When she got up, he was tempted to pull her back down for round two, but decided against it. He fixed his clothes as she did the same with her dress. He smiled at her and kissed the palm of her hand as she touched his face. "neither of us, can afford to be late." he said as he checked to make sure he had his keys and phone. As they walked towards the door he picked up his bag from the bottom of the steps and headed out.

Bay was enjoying herself for the first time. That was all thanks to Jonathan and what he did for her. She couldn't be more grateful than to have someone like him around her life. "How long have you two known each other?" She asked looking at Eric and Jonathan.

Eric looked over at Jonathan before smiling. "Pretty much my whole life. He's like my older brother, even if we are the same age." He chuckled.

"Eric and I grew up together, my grandparents took him in when he was like two. The whole domestic ordeal." Jonathan explained not wanting to go into the details. "There aren't many I grew up with but you'll meet the few that I have grown up with soon. Ray is one of them."

She smiled sweetly at them, she was glad to know Jonathan had people in his life he confide in. There wasn't a lot of people she confide in since she was alone, but now it was going to change. "I can't wait to meet everyone of your friends" she said excitedly.

Melony came with their orders and refilled their drinks. "Oh before I forget, Josh is giving his wife Susie a masquerade birthday bash friday. Everyone invited." She said before going to take another order.

"Oh heck yeah. Josh throws the best parties puff the century." Ericssaid excitedly

She couldn't help but laugh at Eric's excitement. He looked like a child excited for candy. "Im assuming everyone from your pack shows up, right?" She asked imagining the scene in her head of hundreds of people.

He nodded his taking a sip of drink. "Only those that want to come. Not every one will be there. So you won't have to worry. But there will be a good handful." He explained

She hoped with a lot of people being there her claustrophobia wouldn't kick in, especially in front of him. She wouldn't want to cause a scene, that would be embarrassing. Smiling softly she reassure herself it wouldn't be that bad "Ok" she said to him before turning her attention to her drink.

The trio sat and ate, Eric eagerly answering any questions Bay had about pack life or just about him in general. He was always the guy ready to make new friends. And wasn't afraid to tell things like it was. "Alright I'm stuffed. Now it's time for my bed. Dreamland is calling me." Jonathan said as he finished his plate.

She had a nice time asking Eric lots of questions she had to ask, he seemed like someone she could definitely get along with. The food was delicious, or maybe it was the hunger but regardless she had a good time. She couldn't help but laugh "Really to sleep like a log?"

"That too." He agreed. "So tell everyone if they need me they better get me before I get in the house. Because the moment I step foot inside I want complete privacy. Until I'm ready to deal with you all." He said jokingly.

She shook her head smiling at him, he's definitely going to get his privacy she thought laughing. "You can drop me at my place, I think i've over stayed my hospitality here" she said looking at them. "I don't want to be a bother to you both"

"Nonsense. Your welcome anytime." He winked at her as they made there way to the car. "We can drop her off first then you can take me home." He told Eric once they were seated in the car. "Unless you want to go to my house instead and I bring you home later?" He asked looking at her in the back.

She couldn't help but smile as she buckled her seat belt. Maybe being with him for a bit would be best to do right now, she bit her lip thinking. "I think that would be better" she said giving him a smile. She didn't know why but she didn't want to be away from him right now she just hoped he didn't mind.

"Okay, well my house it is. And Eric remember, no one disturbs me while I'm sleep. Or there will be hell to pay." He joked. He was glad she said shed come with him. He wasn't sure how much sleep he would have actually gotten if she wasn't there. If he didn't know before he certainly know now that they were meant for each other. He wanted to spend every second in her presence.

A couple of minutes later they arrived at his place. She couldn't help but sigh in relief, all she wanted to do was be in his arms.  "Thank you Eric" she said smiling as she unbuckle her seatbelt. "It was nice meeting you"

"Nice meeting you too Bay. Hope we can hang out one day, if the big bad wolf don't kill me first." He chuckled as he threw Jonathan a glance. "Buy you two. Don't do anything I would do."

She couldn't help but smile "Of course, I would like that! Im pretty sure he wouldn't mind" she said winking at Jonathan "We'll try to behave" She laughed jokingly

"I'm sure I know how to handle myself Ryder. Unlike you." Jonathan said to Eric through the car window. "Behave your self and tell your girlfriend I want my cupcakes." He laughed as they did a manly handshake. Eric smashed the horn as he drove down the street. Jonathan laughed as he unlocked the door and let Bay in. "You have a few things that's still here if I remember correctly." He told her.

She laughed watching him drive off. I should bake him some cupcakes she thought going inside his apartment. "It feels like a long time since i've been here" she said looking around "But I do happen to remember what we mostly did" She winked at him smiling.

He chuckled as he followed her inside. "You're right. I forgot what this place even looked like without you and me in every room. Well just about every room." He winked. As he was making his way to his room, the phone rung. "This better be important." He said answering the phone. It was Eric on the phone telling him that Jessica, his little sister, was just in a serious accident. "Where's my truck?" He asked him. "Okay, I'll be there soon." He hung up and suddenly felt like the weight of the world was upon his shoulders. He couldn't catch a break to save his life. "Stay here, I have to go get my truck, and I'll be back." He said and left not waiting for her response. Luckily for him his truck was only down the street so it wouldn't take him long.

The look on his face indicated something was wrong before she could speak he had already stepped out the door. She bit her lip hoping whatever had happened wouldn't be that bad as she imagined.

When he got there he found his truck as instructed the keys were under the seat. Jonathan knocked on his door and informed him of the current situation at hand and he said he'd meet at the hospital. Jonathan climbed back in his truck and headed back to his place. He debated if he really wanted to bring Bay along.

She started pacing back and forth waiting for his arrival. Some minutes later she heard the roar or his truck outside. He's here she thought her nerves spiking up.

He pulled up to the house and sat there for a moment before he blew the horn for her to come out. He figured if she was going to be in his life then there was no keeping her from anything.

She couldn't help but get startled by the noise, it seemed he was calling her outside she thought opening the door seeing him in the truck, yes definitely calling her out. She closed the door to his apartment and made her way to the passanger window "Is something wrong?" She asked worried.
