug.

((Ik!! There's another that's coming in as well. I noticed them two coming in like two weeks ago. No she feels she can chew on everything and her gums ate itching a lot more. I gave her a whole strawberry today too.))

For the first time since he got there Jonathan was able to breath and it seemed Maurice felt the same way. It was like the weight of the world was lifted and everyone was able to relax. Jonathan detached himself from Bay abd gave her a quick kiss before he went to talk with Maurice. He wasn't sure what he was going to say to him, but he felt like he needed to say something.

She watched as Jonathan made his way to Jess' s fiance. She knew he had to talk to him, to set things right for her and in this moment she couldn't be more proud of him.

((Yes two!!!! and I'mnot sure, a lot of times if she isn't chewing on everything she get her hands on then she's trying to rub her gums up against something.))

Jonathan took a moment to get his thoughts together before he decided to speak from the heart. "I'm sure from what Jess has told you, you may not want to meet me right now, or possibly don't care about what I have to say. But I just wanted you to know that I respect you a lot. It's not easy to earn my respect, but just from this situation alone I feel that I can respect you. I can see that you really truely care about her and that's all I'm really looking for. I was always hard on her because she failed to see what I saw in those guys from just looking at them. I just wanted what was best for her, and I can see that you are whats best for her. I just wish she hadn't kept this from me for so long. And I appreciate the fact that you tried to encourage her to come and speak with us. But I'm sure you know just as I know how stubborn she can get sometimes. But man to man, you have my blessing and my respect to stay with her, so don't screw this up or I will hunt you down personally." Jonathan said with a serious voice, but it couldn't stop the playfulness that danced in his eyes. Maurice laughed a bit and gave Jonathan a manly hug.

"I really do appreciate it, and I just wish we could have met under different circumstances." Maurice stated and Jonathan agreed with just a nod of his head. Just then the doctor came back with a smile on his face.

"I know you all are eager to see her and you can. Even though visiting hours are over, i'm making an exception for you all. She's in room 320, just take the elevator up to the third floor and you should be able to find her. But only two at a time, the nurses are giving her, her medication for the pain so she wont be up for too long." Everyone thanked him and he went back to making his rounds.

"Well now that I know she's okay, I'm going to head out and go home. Since they about to dope her up, I don't want to keep her up for too long, so make sure you tell her I said hey and that I'll be back tomorrow morning." Eric said coming over to Jonathan and Maurice just as Ray and his girlfriend did the same. Everyone had left but Rick, Felicia, Bay, and Jay. His sister had left with the others.

"Alright gang shall we head up?" Maurice asked as he looked around the small group.

She couldn't but smile brightly after seeing Jonathan and Maurice talk things through. "I think you and Jonathan should be the first to go see her. Im sure she would love that you two finally meet" Bay said looking at Jonathan and Maurice with a smile.

((not really, most of the time its my face lol or something soft. But I always make sure she has one of her teething rings handy. Anywho, I'm doing well just finished my classes for the summer now moving onto the fall semester in a month.))

Everyone began moving to the elevators that would take them to their destination. Jonathan had taken Bay's words into consideration andreally debated with himself if he wanted to go in a lone or did he want to go in withMaurice. The sudden realization that he would be seeing Jess soon hit him hard, and he wasn't sure how to feel about it. He was happy that she was okay, yet he was angry that he didn't try and patch things up sooner, and then he was sad that he had to see her again after two years in such conditions. Finally coming to terms with things, decided it was now or never.

"What do you say Jonathan, care to join me?" Maurice asked as Jonathan then realized that they were outside her door. His heart began beating rapidly and he was afraid that it would explode if he didn't get it under control.

Jonathan finally shook his head declining his offer. "I think I'll wait to go in. I want to go in a lone, but if she's awake can you not tell her I'm here." He was so unsure of himself at the moment and that was something that has never happened to him. Maurice gave him a reassuring smile before he gave him a quick pat on the back before going into the room. From what he could see he saw that there were a few nurses still inside making sure she was set for the night. Maurice paused in the door way just staring at her before he gave a quick glance towards Jonathan before going inside completely.

She watched them go in the elevator as she smiled taking a seat before grabbing a magazine and looking through it. She wondered how things where going with Jonathan and if he was already talking to Jess.

