I heard the phone ringing vaguely and Rick reached into my bra and snatched it out. Looking at me as my eyes closed and opened after my head hit the window, My head hurt all over again and Rick just smirked as he ended the call.

shit I messed up now. "Look Charlotte Tanner is well trained and he will be okay. I just hope we aren't under estimating Rick. I know he is dangerous but I know Tanner and I have seen him fight." I knew darn well tanner didn't take any weapons I new better, I just don't know if Charlotte knew that as well. "Well there is nothing we can do now seeing as Rick just pulled up."


about 10 minutes after James took Char for protection Ricks car pulled up. I sat back and waited. He walked in and came straight to the bedroom.

"what the fuck happened here?" Rick says.

"She's gone Rick. It's just you and me. And we will end this tonight. And don't think about taking the gun behind your back. Because we are fighting this one out till one of us is dead." Rick lounged at tanner and they began to fight. Loud crashing noises coming from the house.

((Okay so I figured tanner and Rick will fight till Rick decides to pull a gun on tanner. That's when Charlotte comes in and she shoots Rick...))

"pull over now!" I yelled at James and looked at him. "He has a gun right?" I asked when the car stopped. When he didn't answer I felt sick. "Rick will shoot him, ^?he is smarter than he looks, we need to go back now!" It wasn't that far away, I waited for the car to start but he wasn't moving.

i looked at her. "If we go back Tanner will be pissed. I'm under strict orders to get you back home safely. So if I turn back you will stay in this car and not come in under any circumstance do not come in!" I know I'm going to regret this.

After about 20 minutes of a good fight I punched Rick so hard he flew back. I know he was going to try so etching I just don't know what it was he was going to do till he spoke.

"You were right this is the end but I will not let you kill me." I clicked the gun back. "Your lucky I let this fight go on as it did. I must say that you got the best of me but it doesn't matter I have the gun."

As we pulled up James went to check the situation out. Silly man left his gun on the dash. I slowly reached and grabbed it and got out of the car. I didn't care, they should have done this from the start. I heard fighting as I walked in and then nothing until Rick spoke and a gun clicked. My hand shakily rising up and aiming for the back of Ricks head. "You're not the only one" I spoke then pulled the trigger.

As I heard Charlotte speak and heard the gun shot I closed my eyes. Waiting for the impact but nothing came. I instantly opened my eyes hoping Rick didn't shot Char. The first thing I saw was Char shaking and then Ricks dead body laying limp on the ground. I ran over to Charlotte. "Bay you shouldn't of came back. You could of gotten hurt. But god I love you." I kissed her hard.

I dropped the gun and wrapped my arms around him tightly as i kissed him back. I pulled away to catch my breath "You are so stupid, both of you to not bring a gun! If I didn't take ofg you would have been the one on the floor not him! And leaving me with a man who voiced his scared thoughts did not help!" I finished taking and sighed. "Im so glad you're ok, god I love you!"

"I'm so sorry beautiful." I say as James walks in. I shook my head. "Let's get out of here."

"Yes please," I grabbed his hand tightly. I didn't bother looking back at Rick. It hasn't sunk in that I killed him yet.

we all got into the car. I sat in back with Char and held her close as James was talking about Ricks body to someone that would be coming to take care of it. I blocked it all out and just sat there holding her close to me while I stroked her hair. She saved me. I whispered. "I love you." As she fell asleep. As soon as we got home I picked her up and changed her into some pjs and laid her in bed while I took a quick shower.

I snuggled underneath the covers and opened my eyes when I heard the shower running, they soon closed again and I heard him coming back to bed and getting in beside me. "I love you so much." I said quietly as I clung hold of him tightly. I was going to find it hard to be away from him now.

I pulled her close and wondered when everything was going to hit her.  I knew she would have a rough time with coming to terms with killing Rick.

The next afternoon I woke up and Char was still sleeping I kissed her lightly and rubbed her belly.  Maybe Taylor could take her shopping for some clothes soon.  I kissed her again. And she stirred. "I love you." I whispered.

I woke up and seen Tanner sitting on the bed. "I love you too," I moved and sat up. "Did you sleep ok?" I asked, he was looking at me as if he was pained. "Baby, whats wrong? umm, do you think we could check the babies today, I didn't get to the hospital last night." I asked hoping her wasn't going to be too mad.

i smiled. "I'm fine beautiful just worried about you." I really was she acted like nothing happened. "And yes we are going to get you checked out as well as the babies. Do let's get you up and showered." I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"A shower is good, do you mind waiting downstairs for me?" I asked him. I wanted to look at my body without him there.

i looked at her oddly. Why would she not want me there with her. "Chart baby are you okay? Did he touch you?" God I had all these visions of that ass hurting her. When she didn't answer me I asked again. "Baby please tell me. Did he touch you?" I knew she wasn't okay so I didn't bother asking.

"He hit me a lot in the car, I just want to look at my body. I'm embarrassed you will be disgusted with me if I get bruises." I said quietly.

i shook my head. "Baby I would never see you as disgusting. What he did is very much disgusting. But you, your beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. I love you and want to be able to help you. I don't care if you have a bruise or two. I just wish I was there to protect you. None of this should of happened. I'm so sorry." I was so pissed at myself. "I'm so sorry I failed you."

I didn't want to talk about it, I was blocking what happened out otherwise I knew I would break down. I was a little pissed that he didn't take a gun and I was mad with James for leaving him there like that but I wasn't going to say anything. "I want to shower and then go see if our babies are ok, can you help me undress?" I asked and gave him a weak smile as I kissed his bruised knuckles.

i hissed a little as her lips lightly kissed my knuckles, but blocked the pain as I saw the side of her head. Dry blood matted in her hair. "Of course I can. Would you like help in the shower as well?" I wiggled my eyebrows trying to make her smile.

I nodded, "Please. Are your hands ok, do you hurt anywhere else?" I asked wondering what his body looked like.

"I'm good, just worried about you." I knew that as soon as we both undressed she would so all my bruises and cuts from when Rick pushed me through the glass door. I just hoped she didn't worry. I knew she was wondering why I didn't take a gun. And if she knew she would probably hate me.

"Well lets go and shower then, umm maybe we could talk afterwards, I have questions and I want honest answers." I said as I stood, my legs hurt so much and the side of my head was pounding. I went into the bathroom and started to unbutton my top and pulled it off.

i walked in behind her and helped her undress. I then started undressing myself. "I will always be honest with you." But your not going to like what I have to say. I couldn't help but think. I walked over and turned on the water. As we got in I helped wash your hair and body. As we finished and got dressed we sat down at the table to eat a d talk. "Ask away my love."

I hated how his body was so cut up. He looked a mess, I held his hands and looked up at him, "Why didn't you take a gun Tanner, you promised me you would shoot him and you didn't. James even said he was worried and that he shouldn't have left you alone!"

i sighed and took a deep breath. "Promise me you won't think any different of me?" I asked with pleading eyes. She nodded. "I wanted to kill that sick son of a bitch with my bare heads. I wanted to end his life the way I did my fathers..." I heard her take a deep breath when I said that. "I didn't tell you that when my father got out of prison I went to visit him. I wanted to know why he did what he did. I never got a answer from him. He pulled a knife out on me and said he should of killed Taylor and I as well." I took a deep breath and continued. "I wrapped my hands around his throat after fighting him for a while I killed him with my hands. I wanted so badly to do that to Rick and I would of even if he had the gun." I looked her in the eyes. "I'm a monster for wanting that I know. But that's the honest truth."
