He took her in and raised her as a normal girl, with no knowledge of her real parents or that she was a princess, just that she's adopted. Then a very strange boy comes to school and says her name before asking it. Then he asks her to come home with him. Upon further knowledge she finds out who she is and she's his betrothed. Her country is slowly following apart. So will she go to the home she never knew? And she learns a secret that her parents didn't know, she is a fea.

I blushed lightly as i look at them and watch them as lyra curls up against drakos belly and he curls his tail around her and lays a wing down over her. "i think so 2 but i have a feeling shes gana be a spunky opinionated dragon." I say with a smile

"Sounds like me. She won't take anything from no one." I smiled as I watched them.

I laughed alittle and smiled "just like ur dad as well and he would have loved lyra."

"Only a dragon hater wouldn't."

I nodded and sighed softly. "only the enemys of dragon and rider hate them drow and all our enemys out there tryied years ago to raise the dead dragons and failed miserably to try and fight us in the skys" i say as i look at you

"yes very specially since the first dragon they summoned turned on them almost immediatly bc their magic users couldnt keep it under control. And slaughtered half of the drow and ogres and goblins and whatever else is with them. Then returned to wherever it came from. me and draco were far enuf away that it didt sense us or if it did it ddnt bother hunting s down. We were sent to scout out their camp thanks to drako been the only pure black dragon in the dragon fleet" i said and shake my head. "needless to say they ddnt try it again."

i nodded. "Sounds smart. I like that dragon."

"yea but if we woulda came closer me and drako wouldnt be here right now. Creaturs like that you cant control you can only point in the right direction but that dragon they couldnt even direct it so it killed them bc it was 2 strong and would have kept going till it ran out of strength and died again or it killed someone or enuf of ppl that we would have to put it down thankfully it headed out to sea an d drowned before it could do any more dmage" i say as i look at her and drako huffs loudly

"Yeah, as long as no one got hurt."

"me and drako only stuck around long enuf to confirm it wasnt gna come back our way and hightailed it out of there. But no reports have gotten to us that anyone else got hurt." I say as drako raises his head gently grabbing the little dragon by the scruff of her neck and laying her down before getting up and launching himself into the air letting me no that hes going in search of food.

Lyra watched him leave before coming to me and curling up. "I am glad he didn't hurt anyone else."

"we all are and i hope well we all hope we dnt have to face something like that bc who knows what kind of powers that dragon had. A normal dragon has magic but cant summon it unless a certain need or mood is met. The only magic dragons can summon at will is the creation of fire after they have grown for 6 months after the 6 month period dragons are able to summon fire at will." I say as i watch lyra

I smile and scratch her head. "Yeah, sounds right. So this cutie isn't dangerous until she is 6 months."

"trust me shes dangerous now. She may not look like it but her teeth and claws are always as sharp as a finely sharpened blade. And even now her tail has enuf strength in it that it could easily leave a mark. But within 3 months shel be big enuf to ride and cause all kinds of hell if she rele wanted to. Trust me on that me and drako wernt always as close as we are now specially in the begining he gave me quite a few broken bones and cuts. But we always seemed to come back and become that much stronger. But over the last 2 years wev both learned so much bout eachother as well as how we came to be. Dragons and riders as partners i mean." I said as i watch her

"Well sounds harsh."

"yea but me and drako have worked things out even tho we do have our fightes everynow and then they havnt gotten as brutal. For the most part we stick to yelling at eachother spend a night away from eachother then try and work things out in the morning. But either way even tho lyra is small shes still just as deadly as drako is if she chose to be that is." I say as i c her eyes constantly roaming the room even tho shes curled in ur lap

She purrs loudly in her chest as she hears us talking "yes she is drako seems to be keeping her curiousity in check at the moment. But who knows when that will change" i said and smile

"Well soon I can explain things to her," I said as I scratched her more.

She purrs even louder as i nod and sigh softly. "its been over an hour and drako isnt back yet thats not like him." I say as i get up and move to the opening for dragons