((lol. it's okay. i'm doing good, just getting things situated with school. but her teeth are fine. surprisingly she hasn't cried at all. all she's really done was blow spit bubbles. I guess to massage her gums.))

He looked around and noticed that Bay hadn't followed them up. He was debating on whether he wanted to go get her or wait until after he talked with her. He decided against it and went to get her anyway. He wanted Jess to meet the girl of his dreams, even if she would be asleep. "Hey why didn't you come up with everyone?" He asked when he finally found her.

Bay looked up seeing Justin in front of her. "I didn't want to bother you all. I thought it would be better if you got some alone time with her" she said setting the magazine down and standing making her way to him.

((it's either stay home and go to school or move out and get a job. even though i'll have to move out eventually. lol))

He couldn't help but smile at her. she was always thinking of others. "as great as that sound I would like for you to be up there with us. you're apart of it all even if you don't know it." he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "besides i'd like for you to meet her. I know it's a bit much but it would make me happy."

((Haha it's a plan at least! Here where i live theres not a lot of jobs..which sucks))

She couldn't help but lean into him as he spoke to her. "It's not much, I understand completely." She said looking up at him with a smile. "I would love to meet her. Let's go wolfie" she took his hand going to the elevator.

((There's jobs here, but it'll be a little harder for me since I have zero work experience))

He chuckled at her nickname for him. When they made it up he saw Rick and Felicia coming from the room. "How is she?" He whispered.

"There you are. I thought you ditched us, but she's stable. She's sleeping though. Jay just went in so we're about to head out. Let us know if anything changes." Rick informed him.

"I can do that. I'll see you guys tomorrow." They said their final good byes and headed for the elevator. Jonathan suddenly felt nervous about seeing her. He sat and watched as Jay walked out and gave him a pat on the shoulder. This was it. Now or never.

((That was me too...until I worked at warehouses but it's still hard since no one wants someone that works at that...you can try tutoring at college or there must be some jobs that the school is offering))

She smiled and waved goodbye to Felicia and Rick as they left before turning to look at Jonathan. "You can do it" she said softly to him squeezing his hand for reassurance. "Have faith, everything will be just fine"

He felt nervous but gave her small smile. He took a moment to get himself together before pushing the door open. The moment he laid eyes on Jessica he wanted to bolt, but stood his ground and took the seat next to her bed. He then slid his hand in hers and the tears began pouring. "Jess I'm so sorry I was a terrible brother. I just wanted the best for you. You deserve the world and more. I met your husband, he seems like a great guy and I'm proud of you." He said to her. He sat there for a few seconds just listening to the beeping of the machines. "I have someone I want you to meet." He finally spoke. He gave her hand a small kiss. He got out of his seat and went to the door waving Bay inside.

She waited outside patiently letting Jonathan take his time as he spoke to Jess. A couple of minutes later she looked up and saw Him waving for her to come in. She smiled going inside seeing Jess laying down in the bed with tubes coming out of her nose and arm.

Jonathan held onto Bay as she looked over at Jess. He took a deep breath and was about to speak when he saw her stir a little. He quickly went to the door and called Marcus in. He rushed in and took the chair. He held her hand and they watched as she squeezed his hand. Jonathan couldn't help but smile.

"Hey beautiful. I've been waiting for you." Marcus said softly. They watched as she tried to smile. She then looked over at Jonathan and back to Marcus. "Don't try and say anything, your body needs to heal. But yes he already knows about us and he's happy about it." Marcus explained.

"Hey kiddo. I just want you to know I nearly had three heart attacks waiting in this hospital." He said jokingly and watched as she smiled. "But it was worth it. You have a great guy on your hands and I know I can trust him to take care of you." She gave a slight nod and turned her attention to Bay before looking back up at him. "This my new fling for the month." He said jokingly earning him a hit in the chest. Now that she was awakejJonathan felt like he could relax for the first time since arriving hours ago. He kissed Bay's cheek and smiled at her. "I was only kidding. Jess this is my girlfriend Bay." That earned him a confused look. "I know, I know. I'll explain it all tomorrow. When you can talk." He offered. "But now that I know you're 100% well close to it. I can finally go home and rest." He went and placed a soft kiss on her bandaged forehead. "I love you." He whispered to her and she mouthed it back.
