Welcome to the Rednook Mental Institution. A place where you can let your freak flag fly. A place where your folks dumped you when they didnt want to deal with their certifiably insane kid, also a place (but not limited to) the crazies, the lairs, the suicidals, the short tempered, the bipolars, the depressed, the traumatized.. The list goes on, as it should. We're here to help you, and also to judge you because let's face it, it's a 'ucking mental institution. Don't take it to heart, everyone is off their rocker here, everyone has a story. So feel free to pick a room, pick a diagnosis, and tell us your story. There are two floors, the top floor is for men, the bottom floor is for women. You get to converse with each other in the common area, but are never aloud to be on each others floors unsupervised. This is a hospital for women and men from the ages of 18 to 25, please act your age, and don't be afraid to flaunt your sickness. On Wednesdays we have movie night, we all pack up and rent out a movie theater, watch a movie, throw popcorn, all that jazz. There is a courtyard and activities to do outside, as well as in, but no swimming. We don't need you fucks drowning each other. Which brings me to my next point, you absolutely cannot kill each other (that's rude) or yourself for that matter. We may be crazy but we still have manners. You meet with the therapist once a week and take the pills we subscribe to you every day. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask Dorthy, our head nurse. Bio: Grey had a very troubled childhood, ended up on the streets for most of her life, learned to take care of herself but had to do some dirty work along the way. She made a scene in a public library and ended up getting arrested, and was finally sent to Rednook. She looks innocent, but she is anything but that. She's bold and tempting, loves to screw with the other patients, but also enjoys her alone time. She has been at Rednook for 5 months now, and is really learning her way around the place.

Age: 19
Diagnosis: arsines; schizophrenic
Bio: Ash grew up in a ver broken home, her mother was a schizophrenic and a druggie. Her dad? He was the one supplying the drugs to her mother and abusing Ashley. He would let different men have his way with her ever since she turned thirteen. So her first time was pretty much a bad experience. On her sixteenth birthday she found an outlet for her anger, sadness, and hurt. One night she snuck out the house after cutting the gas line. Once she was far out she set the house on fire and grew a love for fire. Since her father wasn't there she went out and searched for him, when she found him he too was set a blazed. When the cops found her she had told them it was the evil voice in her head that made her do it. They wasn't sure wether to believe her or not so they sent her to Rednook where she has been for the past three years. Since shes been there they have taken her fire away so she was only left with her evil friend.

Diagnosis: Generalized anxiety disorder / alcoholic
bio: Born in a rich family, Oliver was spoiled and acted like a brat since he was a kid. when he turned 16 his parents offered him a boat and allowed him to go on a cruise, unfortunately he faced a storm and his crew died, he stayed on a lifeboat without food or water for a week. he finally arrived to an island and has been there for 3 years. It was a hard period of his life since he kept being attacked by natives. He learned how to fight and how to survive and managed to get back. His body has scars everywhere. He doesn't know how to react around people and always panic, the thing is when he's afraid of someones he becomes very dangerous which is the reason he was sent to Rednook. He attacked a young girl because she got too close to him and asked many questions, it made him go crazy.

Diagnosis:Heavy user of Pot/Shrooms. But also manic depressive and does not like new people. Has been known to punch walls, doors, and etc. In rare cases people who made him angry.
Bio:He grew up in a orphange. He got tossed from foster family to foster family. Was let out of the system when he was 18. Now he's been at Rednook for 8 months.

Diagnosis:Has attempted to kill himself. But also had Agoraphobia from ages 15-19. He wouldn't leave his bedroom/bathroom. At age of 20 his parents sent him to Rednook to get help.
Bio:His parents loved him but he was picked on badly 7-9th grades. The summer after his freshman year he just shut himself off from the world. He didn't feel important. Felt helpless. He tried to kill himself on 2 different occassions.

I was walking out of my 30 minute long therapy session with Dr. Harvey when Dorthy trotted her old blue haired ass right up to me, 2:30 on the dot.

"Time to take your pills Annabel." She said to me, as if I wasn't fucking aware as she held the little plastic cup in front of my face, expecting me to snatch it up like it was a hot fudge Sunday. I went through the motions anyway, popped them into my mouth like a good girl, pretended to swallow, showed her my empty mouth and went on with my business. Once out of sight of course I spat them out and shoved them in my pocket, a good trading tool for later use.

My first day here and i already felt like breaking out. I looked at the other patients and wondered how they did to bear it.

I was sent to see the specialists. they started running tests on me before they released me and gave me some pills. i swallowed them and walked to the common room.

my first day wasnt exactly the best they drag me back kicking and screaming to the back screaming that im gana kill my parents for tossing me in here and they give me a shot that puts me into a slite doze but still concious of everything thats going on around me and stick me in the comen room with a straight jacket on and stick me in a corner

I sat on a table all by myself not wanting to get in trouble on my first day. i looked at a deck of cards set on the center of the table and sighed taking it and playing to distract my mind. so many people in this room...it was too much.

i fidgeted in my seat before i got up and walked to an old woman wearing a uniform "Can i go to my room?"

"Yes you may.." Dorthy said and gave the boy a small smile "although you may want to eat with your pills dear.. Or else you'll get sick.."

"Everything makes you sick here.. The food, the pills, the wall color.." I said circling Dorthy and the new guy "no need to lie to the poor boy Dorthy.. He'll be sick every day of his life if he stays here.." I said dancing around them.

Dorthy frowned "don't be so dramatic Annabel.." She said and looked back at the boy "you'll be fine dear.. Just don't let this one bother you.." She said nodding in my direction.

i looked at Annabel and shrugged "you don't look sick to me" i said pulling down my sleeves to cover my scars. last thing i wanted was a rude comment and get on the edge.

I sit in the corner trying hard to focus thru whatever the hell they gave me and finally strt pushing thru i slowly get up and smile at the bitch that drugged me as i walk slowly to the three and spit in dorthys face "yiul never force me to do anything" i say completly calm not realizing the hot guy standing jext to her

I laughed a charming laugh "I'm sick in the head, love. The best kind." I said with a grin then looked at the girl in the straight jacket and watched as she spat in Dorthys face "that's just unsanitary.." I mumbled

Dorthy took a hanky and wiped off her face "do you feel better?" She asked "do that again and ill have you in the patted room for a week." She threatened.
