She is mysterious, and strange to most people. Dark clothes, dark make-up. She loves dark stuff. Then suddenly her mother dies, and her baby sister. Leaving her and her father. Her dad checks out on the murder, but she still is shifty. She was out doing a few illegal things that night, so she can't tell. The cops decide to assign a watch on her. He wasn't too old, fresh out of the academy and only 21. He gets a cover up as a teacher at her school, a history teacher. He's good at it too, and another shock, so is she. But he doesn't find out until he sits down with her. He's kinda of annoying to her, but also annoyingly cute. Maybe there's a romance dwelling beneath them.

"Uh, no. If it's anyone that's getting close to that. I'd say I hit the mark a little closer than she did, even if I'm saying that at an early time." I smiled at him.

I pulled her up on my lap and smiled, "Yeah? you the type of girl who wants a to wear a pretty dress and wear a flash diamond on your finger?" I asked stroking her cheek. she was definitely something else.

"No, I wouldn't care if I got a chewed pen cap and some paper bag for a dress. I just want to be happy with the man I marry, and if it's someone like you, then I know I will be. But, I don't want a chewed pen cap and paper bag for a dress," I replied.

I chuckled. "Don't worry I wouldn't let you wear a bag for a dress," I smiled and pulled her down so she was laying over me as I laid down to watch tv. I just laid there stroking her hair softly.

I giggled as we laid there. Watching TV silently.

I felt her giggling and I just smiled.

~That afternoon

We were goofing off as we sat there waiting for our pizza. I leaned in to kiss him after a fit of laughter.

I kissed her back, "I think I like these lazy days with you," I said smiling.

(Yeah, my attention span is short)

I smiled at him. "So do I. I can't wait for more."

"More? yeah that's sounding really interesting," I said holding her closer.

I smiled as there was a knock. I sighed and we both got up to answer. I don't know why we went together, I just felt like it.

"Shit" I muttered as I realised my wallet was still in the car, "Do you mind waiting here? I will run and grab my wallet," I say and take off down the hall towards the door outside.

[Mizho Sohma]

I stood with the kid awkwardly. I took the pizza and set it on the table. When I turned around he was standing there with a pair of handcuffs. He had me leaning over the table as he handcuffed me and repeated my Miranda rights. I wasn't about to fight back because of how much trouble I would be in. He led me outside and we made it downstairs by the time he was walking back.

"What the hell is going on here?" I demanded as I seen her being led to a squad car. "She's under arrest, found some new evidence involving the murder weapon." I panicked, shit. I looked at her, "Do not say anything, I will be right behind you!" I said as I jumped in my car and called my boss.

[Mizho Sohma]

I nodded and we left in the other guys car. I was uncomfortable here. When we arrived they put me in a holding cell and I was left alone without the handcuffs and a few others were there. Mostly men. But I had my own cell so I wasn't worried.

I was fuming mad. "Some must have planted it in her room last night then, funny how we'd searched there before and nothing, we leave and the survellience footage is cut," I yelled, "this is a set up." My boss shook his head, "Her prints were on the knife, prove it's a set up and she can go!"

[Mizho Sohma]

I leaned against the wall drowning out all the things people were spitting at me. If it wasn't cat calls, then it was about me being a sick murderer because everyone thinks I killed my mother and sister.

Around 3am I walked down to the holding cell and seen Alice getting abused. "Oi that's enough of that!" I say unlocking the cell. "Come on we're going home." I said motioning with my head for her to walk out of the door.

[Mizho Sohma]

I looked at him. I stood and walked out. "What's going on?" I asked as we left. I wasn't supposed to leave unless it was to use the bathroom and to my trial.

"I posted bail for you to leave," I said leading her to the back door.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Thanks, I tried to ask the others to stop the other members of the cell. But they just joined in, until they had to leave," I said.

[melbender]

I shook my head "it's pathetic what they've done" I grumbled and helped her in the car. As soon as we were far away enough a took her hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry you went through that."

[Mizho Sohma]

I smiled. "Thank you for getting me out."

"What are boyfriends for?" I smiled

[Mizho Sohma]

"I used to think for being pricks, but not my boyfriend," I kissed his cheek.
