Welcome to the Rednook Mental Institution. A place where you can let your freak flag fly. A place where your folks dumped you when they didnt want to deal with their certifiably insane kid, also a place (but not limited to) the crazies, the lairs, the suicidals, the short tempered, the bipolars, the depressed, the traumatized.. The list goes on, as it should. We're here to help you, and also to judge you because let's face it, it's a 'ucking mental institution. Don't take it to heart, everyone is off their rocker here, everyone has a story. So feel free to pick a room, pick a diagnosis, and tell us your story. There are two floors, the top floor is for men, the bottom floor is for women. You get to converse with each other in the common area, but are never aloud to be on each others floors unsupervised. This is a hospital for women and men from the ages of 18 to 25, please act your age, and don't be afraid to flaunt your sickness. On Wednesdays we have movie night, we all pack up and rent out a movie theater, watch a movie, throw popcorn, all that jazz. There is a courtyard and activities to do outside, as well as in, but no swimming. We don't need you fucks drowning each other. Which brings me to my next point, you absolutely cannot kill each other (that's rude) or yourself for that matter. We may be crazy but we still have manners. You meet with the therapist once a week and take the pills we subscribe to you every day. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask Dorthy, our head nurse. Feel free to make yourself at home, and as always, we hope you enjoy your stay at Rednook.

Hi" i said to this new person as i look up "whats your name? I ask curiously probably one of the only ppl that seems half sane here

"Alan. And you?" I asked her. Looking over what she was wearing and her face.

"Could you give me a tour of the library?" I asked her.

"jade" i said simply and nod at the guy sighing. "is there sumthing i can help you with or?" I ask as i leav the sentance to whatever end it may go in his mind

"Well I was wondering how badly you wanted out of..you jacket." I said simply. "I could convince Dorthy to get someone to walk us around."

I smiled big as i look up at him. "i want out as badly as i want to get out of this hell hole." I say and decide to try and sweet talk him. "honestly if youd be a sweetheart id find a way to give you something special." I say with my sweetest smile

"I just want a walk with you. Without the jacket. Nothing more. Nothing less." I said

I sighed and nodded. "if you can get me out ofnthis thing perminently id be grateful" i said as i look at this guy wondering what hes thinking

Jess smiled "of course.. Lets start over here.." She said and led him around the library, showing him all the sections "if you wish to rent one out I can write down your information.. But you're more than welcome to sit on the couches and relax, read, if you want to take notes, I can't give you a pen but I can sit down with you and write down information.." She explained

"I can't get you out of if permanatly but I can for about an hour. For a walk." I said getting up to go talk to Dorthy.


"I understand. I just mostly want to sit and read." I replied as I looked around with her.

I nodded and sighed softly watching him walk off thinking that hes kinda cute

Dorthy watched them approach her "what is it now, you two?" She asked a little irritated

Jess nodded "what do you like to read?" She asked curiously.

"Hello sweet sweet Dorthy. I was wondering if Jade and I could go on a supervised walk. Without her Jacket on so she can stretch out her arms..For an hour maybe?" I said asking very nicely. "She's new here and I'd like to give her a tour."


"I'll read anything..But I have a rather soft spot for fantasy novels."

I tryed to stay atleast civil around the bitch and just barely manage it as he talkes to her bout my jacket

I sat there wanting to respond to the guy but Evil told me not to and to just ignore him. I felt bad for doing it, but she was my only friend and she was the one that kept me sane at times. I always took it as her trying to help me. Though it does get a bit lonely. When I finished playing checkers against Evil in the end I won. I rest the board and decided to take a walk though I was sure not to get far. I was searching for something to start a fire with. I haven't played with fire since I got here and I was starting to really loose my mind. As I wondered I saw some new faces and a lot of old ones. Many who have really gone insane from staying here too long with no hope of getting out. I felt bad for them but of course Evil always teased me for being so soft.

I looked at the scars on her hand and chuckled "okay..." i stood up and looked at the ice cream frowning than back at the cafeteria door that was closed "You know what? you're great" i grinned and ran a hand through my hair "why are you here?"

I shrugged "I'm certifiably insane, you?" I asked offering him some of my ice cream.

Dorthy frowned "only for one hour, you understand? And if you get out of control, you will get shocks.." She said before letting her out of the straight jacket.

Jess smiled "I'm a sucker for fiction, mostly mystery and suspense.." She said showing him the area he was looking for.

I smiled. "Your a doll sweet sweet Dorthy." I said as I watch Jade get out of her jacket.

"What kind of mystery and suspense do you like? Sherlock Holmes or some other type?" I asked as we walked.

I sigh softly as i stretch my arms. "well lets go" i said and started to walk around

The attending followed a few feet behind us as we walked. I started showing where stuff was. The library, TV room, Cafe, and etc.

I continued to walk around trying to find a place that had fire. I could go to the kitchen but that would mean getting past all the locks, and right now I wasn't up for it. So I decided to let Evil take over and find us some entertainment.

I smiled as i followed trying hard not to stare at him as we walked and i blush hard at the thought flowing thru my mind

I would glance at her every now and then. When the tour was over we still had some time left to do whatever she wanted.

I blushed harder but force it to clear from my face and neck before the tour ended and at the time i was rele craving him but ddnt no any good places to ditch the gaurddog and find a place to convince him to have a bit of fun
